A New World ch.1

Light's POV

Light slowly wakes up and hits his alarm clock. He groans not wanting to get up but knows he will have to. His door swings open and his bedroom light turns on, he covers himself up with a blanket to try and sleep but when he tries someone jumps on him.

"Come on your going to miss it!" A voice said excited about something.

"Liz am not going to miss anything." Light said.

"You are if you sleep all day." Liz said. Light groans and pulls the covers off him and looks at his sister Liz, short for Elisabeth.

"Alright fine but let me make breakfast first." Light said.

"Yea!" Liz said happily and gets off of Light and exits his room. Light looks up for a bit then finally decides to get up to make breakfast. Light gets dress and exits his room and heads downstairs, he enters the kitchen and sees a note on the fridge.

"Dear Light and Elisabeth, we are gone at work for a meeting again we don't know when we will get back so just make yourselves dinner, love mom and dad."

*Out again at work, of course.* Light thought.

It didn't surprise him that they aren't here, the only time their here is on the weekends but they still don't hang out with us.

Light opens the fridge and grabs some eggs and a pot to fry the eggs. Light turns the burner on and cracks a few eggs and stir them for a bit then pours them into the pot.

Liz comes in smelling the eggs.

"Hmm yummy is there going to be toast too?" Liz asked.

"If we have some." Light said. Liz goes to check and finds only a few pieces of bread left.

"Looks like we can only have one each." Liz said.

"Alright grab a stool and put them in the toaster." Light said. He is almost with the eggs, Liz grabs a stool and puts the last pieces of bread into the toaster.

"There we go." Liz said.

"Nice, eggs are done now we just gotta wait." Light said. A couple minutes later and the toast is finished, Light grabs a couple of plates and set the eggs and toast on the plates then set them on the table.

Light and Liz sit at the table and begin eating.

"The release of SAO is coming out today." Liz said.

"What time?" Light asked.

"I don't know for sure, so we should check after breakfast." Liz said. Light nods and continues to eat for awhile then finishes all his eggs and toast. Liz finishes also and Light grabs her plate and his and set them in the dishwasher which is almost full.

Light walks in the living to find Liz sitting on the couch with the Tv on.

"Is this the news?" Light asked.

"Yea they are talking about the game now and looks like they have a count down for it." Liz said.

"Nice, what's the count down at?" Light asked curious.

"It's at 50secs." Liz said.

"Cool soon we be able to play it here soon." Light said.

"Yea." Liz said. Light sits next to her and waits 50secs to go by for the game to release. As he waits he does other stuff to make the house look clean.

He goes checks on Liz for time and she tells him 10secs lefts. He does more stuff to pass the time and comes to her.

"They said that the game is release now and lines are lined up to get the game." Liz said.

"Be lucky that I got two games all ready." Light said.

"Really!" Liz said excited.

"Yea, I had to do some convincing but I was able to get it." Light said.

"Awesome!" Liz said getting up and hugs Light.

"Alright alright, here you go." Light said smiling and hands her the game.

"Thanks big brother." Liz said smiling.

"Your welcome." Light said smiling back. Then they both head upstairs and enter their rooms but before they do they both wish each other good luck.

Light grabs his headset, it's been awhile for him since he last used the thing so he hopes that it still works.

Light puts it on his head and he lays on his bed the game is already in.

"Here goes nothing, link start." Light said and bright lights comes into view and fly past him then okay symbols appear and he hits all of them.

He never played the beta, his sister has be he hasn't so no pop up screen showed saying that and he enters the world and he is amaze.

"Wow." Light said impress. Then he feels a tap on his shoulder and he turns to find a lady.

"Hello." The lady said smiling.

"Um who are you?" Light asked.

"It's me silly Liz." Liz said smiling.

"Oh Liz hi." Light said smiling.

"Let's go I want to show you around." Liz said. Light nods and follows her into town and so begins the adventure of the two siblings.
