Chapter 4: The Infirmary

Will couldn't believe the infirmary was actually empty. That made him wonder if the campers were sick. They managed to injure themselves almost every day in some way. It didn't matter if it was Capture the Flag, or training, or the climbing wall, they would come in with cuts, burns, broken bones, and then therw was the occasional sword in the stomach. The camper was lucky since it wasn't an imperial gold sword. After a little incident a while back, Chiron had decided to let the campers use weapons that were made from silver, or stygian iron, like Nico's sword. Will stared out the window, wondering what Nico was doing, when the son of Hades passed the window, giving Will a hint to where he was going. He went to the door. "Kayla, can you cover my shift real quick? I need to check on Nico." His sister, Kayla, came around the corner. "You mean your grumpy little ball of darkness? Yeah, I can. Now go on, shoo! And don't come back until your done making out with him!" Will tried not to turn into a tomato. "That's not what...ugh, nevermind!" And he walked out, headed toward the training grounds.
