CHRISTA FAMILY VISITED

Sam looks at him as he storms out of the house, then he turns to his wife Cynthia.

"You continue to disappoint me, Cynthia, what we went through to bring up our children.

Now to see them all fall away from the truth and what is right? And they continue to walk in this crooked path where they make wrong choices?

Inform everyone of them no sleeping over on weekends and they can only come over if they attend church.

Take what I am telling you into consideration Cynthia, if we don't try now we will lose them all.

I have failed as a father putting the burden and responsibilities on Thomas.

Now I thank God I have seen my shortcomings and I am ready to rectify my faults. I hope you do the same?" Walking away leaving Cynthia to glare after him.

'What is going on in this house. Every time Christa comes into this house it has chaos. Sitting down when Mrs. Marva brought her a glass of orange juice.

"Mrs. Marva, can you tell me exactly what is going on in this house?"

"Ma'am I don't exactly know what you mean?"

"Sit with me for a minute, you have gone to attend to Christa so what is happening, am I the wrong one?"

"Ma'am, what are you asking me?"

"Mrs. Marva, I have failed to see Christa was pregnant, Thomas keeps claiming that the child is him what is going on in this house?"

"Ma'am please, I don't want to get in between but the young Sir loves the mistress very much. and if my calculation is right she is carrying his baby.

Although she said before she is pregnant. I don't know for what reason she said it but she must have her reasons."

"Mrs. Marva is it because she wanted us to say as she when her fiancé came?"

"Ma'am, she had no idea he was coming."

"Okay so you are right, but could it be she did that so Thomas will annul the marriage as she asked him."

"Maybe, from what I observed Ma'am she doesn't seem to care what he thinks or anyone else. She like being alone.

I know she is very caring and Ma'am with time who knows if the family gives her time she will be a very good Mistress. She loves the Lord and our young Sir has given his heart to the Lord."

"He did?"

"Yes Ma'am I saw it myself and he has changed so much, Ma'am gives them a chance who knows what Miss Aliza said, she will make you all very proud."

Two weeks has gone by in October and Christa had become much stronger. With the cast still on her hand.

Thomas thought he cannot leave his business and travel with her to Kentucky, so he decided to send an invitation to the family.

The third week in October Thomas keeps checking the mailbox to see if her family sends any word of their visit.

Rising early the Friday morning knowing he has so much to do and to get the few things he had ordered. Thomas kiss her then leave saying he had some business to attend to.

Leaving the four roses and her breakfast then hurried out.

About to drive out the garage when the taxi pulls up, Sam turns to Cynthia, "Honey, we have a few guests."

"What?" When she turns around seeing the four persons standing on one side of the house,

Cynthia steps down from the van looking at them. "Sam, I don't know these people, maybe they have the wrong address."

Both approaches the visitors, observing the two young ladies and the young man closely.

They were well dressed and so was the gentleman.

Seeing how he stretches his hand out, "Good day Sir, I am Antonio Connor, and these are my children Louise, Shamil, and Laura."

Sam observed how they slightly bend, like a bow saying, "Hello."

"Nice to meet you Sir, but how can I help you?"

"I came to visit my daughter, I had a horrible dream that she is unwell."

"Your daughter Sir?" But the two girls shouted and ran towards the door. Turning only to see Christa was hugging them both.

"Mr. Connor, I am so sorry, you are Christa's, Dad?"

"Yes, I should have said so and avoided the misunderstanding."

"Please come inside," but he opens his arm as she walks straight into his arms.

"My child, I was so worried about you."

"Papa, I miss you so much, I am sorry," Sam saw when he put his hand by her lips.

"Let me look at you, are you unwell and why are you looking so very pale?"

"I had the virus, but I am getting better now."

"Chris, what happen to your hand?" Shamil ask although she had a towel covering her hand.

"Come here you, I could never hide anything from those keen eyes of yours."

Sam observes how she hugs her family, then said, "I slip on the wet floor Shamil and fell, but it is getting better.

The Doctor said my wrist got fractured, but in a few days, they will remove the cast."

Turning to Thomas's parents, "Papa this is Thomas's parents."

"We met love."

"Dad, Mom, I hope you don't mind?"

"It is okay child, take them inside and I will call Thomas."

"Dad, Thomas went on a very important meeting, please don't, he will be home later."

"Okay Christa, make your family comfortable and I will instruct Mrs. Marva which rooms to use.

Mr. Connor my wife and I have an important errand to run, that will take us about an hour or two

Please make yourselves comfortable, until we return and welcome to our home."

"Thank you, Mr. Fortune, for receiving us and I look forward to having a conversation when you return."

Seeing them all takes their traveling bag and go inside Sam and Cynthia leave.

"Honey, it is nice that her family come to visit, her father seems concerned.'

"Yes, I was just worried she might have said I push her and she got damaged."

"Honey, the child is not out to make trouble for you, but none of them looks like her, these three have taken after the father."

"Sam, I am worried, I never expected her family to visit. Suppose the children come on the weekends and just supposed they misbehave.

Sam our family will look bad, and those children seem well behaved."

"Then I must say, Thomas did not do too bad, our children might learn a thing or two from them."
