This is the story of an 18 -year -old girl named Mitsuha Yamano who has just lost her family in an accident . Despite being 18 years old, Mitsuha looks like a 12-year-old . To calm her mind, Mitsuha went to a place famous for its beautiful scenery . While enjoying the view, Mitsuha was interrupted by a group of teenagers . They invite her to hang out to have fun but Mitsuha refused the invitation . One of the teenagers took action by pulling her hand but Mitsuha responded by biting the teenager's hand . Shocked by Mitsuha's actions, he immediately released his grip . Mitsuha was thrown and as a result of suddenly released, she falls into a ravine . After Mitsuha regain her consciousness, She already in the middle of the forest that she never been at before. Where are Mitsuha right now?
