2 A Bad Day at School A Good Day at Home -Ch. 2

You wake up in a panicked state. "Just another nightmare," You says to yourself, "calm down y/n, calm down." The next day at school you fell asleep in your math class the sub didn't care your previous math teacher just died and you were stuck with this hag until there was a replacement. But the black eyed boy who sat behind you had different plans. The boy kicked you out of your seat. You fell, and you fell hard, on the cold floor. You felt a sharp pain in your hand and saw it was already bruising.

Travis tried to explain his foot 'slipped' but even the sub knew it was a lie and she grabbed Travis by the ear and was walked him to the principals office.

You and Sal were walking to lunch. When he noticed the ring you were wearing. Your dad gave it to you.

"Mrs. Packerton had a ring like that."

"It's probably just a coincidence right?" You asked Sal.

"Yeah but we'll deal with it after school."

"Okay Sally Face."

*****during lunch*****

"Hey loser!" Screeched Travis.

"I swear your voice is like nails on a chalkboard." You responded.

"You got me in trouble, "Travis said threateningly, "your life is over at 3."

Sal walks over, worry on his face.

"What do you want Travis?"

"I was just apologizing to y/n, that wasn't right of me to be so mean you know?"

"Yeah sure." Sal said ending the conversation.

Travis walks off when, "What did he really say y/n?"

"He was apologizing sally, really he was."

"Okay I believe you but if he does anything like that again Larry's going to kick his ass." You burst out laughing at this thinking of Larry hurting someone was goofy because he was always so nice to you. You knew he could but it was still a little funny.

You join up with the rest of the gang for lunch and Larry was SO pissed at Travis it took all your might to keep Larry in his seat.

"First Sal, now y/n how could someone be so mean to the nicest people?" Asked Ash.

"Really it's okay guys." You and Sal say at the same time. This made everyone smile or giggle.

*****last class period of the day*****

You, Larry, Todd and sally walk home together most of the time but Sal was helping Todd with a ghost situation in the boys bathroom, Larry was going to stay after for art club. No one was going to help you if Travis started trying pick a fight, no one who liked you could walk home with you. You got halfway to the Addison apartments before you got pulled into an alleyway you got a glimpse of Travis before he hit you and your vision went a little blurry. He dropped you to the ground and kicked your abdomen a couple times you stayed there covering your head and face until you feel him stop spit on you and walk away.

You get to the Apartments and all you can think about is a nice bag of peas on your eye. You reach your apartment and all you found was a note and a $20 bill.

"Hi, I hope you had a good day! I will not be back until tomorrow morning, I'm staying with Jakob! There is 5 dollars for food, and your bag is with Mrs. Rosenberg I had tea with her this morning I didn't want anyone to steal it so I gave it to her. Since it's Friday you can stay all night with one of your friends like Ashley!! You can even stay all night with Larry just keep Lisa in the room at all times and sleep on the couch.

Ever since you guys got robbed when you lived in Baltimore your not allowed to stay home alone, even if Mr. Addison has cameras. "I think mom just wants me to go have some fun." You think on your way down to see the depressed little old lady. You knock on the door and hear a old voice say "Come in dear it's unlocked."

"Your bag's over there y/n." She says not even looking up at you. She's looking at birds outside through the window.

"Thank you Ms. Rosenburg. I hope you have a good evening." She was acting weird and a little voice in your head told you she was going to be gone soon.

In your very blue denim bag there's a flashlight, lip bomb, some homework you forgot about, your flip phone, a little book of how and what to draw, a key card to the basement, your gray camera covered in stickers and a couple pictures of you and your best friends.

As soon as you step out of the elevator you see Lisa doing laundry she turns to you and gasps "oh my goodness what happened?" You explain everything as she cleans up and patch's up you face. She gives you some of her pjs to wear and she asks you to stay there tonight because your moms not going to be home. "Larry and Sal are almost home so you don't have to stay with this old lady for long."

"Your not old Lisa! The only reason I came down here was to see you."

"Aww your just the sweetest little thing!" She's says as the elevator door dings open. Larry sees you first and runs over examining your face. His hand on your jaw.

"What happened?!" Asked Sal and Larry, they look like little mother birds swarming you.

"It was nothing. I get to stay all night!! My mom's not home."

"Travis did this didn't he?!" Larry almost yells.

"Yeah but it's okay! Guys I'm fine really!" He pulls you in for a tight hug his big hands wrapping over you and his right one on the back of your head. You blush at the physical touch.

"What the fuck is wrong with him we need to report that asshole."

Sal stands there and when Larry brakes the hug up sally pulls you in and hugs you too but definitely not as long as Larry.

"I know how you feel y/n Travis is a bitch." Sal says comforting you.

*****You spend the rest of the evening listening the Sanity Falls, painting with Larry and Sal, spending all the money your mom gave you junk food, and smoking some French cigarettes that Larry 'found' in the treehouse.

Good thing it wasn't a school day because your head was pounding when you woke up. You ate breakfast with Lisa, Larry, and Sal and then you and Sal headed to your apartments to get a quick shower and get real ready for the day. Larry and Sal were heading to the arcade and Ashley, Todd and you were gonna have a quick study session and then join them.

Just as you were getting out of the shower your mom gets home.

"Y/N!!!" She yells "I have an announcement!!"

You walk out of the bathroom. "Me and Jakob are getting MARRIED!!!" She squeals, as she hugs you. You were happy for her Jakob is super nice. You congratulate her and are excited for the wedding already. You get dressed for the day and say goodbye as she picks up the phone and starts talking about the wedding with what you can presume to be your grandmother.
