3 Chapter 3: Training begins.

4 years later,

I'm now 5 years old. The world is in a devastated state. I played Dbz kakarot and it perfectly fits what was shown, damaged buildings, abandoned houses, ruined roads. The androids seemed to have finished their business here. They were not spotted in this city since three years.

I have started to try to sense Ki. Surprisingly, it's pretty easy. Is it because I'm a half-saiyan ?

I have succeeded in sensing ki and I can more or less detect people's ki but I can't sense Gohan's Ki. Maybe he is hiding. I must not forget he is still a teenager.

I remember. He was hiding with Chichi till he grew and one day he left to fight the androids.

Seems like it will not be now that I can train with him.

"Trunks ! Come eat dinner."

"I'm coming mom."

I finally adapted to calling her mom. And I began to forget how my previous parents look like. At this point I'm not depressed about it. Bulma is a really loving mom.

After that we ate a lot.

"Don't tell me you want to fight the androids. I know you are smart and tough but you're just a kid."

"Of course not. I want to fight the androids in the future when I'm old enough. I don't have a reason to hide you what I want to do."

"Hmm, if that's really what you want I won't be able to stop you. But the problem is I don't have enough materials."

"What are those materials, I will go look for them ?"

"No, you don't get out alone. Don't worry, I will find a solution but you need to wait."

"Okay, mom. You remember you told me stories about your childhood right ?"

"Yes, what is it ?"

"I want to see that master Rosh you talked about. the late teacher of my father's rival."

"I could give it a try, but why would you want to see him ?"

"I want him to train me in mastering martial arts."

"You do know that androids are lurking around right."

"Yes I know mom but I at least have to know martial arts, you don't want me to die right ?"

"Please I understand but it won't be now. I will need to make secret passage towards his island. I doubt androids would go there as his island is quite isolated. Plus I am working on a different project right now."

'The Time Machine.'

So the day after, I started training alone. I went in the room mom prepared for me. I could go a little crazy here.

First I needed to know how to fly. It's a basic.

If I remember correctly, in the manga, Gohan explained how to do it.

I need to sense ki, that I can already do. second I need to make a tiny ball of ki.

I close my eyes, sit crossed leg, put my hands together to meditate.

"Shhh"

It already formed.

Now I need to be able to make a ki blast. I put my hand vertically and start to gather ki and it succeeded.

"Boom"

It destroyed a bit the wall.

A few weeks later,

"99, 100, haa !"

I succeeded in flying and starting training habit physically. It has been really helpful. I can sense me getting a grasp on what ki is.

"Trunks, good news !"

"What mom, have you found the materials ?"

"No but I localized master Roshi. he seems to be on his island. I contacted him and he said that he was willing to teach you the ways of the turtle school."

"Good ! But how will I go there ?"

"I have prepared a Machine for you. it can hide your presence, you know how to fly so you will go there by flying. you will now stop levitating in here."

'I had always wanted to know how to fly just to be able to fly in my own house.'

"Okay"

"As for the gravity machine, I will complete it in a few years, you're too young."

"Understood."

"Now go !"

"What, now ?"

"Yes now. I have already prepared you rations. Come back after you have learned how to fight."

"Okay mom."

'I wanted to tell her to come with me but she must work on the time-machine.'

I sneak out slowly of the capsule corp.

There seemed to be a few people. The androids have not attacked here in a long time.

The West city looks real gloomy. I start directing myself to Roshis island. I make sure to fly really down.

"oh look at that ocean !! So beautiful ! The androids really be ruining my life."

After flying for a while, I finally see the Kame house. What a peaceful place. wouldn't it be better if we lived here. Roshi was totally forgotten in the future timeline as if he wasn't there. Yajirobe escaped because Karin saved his life. Does that mean the tower of karin and Kami's place are already destroyed by C-18 an C-17 ?

They never mentioned it. They totally forgot about Mr Popo.

Of course, Gohan knew nothing of it at the time but didn't bulma know about mr. Popo.

'Ah, finally arrived.'

I land on the ground and see nobody.

"Master Roshi ! Are you here ?!"

"You, Shut up."

It was Roshi, he opened the window and was telling me to enter quickly.

"Hello master Roshi, My name is Trunks and I'm Bulma's son."

"Yes, I know. Let me present to these four."

"These four ?"

"Hey, come out, it's Bulma's son."

"Hey hi, Trunks, That old pervert already told us about you !" A turtle was speaking to me.

"Who is a pervert ?!"

"I'm turtle the assistant of that old man."

"Hi, I'm Puar, the friend of Yamcha."

"Hello, I'm oolong."

"Hi, I'm Lauch, nice to meet you trunks."
