563 Family time

Luo Muchen never thought he would lose control of himself more especially in front of Qie Ranzhe. He had lost at pool and now he was somehow roped into playing chess. Since he was good at chess and ranked as an intermediate master he thought he would at least walk out of here with one win but Qie Ranzhe was like a beast. His initial plan was to at least leave a good impression on Qie Ranzhe and get his approval but now he felt that the more he lost to him the less respect Qie Ranzhe had for him. It was like he was looking down on him. Just like this, he was roped into another challenge. 

They sat across from each other at the chess board, their eyes locked in a fierce stare. They had been playing for over thirty minutes and the game was nearing its end. "You are pretty good at this. What level are you?" asked Qie Ranzhe. 

Luo Muchen who was seriously strategising his next move replied, "I am an intermediate master player."
