Chapter 7: Mate i

She couldn't believe her eyes.

"No! No!! He can't be." she whispered to her wolf. This was really an unpleasant situation for her and she wasn't willing to accept it.

Seeing how devastated she looked, he couldn't help but smile. This was his pleasure. He thought and moved closer to her and stopped in his step.

"Why are you awake by this time? I know you want to ruin my day, but guess what, it will never work," he said to her with a smirk but Emily couldn't really hear a thing and all she could see at that moment was her connection with Alpha Thomas.

"You are my mate Alpha!" she whispered after some time and he tried to grab what she was saying. Seeing her expression, he looked down at his best and realized what was going on between the both of them.

He froze as anger brewed inside of him.

Why was it manifesting? What does that mean? He thought as he tried to get what was going on between him and Emily.

He has always known it at least clearly for a while but that was the last thing he would be willing to do.

He walked towards her and grabbed her chin as he tried to kiss her. Feeling his touch, her body system changed for the first time ever and she had the urge to let him have her all to himself as she moved closer to him with her eyes closed. He lifted her up holding her thigh and her wolf felt excited. When she thought she was in for fun, she saw herself being thrown so hard that she landed on the floor.

Hitting her head on a cupboard close to her, she couldn't help but hiss in pain as she suppressed the incoming headache.

Almost coughing out blood, she managed to stay sane and slowly looked up in disappointment.

How did I deserve this? Why would you do this you are my mate.

You really wanted to have me?

Why then were you shivering when I made an attempt to touch to the night before? Why were you shivering?

Weren't you trying so hard to be virtuous?

"I...i. What's going on? I never signed for this." she said as she tried to stand up but he pushed her again to fall on the floor. I know you hate me but please I want to talk to you. This is serious!" she said making her tone firm.

Stella had just finished what she was doing on the other side of the house and made sure everywhere was so fine and clean so she decided to come to the kitchen to check on her friend because she knew she was the one with the responsibility of handling the foods the guests will eat.

As she walked towards the food and was about to enter, she sighted the scene and couldn't help but hide so she wouldn't be seen, but hoping all was well.

Why was he holding her that way? She asked herself as she turned around to ensure no one was looking at her.

"I know you don't like me. Please let me stand by back hurt." Emily was pleased as she was being suppressed to remain on the hard floor. Soon, he stood up and her room to stand up but that was because he was tired of being there and not because of her. Emily stood up immediately as she tried to clean the tears that were already falling from her eyes. She wanted to be the most humble to Alpha Thomas at the moment especially since she just discovered he was her mate.

After standing, she walked towards him and hugged him but then he pushed her again but this time, she was able to protect herself.

"Why are you doing this mate?" she asked him.

"Don't you dare call me your mate!!! You are not just being so desperate, you are so fooling to think I fancy you," he said to her and she froze. It felt like a stab to her chest as she struggled not to cry.

"You should be happy and we should be getting mated. What do you intend to do with what the moon goddess has planned for us," she asked him and he laughed.

"I REJECT THIS MATE BOND!!!" he said firmly.

Emily felt like so many arrows that were targeted at her successfully got to her and pierced through her heart. Pained, she started backward as she tried to heal from this.

"I can't believe you. How could you dare do this to me?" she asked him.

"I will reject you over and over again don't play with me," he replied to her, his ego brewing higher than usual.

He looked at her and saw how helpless and hopeless she looked and this satisfied his ego. For the first time, he felt like he had defeated her.

Emily looked at his expression and froze as she thought of what he was probably thinking. She imagined what she looked like at the moment and decided to save herself some proof and face as she struggled to keep her tears. She knew she was pained and she would cry but she didn't intend to do it to his face.

Taking a deep breath, she suppressed all of her feelings and looked at him.

"Are you sure this is what you want?" she asked him with an attitude and he froze as his consciousness came back to her feelings.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"Because I don't mind granting you your wish. I wouldn't even want to be mated to an Alpha as mean as you. I don't want you either." she said to him and he laughed.

"Haha, you don't seem like you will ever learn right? This filthy attitude is the reason I don't want to be associated with you. Do you even know what it feels like to be rejected by an Alpha? Especially an alpha like me. You could be sent out of here. You could even..."

"I had rather be a rogue." she helped complete his sentences.

"I know how you felt just now with my rejection. I could do more to make you feel worse and I know you are so desperate for love that you wouldn't dare accept it and would rather die feeling the pain.

Emily looked at her hand and saw the red connection between her and Alpha Thomas. The sign at his hand was already faint while the one at her hand burned in fury and all the pain went straight to her heart.

"I ACCEPT YOUR REJECTION!!!" she said to him and the fury bond between them cut off immediately as she held her chest, feeling the freedom she never had but this time, it was replaced with a deep feeling of loneliness.

Alpha Thomas felt the same as he staggered back in shock refusing to accept how it felt.

"How dare you?" he grabbed her by the collar and said to her but she didn't care. He wanted it that way.

Alpha Thomas couldn't believe that Emily could ever be as strong as this and it toyed with his ego big time as he almost strangled her to death.

Tears filled Emily's eyes as she tried to control how she felt at that moment. "You are so mean. I am so happy I never got to accept such a useless matebond," she said and in the next minutes, she saw herself on the floor again and she couldn't help but accept how she felt and started crying so deeply.

Alpha Thomas felt the hatred he had for her increased in multiple folds and Emily received a hard slap from him. Very much unexpectedly and she couldn't help but widen her eyes in shock as the tears poured down.

Alpha Thomas called some of his guards through the mind link.

"I will make you regret ever having dignity," he promised her and she wondered what it was he wanted to do to her as she sat up and looked around like there was something in the kitchen that couldn't spare her. Feat grew inside of her heart and she couldn't help but curl up on the floor as she covered her face and cried.

Stella felt tears well up in her eyes as she wondered what it was that Emily could be going through inside of her. Soon, she heard some footsteps that were coming in her direction and immediately, she hid and peeped.

Guards?

What are they doing? She thought as her heart started beating fast.

The guards got into the kitchen and stood as they awaited instruction from Alpha Thomas.

"I believe there is still much space for her in the dungeon. Take this rejected thing and have her thrown in the most uncomfortable cage right in my dungeon," he instructed and Emily was so shocked that her eyeballs looked like they would fall soon.
