Christa responds to his lawyer, "Look, Miss Jenny, I am not insinuating anything, it just that when these two very beautiful young ladies came late, at the wedding.

"Well, from what I had noticed when we were leaving the auditorium. Two very beautiful ladies showed up, and they were very anxious to meet him, one of the names was Maggie and she was crying a lot.

Now it seems I have fouled up your plans as well as theirs. So please, don't take it to heart, as I said this was sudden and he didn't plan it?

"Miss Jenny, my husband is a very quiet man, well with me anyhow. He doesn't confide in me concerning his business nor his affairs."

"Doesn't that bother you?" Jenny asks.

"Why should it, we are married, and as you see he is not home. His business takes most of his time.

In-face I can clearly say he is more married to his business instead of me. I am sure he has already told you that?

Knowing our marriage is just a compromise, and do you think he will tell me about if he is having his affairs outside of this marriage?"

"I am sorry to hear that, but I can assure you we are not having any affairs."

Jenny looks at her, she seems to be telling me the truth and it also seems he went on a business trip and she doesn't know where?

From what she is saying, I still have a chance to make my move before their relationship has some sort of bonding.

But if I recalled he said he was taking Maggie on a cruise, just supposed he is away with Maggie as we speak and have this fool here believing he went to do some business?'

Hearing her saying, "Maybe you are right and maybe not, but it doesn't really matter. What has to happen already we can't change that?

'My God if she collapses and Tom heard I was here, he will become angry and her in-laws will surely say I did her something the way I was carrying on earlier. And besides, whatever chance I will ever have of us getting together will be lost forever.

Holding the juice for her from the tray, she took it and only drink one mouthful.

"I am fine, there is no need to worry about me, now let me get you something to drink."

"No thanks, I must be going I have an important call to make," seeing how she hurried out Christa just look at her go as though the devil was after her.

Hearing her own voice laughing at her, when it said, "I see that you are jealous?"

"Jealous my foot, now I need to do some serious thinking.

"What is there to think? That beautiful lady get a good dose of jealousy and envy ?"

"Maybe she did, but what I want to know is where he has gone? He didn't tell me he was going to be away for so long?

And from what I noticed just as he had hidden from this woman his relationship with the others. He must be doing the same to me?"

"I don't believe you are thinking that?"

"Then what do you expect me to think, he knows when he is not with me I feel this chilliness, so where is he so long? Now speak, tell me what should I do? Seeing you are so smart and have the answer?"

Christa takes a small sip of the juice again, thinking, 'How could I show my weakness in front of her, but my mouth has a bitter taste from drinking the juice.

I can't believe this is happening again? Since we return from the apartment I have never felt the chilliness, but it is beginning to happen again.

I must find a solution to keep myself warm until he returns." When the voice in her head said, "You could go and sit in front of the hearth, that will keep you warm until Thomas return."

"Yes, I could do that, but my room doesn't have one, so where can I go?"

"I know that, but the hall has a huge one, that gives the entire house warmth for winter."

"Do you expect me to lit this one and cause the whole family to be in an uproar?"

"Why not, we are already in November and the place will become colder as the days go by?"

"You know they already have some serious problem with me and Thomas already asked me to don't make problems with them."

"Then go to your room and lock the door as you said you will do, I have nothing else to say."

"Thank you, now I might get some quiet time to think of a solution."
