629 Going for a ride

The girls felt bad and urged Xiaolian to talk to Qie Xieling but even the bravest of the three of them was scared shitless. She didn't want to be on Qie Xieling's bad side. With a mouse-like voice, she said, "I am sorry about this," bowing her head before running off with her friends. The few onlookers began to disperse, their whispers trailing behind them like leaves in the wind.

Bo Ailun didn't release his grip on Qie Xieling's shoulder. "You okay?" he asked, his gaze searching Qie Xieling's face for injuries like a mother hen. 

Qie Xieling exhaled slowly, the tension draining from his body. "Yeah. I am fine. You should be worried about him," he replied, his voice softer. "How about we go for a ride?"
