Chapter 9

And now for my last skill, Beast Talk. This ability ended up getting its name for the simple fact that it allowed me to understand animals and communicate with them in a certain way. I couldn't literally talk to animals, at least not to ordinary animals I think, but I could understand what they wanted to convey. Your feelings, your thoughts, and your memories. After that day, I tried using Beast Talk on other animals. I tried it on a cat; a dog; a butterfly; a squirrel, and each one was more exciting and interesting than the other. Animals may look simple, but from the connection I realized that they have nothing simple. And for that simple fact, I started to appreciate the lives of other beings, something I never thought I would do.

And I wonder what it would be like to try to communicate with some magical being. Would the connection with them be different? And would the more rational creatures like the mermaids and the giants also have a connection? And if they did, how different would it be? There are so many questions and doubts that can only be answered when I make my entry into the wizarding world, so until then this is just a thought for the future...

Well, those are my skills. And the reason I think they're all connected is because they all have something in common. They're abilities that generally belong to animals, such as Instinct and the higher senses. And I have no idea why I have these abilities, as they are not part of my magical power. What if I have the blood of some magical beast? Or if I'm the descendant of some wizard? Or is it that the same superior being who put me in this world also decided to give me some cheats, already knowing how screwed up this world is and what kind of problems await me in the future? Sigh, there are so many possible reasons but no answer, but I think more likely that this power is a gift from the superior being who sent me here.

Well, another question I have is if it can be passed on to my children and descendants, like Parseltongue and Metamorfomagus? And those were my 4 years of work and training to prepare myself for the day I will enter the wizarding world. It was time-consuming, difficult, and often stressful, but I know every second of my time I spend trying to improve my skills and myself, will end up paying off. Hah! My goal in the wizarding world is to become powerful to protect my loved ones, but beyond that I have the goal to be above everyone else! I won't be below anyone! Call me arrogant or proud, but that's who I am and nothing is going to change that. I don't care what other people think of me, the only people whose opinion I really care about is my family, and I'm sure they will support me in whatever I do. Hell, my dad will probably think it's cool and my mom might even try to help me out by giving me some tips! So with my family supporting me I will live my life as best I can, as we only live once, or in my case twice.

Now Hogwarts is very close to starting a new term, and then they will start handing out the letters to the olds and new students. And I think some professor will be coming to deliver the my letter.

And until my letter arrives, I'll finish any projects I still need to finish, and then I'll get everything ready. The only things I still have to do are: keep my training up to date, publish the next books in the Inheritance Cycle and Percy Jackson franchises, which are Eldest and Sea of ​​Monsters. Also, I plan to spend a lot of time with my family, because when I start at Hogwarts, I will go a long time without seeing them.

And even with me entering the wizarding world and going to Hogwarts, I will still try to spend as much time as possible with them. Maybe we even book some trips to other countries, to see other places and cultures, and also to know other wizarding communities.
