The Yule Ball continued, and my friends and I continued to have fun with the other students and teachers.

During this time I danced with most of my girl friends, and I also danced with Professor McGonagall and Penny.

When I danced with them they both said they were proud of me and that my opening dance with Luna was incredible, and I was immensely happy to hear that.

And now in this current moment I was dancing again with Luna, only this time instead of a soft waltz what the Weird Sisters were playing was a more upbeat and fast song.

"I love this song" Luna commented, smiling happily as she did her rather peculiar dance.

"Oh, I didn't know you liked music" I said, and that made Luna look at me with an amused look.

"Silly" she tapped the tip of my nose, "Everyone likes music"

And with her response I could only smile ironically.

The two of us then danced a few more songs, before deciding to take a break, with Luna going to get something to drink while I went to the table where the food was.

And as I was putting some snacks on my plate I heard a tinkling noise coming from above me, and looking up I saw a small shiny ball flying around a holly bush.

'Luminous fairies' I thought, looking at the little creature that seemed to be dancing.

And the little fairy also seemed to notice me, as she stopped dancing, making a noise like a shout before flying towards me.

"Hehe, hi little one" I smiled at the fairy that was flying excitedly in front of me.

I then raised my hand with the palm facing up, so that the fairy could rest on it.

And while the fairy played with the tip of my finger, I looked around, seeing her friends flying over the Great Hall or sitting on a branch.

I then looked at Luna who was talking to Lily at the table where the drinks were, and looking between her and all these shiny little creatures an idea started to come to my mind.

And with that idea in mind I turned to the little fairy who was holding my index finger.

"Hey, could you and your friends do me a favor?" I asked the little fairy, who tilted her head to the side before nodding.

"Great" I smiled, and then I started telling the fairy what I wanted her and her friends to do.

And after whispering my idea I looked at her, noticing that her eyes were slightly wide.

"So, you think you can do this?" I asked.

And upon hearing my question, the fairy quickly nodded her head with an excited look, very excited about the idea.

She then turned and flew towards a group of fairies who were standing around some mistletoe, and after a few seconds I could see these fairies nodding their heads before heading off to talk to the other glowing fairies.

'Well, now I just need to wait' I smiled, before looking at Luna who was walking towards me holding two glasses of drinks.

"Why are you smiling?" she asked me after handing me one of the glasses.

"Oh, you'll see why" I replied, hiding my smile with the glass.

And Luna looked at me confused, not understanding what I meant.

However, it didn't take long for her to receive her answer, as not a minute later I could feel that the luminous fairies were ready.

And looking up I could see the little fairy I was talking to earlier hiding behind a candle, and she was looking at me, as if waiting for my command.

And seeing this I nodded, and the little fairy then turned to the others who were also hiding and waved her hand.

And that was the signal that all the luminous fairies were waiting for before starting their show.

And then more than two hundred luminous fairies came out of their hiding places, and brighter than ever they began to dance in sync throughout the Great Hall, humming in time to the music played by the Weird Sisters.

And to enhance the presentation of the luminous fairies, I discreetly took my wand and cast a spell on the starry ceiling of the Great Hall, and then, to the surprise and joy of many, a light snow began to fall.

'Now it looks like a Christmas ball' I smiled.

"It's just like the surprise you made for me on my birthday" Luna murmured, her eyes shining as she looked at the creatures of light that flew around us.

And I was happy that she remembered that, since it was exactly because I knew that she really liked the surprise I made for her on her birthday that I asked the fairies to do this presentation today.

And Luna wasn't the only one who was fascinated by the presentation of the luminous fairies, as the other students were also looking at them in wonder.

"Ooh, are those fairies?"

"So beautiful!"

"So this is Hogwarts magic?"

And seeing all this happen, Headmaster Dumbledore, who was talking to Moody, blinked in confusion, before looking at Professor McGonagall who was next to him.

However, she was also looking around with a surprised look, and she seemed to feel the Headmaster's gaze, as she turned to him with a question in her eyes.

And upon seeing the Headmaster shake his head in denial, Professor McGonagall tilted her head, as confused as the Headmaster.

The two then began searching with their eyes for the only other person who could have done this, and as soon as their eyes fell on Professor Flitwick they saw the little Charms master looking in wonder at the fairies around him.

'Huh? Wasn't it him too?' the Headmaster wondered.

But then he heard a happy laugh, which stood out among the others, and looking in the direction of that laugh he saw me next to Luna.

I had one of the fairies sitting on my hand while I was surrounded by seven other fairies, introducing them to Luna, who played and talked to them with joy.

And feeling a gaze on me I turned around, finding the Headmaster staring at me, and with a smile I gave him a slight wink, before returning my focus to my date.

And the Headmaster looked at me in surprise for a few seconds, before snorting in amusement, shaking his head.

'This boy never ceases to amaze me...' he thought.

And the old man with strange and colorful clothes decided to pay attention to the ball again, enjoying the lively, beautiful and brilliant show of the luminous fairies.

After the ball ended, my friends and I left the Great Hall and started going together to the Ravenclaw common room, and while they walked ahead of me, Luna and I were a little further behind.

"That was an amazing night, don't you think?" I asked Luna.

"Yes" she replied with a happy smile, before looking at me, "Tonight was one of the days I had the most fun in my entire life"

"Same for me" I smiled, "But you know, I'm sure we'll have other days and moments as fun as today in the future"

"Really?" Luna asked me, and I nodded.

"Yes, and I know that when that happens we will all be together" I said, looking at our friends who were talking excitedly in front of us.

And hearing this made Luna excited, and so she turned around and started looking ahead with a look full of expectation.

"Hey, why are you two back there?" Stephen turned and asked us.

"Oh, it's just that we're a little tired" I replied.

"Oh yes, it must have been very tiring dancing with all those girls" Terry grumbled.

"Is that the smell of envy I smell coming from you?" I asked, looking at Terry mockingly.

"I'm not jealous" he denied with a grimace.

"Yeah, anything that makes you sleep at night" I rolled my eyes.

And that only made Terry's frown increase, but a cough next to him made him freeze.

And slowly turning around he saw that Sue, who had been his date, was looking at him with her arms crossed and an eyebrow raised.

"I wasn't jealous of him... Why would I be? My date looked beautiful and perfect" he began to say quickly, sweating nervously.

"Uhum" Sue looked at him skeptically.

And seeing Terry acting docile in front of Sue my other friends laughed, with Michael mocking him while Stephen made a whip cracking sound with his mouth.

And I was also laughing lightly, while Luna next to me snorted in amusement.

'Yes, we will have many more fun times together in the future' I thought with a soft smile.
