1 Introduction

Right now, I'm in bighit entertainment. I'm being lead somewhere I can meet all the seven members of my favourite K-pop band BTS. Ridiculous, I know.

'I'm freaking out. I never in my freaking imagination thought this could ever happen to me. Meeting all the members?! God forbid I start hyperventilating. Who am I..? How this happened...?'

'Hello. My name is Melanie. My friends called me Marshmallow. Ridiculous, I know. But I don't mind it. I have been living in Seoul for about 2 years now. I am a small-time singer and I work in a bar named "Black Rose". It is also a restaurant. It's small and cozy. As weird as a bar being cozy sounds, it's absolutely true. It just means that it's not as large as most bars are and is less noisy. It's a place to relax and enjoy.'

'I work for 24 hours per week and earn enough to fend for myself. I don't rely on anyone else for money. I live on rent in a 100 sq. feet apartment. And I love it. I feel a little lonely sometimes. About my family.... I don't really feel like talking about it. But I wish I could have a great family who understands me, loves me and cares for me. I wish I could have a lot of fun with them...

'Anyways, I'm currently making my way to Black Rose. It's almost the time for my shift. I start at 7o'clock in the evening. I need to hurry up.' I'm always late. I'm kind of clumsy and a procrastinator.

"Hey Mel!" A girl with a blinding smile calls me. She seems very happy to see me.

She is owner of the club and my friend, Lia.

"Why are you so enthusiastic? We just parted yesterday."

"Aww. Don't say that" she pouted.

"Ok. I missed you too....not!" I laughed.

"Stop teasing me already!"

Lia is a very enthusiastic girl. And this is a part of her personality.

"I just like looking at your cute face when you're annoyed... from time to time."

"you're cute too! that's why everyone likes to tease you by calling you marshmallow but you don't even seem annoyed by it."

Her reactions are really cute and that is why everyone teases her. Lia is a optimistic girl. She's my really great friend. She is very friendly with everyone she meets. I met her six months ago when I was looking for work. She hired me as a live singer and helped me a lot in getting used to my new job. She is my boss but treats me like a friend.'She cares for me and I really appreciate it.

"By the way, are the customers in yet?" Of course, what a dumb question.

"Yes, there are a lot of customers today. Get ready! Kitae's shift ends in 10 minutes." She smiled as soon as his name escaped her lips.

"Kitae huh?" I asked teasingly.

She blushed.

"What a great sight! you're blushing!" I started laughing.

Her face had become completely red. Do people normally blush this easily?

'Kitae was Lia's boyfriend. They had met the same way me and Lia did. They hit it off really well and the rest is history.' I'm really happy for her. She finally found someone she loved. She always looked a bit lonely in the past.

"Jokes aside, now you only have 7 minutes!" She smiled with satisfaction.

I have plenty of time but the chances of being late are thick.

"Oh no!" I rushed to get my keyboard ready in the "music room". Always happens.

She was laughing now, clearly enjoying the show.
