Part 56: Another way

"Oh, there is." The Earth siren said. "Get rid of the girl."

This went over the head of Olivia siren. Her eyes scream murder and desperation. Kole looked at his brother with a sad look.

Kosair looked at boh of them angrily. "Don't tell me that you're thinking of killing her! I'm not gonna die that easy! We need help from him goodness sake!" He looked at his father and clenched his jaw. "We have a war coming up and we have all the generals of the seven seas in this room for a more important reason. If I would really die early, Kole can have the throne! I'm likely to die earlier in the war than because of a loss of my soulmate!"

Olivia siren looked down with shame. Her impulsive thinking was exposed to the generals around her and also tainting the good image of Krum siren. It was painfil for both sons to realize that but it was their mother's mistake.

"I...I" Olivia was at a loss of words.

The earth siren smirked and then looked at Krum. 'This was all her fault.' She looked back at Olivia. 'Now you have to suffer.' She then rolled her eyes and bowed to everyone. "I'll take my leave. Earth has many things I should take responsibility for."

The Earth siren left and the room was full lf tension and awkwardmess was emiting from the queen.

Kole tried to difuse the situation. "I volunteer to get help from Destiny. Kosair, you stay and plan war tactics with father."

Kosair shook his head. "No. You have better strategy than me. Kole, I can reason more with Destiny."

"He's not gonna listen to you. I'm going, period." Kole stood up quickly and swam towards the end of the throne room.

Kosair tries to follow but Krum stops him. "Kosair..."

Kosair looks backa at his father. Kosair knows that Destiny will not listen to him but he wanted to prove his worth. Krum knows exactly what he was thinking. "Let's just plan the attack. We'll wait for Kole to come back with Destiny."

Kosair clenched his jaw.

The meeting ended with a plan to attack full force by the end of the week. All generals were dismissed and hurried to get back to their bases and collect their soldiers.

Olivia then swam to Malnivero who was talking to the Earth siren.

"Excuse me, Earth siren. May I have a word with you?" Her nervous voice made them both look at each other. Malnivero gave them space and talked with some generals who were still around.

The Earth siren nodded. "What troubles you, your highness?"

Olivia whispered. "About what you said earlier...how can we keep my son alive?" Her hands were trembling and the Earth siren noticed.

The earth siren smirked and chuckled. "Again, yoi need to get rid of the girl if you want your son alive."

Olivia shook her head. "But we can't hurt her."

"And why not?"

"Is there a way? I will repay your kindness." Olivia tried to persuade her.

Earth siren smiled. "Well...there is one way."

Olivia looked at her with hope in her eyes.

The Earth siren responded. "We'll match her to Destiny."

Olivia nodded. "How do we do that?"

The earth siren laughed. She knew that Olivia would be willing to do it. She thought right that Olivia would only think about herself. The earth siren then gave her the instructions. "Take the blood of the girl and pour it on Kosair's pink pearl tear. But before that, sharpen the pearl so that you can write Destiny on the girl's own back."

Olivia nodded, confident that she can even do it by herself. "How do we know if it works?"

The earth siren replied. "After you write Destiny's name on her body, it will disappear almost immediately. Then, your son would have his full lifespan back."

Olivia nodded. "Thank you."
