Chapter 1

On the day of the interview

Janet was still sleeping on the bed when a knock on the door woke her up, she grumbled all the way to the door and when she checked she met her friend Lola checking her watch like someone who was in a hurry and when Lola saw her she was surprised and told Janet that its is almost time for the interview, then Lola said" gosh its today , I totally forgot". Her friend then looked at her and told he that " my boss isn't an easy going person if you miss the time you wouldn't even get the job before you go there " so Janet told Lola to give her a some minutes to get ready and she went in and took her bath then got ready with the help of her friend and they set out.

On the road on their way to the company Lola told Janet about her date the Janet asked " how did the both of you meet?" " we meet at a business meeting in California, he was the manager of the company that hosted the meeting and so he told me he liked my dress and the way I comported myself , then we talked about ourselves and we found out that we had a lot of things in common , then we exchanged contacts after the meeting" Janet just starred at her and told"girl you need to be very careful of those that play with your feelings this days " then Lola just waved it off " forget that girl he has the money and as long as he does I don't care". Then in other not to cause fight Lola changed the topic and asked her friend about her boyfriend Freddy , then Lola said told her friend " we broke up two weeks ago after I found out he has being cheating on me for the past 4 months" then Lola said " wow, now I can see why you are advicing me to be careful. You know what I have always told you that he isn't good enough for you, he doesn't deserve someone as smart as you". Then a pissed off Janet said" Lola you know what its okay let's just end the matter here , okay" Lola looked at her and said " sure its okay if u don't want to talk about it". They continued the rest of the journey in silence.
