1 The Wendigo

Hello everyone, Today I will be telling you a very old story, but you must listen or thee I speak of will be a reality…

It is said that this creature is now known as the "Wendigo"

Was told by Native Americans back long ago to warn their children and travelers never to venture the cold woods alone at night alone, some who do go have never returned rarely does a person ever come back alone with a story to tell.

These bests are told to look like giant deer with skin stretched over their bones and are very thin, but in the one, I will tell you will be around the old legend it's self.

Long ago it was said that a man-eating beast wandered the woods, a man was hired to find this beast by a tribe that was slowly growing smaller and smaller as the people who did not listen and went out alone, they said to the man if he helped them rid their land of this monster he would be paid handsomely.

The man agreed only thinking of the reward he thought he could trick the tribe by what description was given of a giant deer of the height of 4 grown men that could stand on its back legs with sharp claws and teeth, the man grabbed what weapon he had and killed a stag as he cut the head off and took sharp dagger-like rocks to place in its jaws and used his knife to sharpen the horns making it look scary.

Thinking he was sly enough to pull this off he wandered back to where the tribe was, the chief waited inside his tent alone as the man entered it he placed the false beasts head down as he waited for the money he was promised, the old chief looked at it and chuckled a little his kind face looked at the man and said "Do you really think you could fool me with a stag?" he continued to laugh as the man stiffened with anger he walked out of the tent into the woods still able to hear the old man's laughter. He wandered deeper into a part of the woods unfamiliar to him as he stopped to check for any signs he would leave behind but to no luck, he was lost, a bit shaken he started running to where he thought he came from only going farther into the dark woods, he sat to catch his breath on an old log as a faint noise was heard.

"Over here" the voice called it was nice at first before it started shouting the voice sounded like the old man's as he ran the opposite direction being stoped by a giant being its leathery skin grey and stretched patches of hair on its body a skull on its face looking down at the man as he stood shocked as the beast picked him up by a sharpened claw-like hand and ate him whole. Never to be seen…
