Sandy Shores Falling In love with Kiara

Kiara walked into the classroom, and I could not say she wasn't breathtaking, but talking to her would be a social suicide. She's the leader of the computer club, and I'm the football team captain. She's definitely outside of my social circle, but I just had to break the social ladder, because I was drawn to her beauty.

My feet nearly dragged themselves down the hallway. I am really glad this is my senior year, and then I'll be with the pack in Sandy Shores full time, well possibly. Right now, there's still an older generation of werewolves in charge of the forest. Alpha Kabir training us and gradually letting us join the pack. There could possibly be a few years before the new generation of wolves takes over. Dev and myself shouldn't have changed so early, but with the huge amounts of zombies present in Sandy Shores, it caused us to change before our time. So we're technically in the pack, but with benefits is the joke going around. We still get to go to school and do sports. Dev is in a rock band, and he plays the drums. He is so talented.

Dev, my homeboy, is homeschooled by the Alpha with help from his grandson Ajay. My parents would have rather seen me complete high school, since I was the school's football star. My father is having trouble accepting that after high school football is over for me, I must accept my place in the pack. Honestly, I'm ready for it. I love Kabir, Ajay is okay. He's a little bit arrogant and cocky for my liking, but I know one day he'll be Alpha and I have to deal with it.

I see Dyani walking towards me with her skin tight pants and crop top belly shirt. I notice every male student's eyes are watching her. Dyani could probably have anyone for her choosing, but for some reason, she picked me .

I smile, taking her hand, bringing them to my lips.

"I miss you."

"I know babe, sorry I got caught up last night."

"You say that everyday." I see the disappointment on her face.

I instantly feel bad. How am I going to juggle having a girlfriend, being in the pack, plus football practice? I have no time for Dyani.

We walk toward my locker, with her still at my side.

I harshly throw the books into my locker. Trying to maintain a C average to remain on the team has not been without difficulty.

"Maybe because you really don't like me any more."

I stop throwing books to glare at her.

"Seriously Dyani?" I grab her face gently with my hands. I know kissing wasn't allowed in school, but that never stops anyone.

I bring my lips to her, kissing her sweetly. She gets excited, sticking her tongue between my teeth.

"Not in school," I chuckle, pulling my lips away.

"Then when?"

I see everyone watching us, nosy peers.

"I'll text you this weekend."

She nods and I kiss her on the forehead.

I noticed my English professor walking by and gave me a look. Dyani and I both crack up laughing. I think any other student would be in trouble for that little action, but hey, everyone knows that we rely on me in the football game.

I make my way to the first class. Algebra. And this is always a class that jeopardizes my spot on the team.

My eyes see Kiara walk in. To not say she was breathtaking would be a lie, but me talking to her would be social suicide, well besides copying her homework. All the popular kids used losers like that. Seriously. She was the leader of the computer club, or the nerd club we call it. She was literally a genius, and yet nobody likes her. I mean, I think being beautiful and smart is a big positive.

Hell Dyani, couldn't even turn a computer on. I chuckle to myself over the thought.

Kiara takes her seat in front of me, and I gently tap her on the shoulder. She turns and looks at me with her cheeks turning red. I personally find her shyness adorable.

"Can I copy off your homework?"

She pushes her glasses up. "I don't know, we could get in trouble."

I smile. "What about if I owe you a favor?"

She smiles. I seriously think she's adorable.

"Okay." She passed me her paper."

"Thanks baby." She eyes me, shocked I called her baby. I don't flirt with her so I can copy off her homework. I actually find her attractive.
