1 prologue

Growing up Jimin had witnessed arguments between his mother and abusive father. It was pain to experience so when he couldn't handle the pressure anymore, he ran to the park where he cried and let all his emotions out.

Jimin buried his face into his hands as he cried on the bench. He heard footsteps approach him, so he looked up. "Are you okay?" Another little boy asked. Jimin shook his head, as he looked down at the ground.

"Well, I can maybe make you happy." The boy sat down beside Jimin. "I'm Jungkook, let's be best friends.". Jimin stared at him for a while. "Okay." He sighed. "I'm Jimin.".

As they grew up together, they promised to never leave each other. "You can't break this promise!" Jungkook said as he intertwined pinkies with Jimin. "I won't, I won't." Jimin giggled.

He broke the promise.
