Sup! Here's the new chapter!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Studying the stone was... much easier said than done.

The stone, oddly enough, did not have the magical signature of any magical item, be it an ingredient, some part of the body of some magical animal like in wands, or any other kind of thing, which is soooo weird, and for those who didn't understand, I'll explain better.

Every magic item created from other magic items always ends up with a small remnant of the original items, or ingredients to be more precise.

Only, for some reason, the stone doesn't have any of those remnants, which can only mean two things. One is that the stone was made using just one item, which by the way would be highly unlikely, and two, that the stone somehow managed to completely absorb its ingredients, thus making all the items end up becoming one.

I'm leaning more towards the latter, however I know how difficult it is for a certain item's magic to merge with another item's magic, and if the stone has been made with many items which is the logical thing to think about, then this fusion was even more amazing, as it wasn't two or three items that merged, but much more.

'Flamel really deserves to be called 'The Alchemist'. There probably hasn't been or ever will be any wizard who can compare to him in that regard' I thought impressed.

'Sigh... But now this stone has become even more useless to me' I thought looking at the stone with a look of disappointment, 'At least I can add in my achievements 'Getting hold of the Philosopher's Stone' hehe'

'Well, if the stone is no longer of any use to me then I can start the plan to return it to the Flamels... But how do I do that?' with that I started to think of a good way to get in touch with the Flamels.

The difficulty of contacting the Flamels is great, and for many reasons.

I don't know where the Flamels live, so it's going to be hard to send them a letter. They are the two oldest people alive in the wizarding world, as well as being very famous, so they will probably be too busy to respond to any form of contact. And most of all, I don't even know what to say to them.

I can't send a letter saying 'Hi, I'm a Ravenclaw boy who's in his second year in Hogwarts, and I managed to steal the stone you asked the Headmaster to keep, and now I wanted to send it back to you. Please, send a reply as soon as possible'.

Pfff, As if...

'I wish there was a way to get my letter delivered to them, preferably in a way that gets their attention' I muttered, 'Maybe I'll make the letter suddenly appear in front of him in a burst of fire, hehe' I thought amused.

...

...

...

...

"Fuck, How an idiot and a genius I am" I muttered, banging my forehead on the table, "I know a way to get my letter delivered to them, and in a flashy way to top it off!"

Of all the ideas that came to my mind, this was the simplest and most practical, but also the most unusual, and you want to know what this idea is? Well, the big solution I've found to my problem is to simply ask Fawkes to take my letter to the Flamels.

Fawkes is a phoenix, which means she can Apparate anywhere, regardless of whether that place has an anti-wraith ward or not. Best of all, the Flamels know Fawkes, which means they won't find her appearance suspicious.

The only problem this plan could have is the fact that I didn't know if I would be able to convince Fawkes to help me, but I felt confident that I could use my Beast Talk to talk to him, and if that didn't work I could use a little bribe... I mean, a little persuasion to convince him.

'Now I just need to think of the best time to call Fawkes' I thought, 'I don't know if he would answer my call here at home, and I'm also not sure if it would be the best choice for Fawkes to come here...'

'Well, in that case I think the best time to try to talk to Fawkes is when I'm at school, so he'll be around to hear the call and he'll be in a known and safe place'

'With the problem of how to deliver the letter to the Flamels partially resolved, now I just need to think about what will be the contents of the letter I'm going to send them' at that moment I started tapping the pen on my chin, thinking about the best way to tell two 600-year-old semi-immortal wizards that I had their most accurate item in my possession.

"Well, I think the best way to say that to them is to tell a half truth" I said to myself, "Even because what the eyes don't see or don't know, the heart doesn't feel"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Phew...Finally finished," I said, looking at the finished letter I'd written to the Flamels.

I didn't write much in the letter, just a summary of how and why I have the stone, obviously omitting the parts that would commit me, although there weren't many.

I wrote about how I by sheer coincidence found out that the stone was being kept at the school, and that someone was trying to steal it, which is why I decided to "steal" the stone first, so that when the thief went to steal the stone, he would just find nothing there.

I also wrote about the fact that I didn't want the stone, and that I wanted to give it back to them, which is why I wrote the letter.

Basically everything I wrote in the letter is true, so I won't feel guilty or worried if they find out I lied, because I didn't.

With the letter finished and sealed, I was able to cross one of the to-do's off my list, and now I just have to worry about whether Fawkes will help me get the letter to them.

Knowing that I wouldn't find out the answer until classes started, I decided to start working on my other projects.

"Now that I remember, I still have to write and publish the next books of the two sagas I'm writing," I muttered to myself.

My books have now gained a lot of fans all over England and Europe, and impressively in some other parts of the world, and thanks to that people have started trying to find out who the writer of these books is.

The books are under the name Night, so people don't know exactly who wrote them. I didn't put my name because I'm not really keen on being a recognized writer, at least not yet, so I talked to my parents and we decided to leave Night as the author's name, because in case something went wrong, we could say that my father or mother were the authors.

Maybe at some point in the future I'll reveal to the Muggle world that I'm the author, but until then I'd rather be able to continue walking down the street undisturbed by fans.

"Hmm, do I have any fans in the wizarding world?" I wondered, and unbeknownst to me, in a house in Scotland a certain Transfiguration teacher sneezed.

"Well, maybe I can start publishing the books on the wizarding side of the world too, that way I'd have more money for my projects and some fame that would allow me to have some influence, and if Lockhart did it, why couldn't I?" I said to myself.

"But for that I'm going to need someone who knows the laws and rights in the wizarding world well, since I can't ask my mother to help me as a lawyer like she does in the muggle world... But who could be a good wizarding lawyer?" I wondered with my hand on my chin.

"Well I guess 'looking for a good wizarding lawyer' is one more thing to add to my list"

End.

(End AN: I'm sorry I didn't publish any chapters this week, but I was feeling down. I also had some personal issues going on, but now it's all sorted out.

I'll go back to publishing the chapters normally... Or as normally as my messy schedule allows, hehe.

Well, so here are the chapters!)
