Fair Trial (Chapter 6)

Hissori wakes up with a massive headache mouth tasting like blood and a sharp pain in his gut. What had happened? He turned to get up from bed when he realized, that wasn't possible he couldn't he was chained to the wall by chains so heavy and thick that they had to be meant for someone much stronger than him. But that wasn't the weirdest part that, he was in a completely different bed in a completely unfamiliar room, a squared room almost like a prison cell.

His mind completely blanks, "it's too early for this..."- Hissori "That's a problem for a not sleepy version of me to deal with."

"Wake up demon!" - prison guard

"Wake up now!!"- prison guard

"Uhm what is it? Can you see I'm sleeping?" -Hissori says confused at who had the audacity to annoy a guy who just wants to sleep.

They kicked him to the ground his chains scarring his forearms, ankles, and his neck

"Its time for your trial akuma NOW GET UP!" – prison guard

"Why do they keep calling me a demon?" Hissori thinks, but he figured he'd find out eventually so he didn't waste his words ad instead said; "fine..."

They took off his chains and escorted him out of the cell he looked at the soldiers they smelled of rum and piss, the usual smells, the weird thing about it was that they were wearing western gear. You could tell by the Byakko the white tigers crest on their armor so, why would his people imprison him

It was too much thinking for Hissori he didn't care but he wanted to get out of the situation fast.

He kept nodding off and his eyes were filled with sleepy sand but it looks like he's being dragged into a room filled with people and maybe those people were people he had seen before from his village all of them with a struck deadly gaze towards him like he was some kind of wanted criminal.

He looked up and what he thought was the emperor of the west. Emperor Kenmei holding a blunt gaze at him and Commander Benkei at his side looking at the ground.

The guards sat Hissori down on his knees chained to the ground

"ALL RISE COURT IS IN SESSION"- Guard

"I would like to thank all of you wonderful citizens for giving up your time to stand here in the court and help with the justice this demon will face."

"Welcome Young Hissori that is your name right boy…" -Emperor Kenmei

"Why… am I here...?" – Hissori said and felt himself getting weaker. He wasn't just tired this was worse.

"Well, we're here to help you it's all for you, you must understand that this is all for the greater good- Emperor Kenmei

"I don't see any good in imprisoning a child… and waking me up from a nap."- Hissori

"WATCH YOUR TONGUE AKUMA (demon)!! Reaching for his sword."- commander Benkei

"Commanders calm yourself it is fine. You must feel by now that you are getting weaker and weaker well it's the chains you are being tied by, they are stealing you Sei by this minute after all we had to take some minor precautions with you being a demon and all hahaha"- Emperor Kenmei

I'm a human, idiot- Hissori

Commander Benkei grits his teeth at the boy's rudeness

"Hahahah well it seems to look that way however, no human has awakened purple sei of a demon especially that potent I wonder… you may even be half human and half demon hmm... -Emperor Kenmei

"I'm no demon YOU GOT THAT!!" Hissori's voice echoes in the room.

Whispers spread amongst the citizens but Hissori heard them loud and clear

"Should we leave he might hurt us…"- random citizen

"He must die"-random citizen

"Kill him the akuma must die"

"Calm yourself now boy we can not simply overlook the fact that when you awakened your sei you injured over 50 cadets and made all the others pass out while also injuring a captain and a general." - Emperor Kenmei

His head pounded. It banged with headaches and flashbacks of him awakening his sei and he lusted! His lust for the cadets' sei it sparked, it was strong, to feed on their essence and to paint the training grounds with blood. He had felt nothing like it before and he didn't want to again.

"You must have lost your memory young one Byakko has blessed you to forget that treacherous day, but I will not be as kind…"

His body had given up he was passing out at that moment his last sense of hearing allowed him to hear these words from the Emperor.
