What Nest's Above

Everyone has reached the summit of the mountain. But as they look around, they spot a giant nest, and in it was a massive black bird.

Perillian Female: Everyone get down! (The perillian warns warns before she takes cover behind some large rocks)

Upon hearing the warning everyone takes cover, some better than others.

Lai (Orthoan Female): What's going on?! (Lai asks the Perillians)

Perillian Female: It's a Deathbird. They're extremely dangerous creatures, that once attacked our home planet. (One of the Perillians explains)

Lai (Orthoan Female): How dangerous are we talking here? (Lai asks)

Perillian Female: Enough to obliterate entire armies. (She warns in fear)

Merillian Male: We have experience fighting these things, but right now we don't have nearly enough weapons to destroy it. (A merillian explains nervously)

Blem (Tallian Leader): We Tallians have enough weapons. Leave this to us. (Blem says confidently)

Lai (Orthoan Female): We should all work together to slay this beast... It seems to be asleep at the moment, so that gives us the element of surprise. (Lai explains as she stares at the creature)

Just after Lai says that, Null appeared above them all.

Null The Lost god: Hello everyone! Glad to see that you make it here safely! (Null says in a thunderous voice)

The creature then roars, for it was woken up by Null's loud voice.

Clad (Tallian Male): What is wrong with you?! You woke it up! (Clad yells at Null for blowing their cover)

Null The Lost god: Oh, sorry... Anyway! You've reached the top of the mountain, now you must take five feathers from the dangerous beast. But be warned, it's deadly. (Null explains)

Perillian Female: We know! That's why we were aiming to attack it in it's sleep! (The female yells angrily)

Null The Lost god: I'd hurry up if I were you. You don't want it's mother to catch you here. (Null informs them with a smile)

Eric North: That thing's a baby?! (Eric asks in surprise)

Null The Lost god: Yes it is, the babies are much smaller that the adults, and are almost as formidable. (Null explains)

Duke: How is that the baby, it's like twenty feet tall! (Duke yells)

Null The Lost god: Indeed it is, good luck. (Null says before he disappears)

Perillian Female: He may be right, this one seems way smaller than the one that attacked our planet.

Merillian Male: But according to Null it is just as dangerous, so we should be cautious. (The Merillian advises)

Blem (Tallian Leader): Or we could just attack it all at once. All we need are it's feathers and we can leave here as soon as possible. (Blem explains)

Lai (Orthoan Female): Then that's what we'll do. We can't afford to let the mother find us here, so let's kill it quickly. (Lai announces)

Penelope North: Amy hide behind those rocks, we'll be right back. (Penelope tells Amy)

Amy: Okay. (Amy says before she going to hide)

Everyone gets as close as they could to the Deathbird, and prepare to fire their weapons.

Lai (Orthoan Female): Fire! (Lai yells, and everyone with long ranged weapons fires at the creature)

The Deathbird is blasted by bullets, energy blasts, lasers and rockets. And after they thought it was enough, they stopped firing.

But as the smokes clears everyone notices that the creature wasn't dead, it shielded itself from their attacks with it's large wings, and growled deeply.

Perillian Female: Retreat! (The Perillian yells as she runs away from the Deathbird)

Seeing it's assailants fleeing, the Deathbird pushes it's wings outward with tremendous force, resulting in razor sharps feathers to be shot out of it's wings, going towards everyone with deadly force.
