She asked playfully which made him avert his gaze.

Noah was about to sit on Liana's lap as he turned but he yelped in surprise as someone else caught him. 

"Young master Hertz, sit properly." 

Dominic's grim voice echoed from behind as a frown appeared on Noah's face in annoyance and he glared. 

"No, I want to sit on sister Lennie's lap!" 

Noah pouted as he spoke and extended his arms towards Liana, who was sitting beside Dominic.
