Part 4:

My role as Destiny's wife is a dream.

I never imagined that everything that I dreamed of.

Whenever we're on land, we would be like any normal couple. At sea, we're the most powerful. Harvey would go to other seas of the world, meet up with sea captains, battle off intruders, and creat life throughout the ocean.

My role is to also give life to the living creatures of the sea. I heal the sickly creatures and restore the coral beds. My duty is to also attend to some events and help restore the light to the ocean.

Ever since I married Harvey and his life essence was shared with me, the duty of restoring life and creating life was enhances. Every day, his eyes would flicker into a lighter color because of his urges. Our fertility reflects the ocean's.

We had to take this role and Harvey would tick every day because one immortal was missing. He wouldn't tell me who. He only told me that the missing immortal is called The Song of the Sea.

I sat up, wiping the sweat off my forehead after another round with Harvey. I mean, I have no complaints but I can sense that he can feel pain while holding himself back.

I hover my body over Harvey's, carefully looking at his sleeping figure.

I remember that one time, he forced himself on me because of the urge. He didn't tell me because we'd do it everyday.

On that day, I was so tired and my body ached from too much of it. He held himself back for a whole week.

I remember seeing the ocean looking gloomy. The skies were grey and the fish in the harbor were few. I was at our pavilion on our beach. I stood there wondering why the sea looked so mean.

Then Harvey came and shingly held me in his arms. His eyes were in a light shade of purple and his hair was white as snow. He just couldn't hold himself back. I cried while he apologized over and over. As we did it, the sea began to brighten and the weather cleared.

I would shake when he would be near me. He then told me about the Song of the Sea.

I slowly leaned down and kissed sleeping Harvey. He's tired and so am I but this time, I couldn't sleep.

I've been curious about that song of the sea.

I looked out the window. The moonlight shines on the water and the waves gently crash on the sand.

I sigh. "Who is the Song of the Sea?"

I closed my eyes and started to think but then I heard a soft humming sound.

I opened my eyes and looked at the sea. I want to go to the sea.

I got up from bed and went to the shore. That's when the music starts to get louder. It was calling me.

I slowly go to the sea and I transformed into a siren.

It's luring me.

my mouth opened and I began to sing with the melody. "A life... a heart...that came from sadness..."

The tune in my ears made me smile unconsciously.

"my love will heal you tonight..."

A tune that made me so confused but sure.

"and if your heart would break again..."

I closed my eyes, blindly swimming toward the tune.

"I will love you...and heal you...once more."

The tune stopped and I opened my eyes.

I realize I'm now in the middle of the sand bar. I looked at myself and I had my hair down when it was tied up earlier. I have no scratches but no clothes. The tune somehow bewitched me. Why?
