-Breakfast – Sunday-

It was morning, and I was in the kitchens eating my breakfast while the castle's dozens of elves ran around the place preparing food for the other students and serving me.

I was sitting while drinking some orange juice, reading the Daily Prophet that was delivered just now.

And I was reading the Daily Prophet with interest because there was an article talking about the champions of the Tri-Wizard tournament and the Weighing of the Wands Ceremony that took place on Friday.

'Hmm, this article is less biased than what Skeeter wrote in canon' I thought, glad to have gotten rid of her before she could use her poison pen to defame me or my friends.

'But I guess things haven't changed much, as at least half the article is about Harry, which isn't that surprising, with him being the Boy-Who-Lived and the fourth champion.'

'Krum also has some focus in the article, but he's a Quidditch star who played in the Quidditch World Cup final, so that's normal'

'There are also some parts talking about me and how unexpected it is that a minor is participating in the tournament as Hogwarts champion' and reading an excerpt that said that the confidence in Hogwarts winning would decrease because I was the champion made me frown.

I didn't care what others thought of me, but being underestimated like that didn't sit well with me.

Of course, I understood why they thought my chances of winning were low, but I still couldn't help but feel upset.

But shaking my head I continued reading the newspaper, realizing that Fleur had few quotes about her, and the parts that talked about her only mentioned her appearance and Veela descent.

"That sucks…" I muttered, feeling bad for the poor girl, who was basically forgotten.

Even I had some relevance in the tournament for being the official Hogwarts champion, in addition to being a minor, but she was someone who was being underestimated and forgotten.

'Bunch of prejudiced idiots' I snorted in contempt, knowing that Fleur was a great witch, even better than Krum, and that she was still being treated like a weak champion.

'Well, I guess I'm not the only one who has something to show and prove to them' I thought, placing the newspaper on the table and looking up, lost in thought.

'The day of the first task is very close, and I feel confident enough to face a mother dragon' I reflected.

'Harry has yet to find out about the challenge of the first task, and I have no doubt that Hagrid will also invite me to follow him into the Forbidden Forest to see the camp where the dragons are.'

And I thought about it for a few seconds, until I blinked as the realization hit me.

'Wait, four amazing adult dragons will be in the forbidden forest at some point and I didn't even think about going there to see them?!' I asked myself, internally cursing myself.

'This will be a unique opportunity to test my Beast Talk on powerful XXXXX class creatures, and if everything goes well this could still help me when I face one of them in the first task'

I've seen a baby dragon before, which was Azula, also known as Norberta in canon, but she was very young and my abilities weren't as powerful as they are now, so the connection I would have with an adult dragon might be different.

'Well then, it's decided. As soon as the dragons arrive in the Forbidden Forest I will go there to see them immediately to try to create a connection with them using my skills' I promised mentally, nodding to myself.

'Disregarding Azula who was a baby, these dragons will be the third XXXXX class creatures that I will see in person, having the chance to interact with them' I thought, frowning as I remembered the other two XXXXX class creatures races that I met.

One of these creatures were the acromantulas that live in the Forbidden Forest, and I encountered and even killed some of them when exploring the place, and I could have sympathy for many creatures, but these giant spiders only had aggressive thoughts, so I didn't feel bad about killing them.

In fact, one of my plans was to go to their nest and set the whole place on fire. Hagrid might feel sad about this, but these were evil creatures, so I considered it necessary to exterminate them, especially when I remember that they fought alongside Voldemort in the second blood war.

And about the other creature, well... our meeting wasn't very friendly either, but I guess that's to be expected when entering the home of a mad, angry ancient snake with a lust for blood.

But shaking my head I thought about dragons again, wondering if they would be as violent as the basilisk and acromantulas.

And thinking about the great creatures I couldn't help but get excited.

[POV – Luna]

In one of the many corridors of this large castle was a small, cheerful girl walking with a few bounces in her steps, humming a short song as she looked around at everything with curious, dreamy eyes.

'Oh, that shadow looks like a 4-headed Xiphstroot Chameleon... Or is it 5 now?' I wondered, tilting my head as I looked doubtfully at the shadow of one of the suits of armor that stood in the corridor.

But unable to find the answer to my question since I didn't know if Xiphstroot Chameleons had evolved to have more heads, I shrugged, continuing my walk towards the Great Hall.

"Hmm, what am I going to eat today?" I asked myself, with a finger on my chin, "I know, I think I'll eat chestnut pudding!" I nodded satisfied.

And already imagining that strangely cute and funny candy, I couldn't help but smile, humming even more happily as I hurried to meet my friends.

'Hehe... Friends...' I thought, happy just thinking about this word.

"Um, excuse me?" I heard someone say, taking me out of my thoughts, which shouldn't be possible since no one can enter their own thoughts... Of course, unless they invented a spell for that.

'Ethan could come up with that spell' I thought, looking straight ahead with a slightly affectionate look, feeling my heart beat faster.

However, I couldn't think much about it, as the person who had called me spoke to me again.

"Hmm, you are friends with Ethan Night, right?" the person with a feminine voice asked.

And turning around, I saw that walking towards me was the blonde girl, the French school champion who spent the whole time staring at Ethan.

And pursing my lips I felt a feeling of irritation rising in me, and it wasn't the first time I felt like this seeing her, but I didn't know the reason for this feeling.

'Strange, I'm wearing my protection amulet against the Wrackspurt' I frowned, looking down and seeing that I was wearing my prune leaf necklace.

But shaking my head I looked back at the girl in front of me, "Hmm, yes... I'm a friend of Ethan Night's" I replied.

And I could see the girl relax in front of me, smiling slightly at me.

"Great" she said, before extending her hand to me, "I'm Fleur Delacour, from Beauxbatons."

"Hmm, I'm Luna Lovegood, from Hogwarts" I held her hand, also introducing myself.

"Well, since you're friends with Ethan, then do you know where he might be? I looked for him in the Great Hall and throughout the castle but it's very big here, so it's been difficult to find him" she asked as we finished shaking hands.

And knowing that she was looking for Ethan made me frown, but shaking my head I answered her, "No, I don't know where he is... But Ethan is probably in some abandoned room testing his spells."

He could also be in the library, the Forbidden Forest or the Kitchens, since it was breakfast time, but for some reason I didn't want to tell her that.

"Oh" she blurted out, a little disappointed, "In that case then I guess I'll have to continue my search for him... Thank you for helping me and it was a pleasure to meet you Miss Lovegood," she said, giving me a slightly crestfallen smile.

And after saying that she turned around, deciding to continue her search for Ethan.

And seeing Fleur Delacour turning to leave I felt a sense of apprehension, and before I could think my mouth moved on its own.

"What do you want with him?" I asked hastily, not realizing that I sounded a little ruder than I intended.

"Huh?" and hearing my question she looked at me confused, blinking slightly, "Oh... Well..." she started to say, looking down while biting her lip.

And seeing this I became even more suspicious, as it was obvious that she didn't want to tell me why she was looking for my black-haired friend with mesmerizing, beautiful and attractive amber eyes.

'Beautiful and attractive?' I asked myself, blushing slightly at the thought.

"I... I just want to talk to him" Miss Delacour responded after a while.

But for some reason I couldn't trust her.

And under my suspicious gaze she began to shift uncomfortably.

"Well, thanks again for your help, but I need to go," she said, waving at me slowly as she turned back around.

And this time I didn't stop her, and watching the French student leave I kept looking at her back, feeling a nervousness growing in me, and my Lovegood instincts were warning me that I should be careful with her.

"Hmm... I'm going to find out what she wants with my Ethan" I murmured, narrowing my eyes, unaware of the words that came out of my mouth.

End.
