13: Panic Attack.

Jason's P.O.V

I woke up with a killer headache and a broken nose. I looked around and then realized that it was Sally's bedroom. I could faintly smell her. I looked around on more time and saw a bunch of injured men on the floor groaning and not able to sit up.

Any nurse in duty, please come up to the Luna suite. There are injured people in here, I mind linked the pack.

I got up and followed the vanilla coffee like scent knowing that the men would be attended to. I followed the scent next door to Xavier's room. I growled lowly and then opened the door not even bothered by what I would see.

The bastard was already awake and was getting out of the bed that he had shared with my mate. I grabbed him and slammed him against the wall causing my mate to stir.

"How dare you? This was my one chance. My one chance ever and you frickin' blew it!" I yelled. "I don't know what she says, but I swear to you. Watch your step or else I will kill you."

"Woah, man chill," he said with a victorious smirk, "Listen. It was just lust nothing more. If she wants more, I would be glad to help. I'm sorry about the mark on her neck. It was just in the heat of the moment. I thought I loved her, but then realized it was just lust. She's a stupid girl who was on heat so-"

He didn't finish his sentence because I slammed him into the wall once again making me hear a satisfying crunch. My only regret was that he would heal fast. I began snarling in his face. I then heard a groan of pain and saw my mate waking up and the blanket was dangerously low on her chest. Just a little bit further and-

I couldn't finish my thoughts because out of nowhere Rafael took over, "Is this why you asked him to come and live with all of us? Huh? So you two could just show off your love infront of me. I get it, you love him, but did you really have to do this when you knew I was in the next room?" I realized what he was saying was the truth and I could also hear he voice was strained.

"I don't know what happened yesterday. I was burning and every time someone touched me I felt the heat go for that moment only and... I don't know. I didn't mean to hurt you," she said with tears in her eyes. Her innocence was so evident I almost melted before her.

"You could have chosen me, but no. You kicked me in the face and I had a broken nose and woke up in my mate's room which was filled with a bunch of injured guys and you weren't there," Rafael spoke up again, but his voice cracked at the last word, "I don't know why, but I love you. For some weird f****d up reason."

"Never swear in my presence again or I'll kick you," she looked so hilarious with the serious expression on her face. But no one is laughing.

"Whatever." I shoved Xavier against the wall again, "You can wipe that smile off your face. I get it she's yours. You marked her and completed the mating process and now she's gone. She may be your mate but she is still mine." I lost control of my emotions and tears slowly pooled in my eyes, "Travis. Jason Travis. If you're going to reject me do it now."

Xavier spoke up with a disgusting smirk, "Go on. Reject him. That way he'll get out of my room. And then we'll have a third round."

What? How does that even happen? "No" I turned to her with a dumbfounded expression at the same time Xavier did. "I didn't even mean for this to happen. I just needed to cool down." She pointed between Xavier and herself and then started blushing lightly. "Both of you turn around."

I was confused, but then understood when I saw the way she was clutching her blanket. Xavier didn't budge and I growled lowly, "What? I already had a good look. There is nothing about her that I don't know about,"

I wanted to kill him with Vervain and Silver, but for Sally's sake I covered his eyes and turned away again. But not before glancing at her.

It should have been us in that bed. Not this crap baby! Rafael yelled in my head giving me a slight migraine though I agreed fully.

"Jason let's go," I nodded lightly after looking at her clothes. A skirt and a crop top had not helped the situation at all yesterday. I dropped Xavier who still wasn't wearing anything.

"It was fun while it lasted, cupcake." He said and I couldn't restrain it anymore. I turned around and punched him hard enough to break his nose and go unconscious.

We were walking in the backyard in silence as we went over to the pond and she sat on a stone next to it and stared at the water. I had never seen something so innocent in my life.

After a while she looked up at me an she had lightly teared eyes. "Are you really my mate?" she asked in a small voice. It was hard to believe that she was the same person who almost killed a room filled with mate thirsty wolves.

"Yes," I said simply.

"I'm so sorry I hurt you," she broke into tears and I was shocked. She was beautiful even when she cried. "I was just so hot and tired and I was about to hit him but then..." her mind was like an open book and I shivered at the memories of what happened.

"I should have been nicer to you though. You're special and you deserve to be treated that way. I don't know what you did but I'm falling in love with you," I said honestly. It wasn't lust. Just plain love.

She smiled at me and then walked up to me and kissed me lightly on my lips. If I couldn't read her mind I would have thought she was a thot on a mission.

I had forgot to block and she frowned then she laughed, "Don't worry, I would have thought that too. I'm just determined on finding the right one." I wanted to hug her, but refrained.

Oh my gosh, how could I forget? She was thinking. I wanted to know what she was thinking so I didn't tell her to block. Isn't it my birthday? It is and I'm eighteen now. I feel like such a big girl. She then imagined herself 10 feet tall in a fat suit and a party hat riding on a ferari not in, on.

I couldn't help but laugh and we both burst out into laughter. "Happy birthday." I kissed her nose and she smiled the that smile faded. Her hair was slowly turning white and her eyes became a very pale blue as she started to fall. I caught her in time as she closed her eyes.

I didn't know whether to take her to the doctors because this time her hair was white, but last time she was happier than usual when she woke up.

After just watching her for some time I noticed her mark start to fade and she looked so peaceful as her neck had no remembrance of that mark. And the scent of Xavier had disappeared.

I was smiling at her when there was the snap of a twig and I realized that there were police men standing a few feet away from me. "Hello?" I said unsure. I didn't want to jump to conclusions like last time so when I noticed that they were only two armed with iron I sighed in relief.

"We're looking for Sally Stars. Have you see her?" what did they want from her.

"Nope." I said shrugging. They looked down at Sally and then at me.

"She okay?" the other asked. I explained that she was like that sometimes and that she was pregnant and this happened a lot more often than I would like to admit.

They walked away talking about how weird it was for both of us to be in the forest. Alone. I realized that her hair color was coming back and I ran next to her still thinking about what had just happened.

Sally, what have you done?

(Sally's P.O.V)

"Hey, Moon," I greeted cheerfully as I saw her in the same white room and didn't bother to get up from my laying down position. Moon laughed at my laziness and joined me on the side.

"How was your first heat?" she asked. I knew she knew what happened and I turned and groaned into the fluffy white pillow.

"Well I was bit and you know everything else," I said waving my hand in the air without removing my face from the pillow, "I have a question," I stated as I finally got off the comfy pillow. "How to I remove this and get someone else's mark." I pointed at the bit on my neck which was still painful.

"Well that's easy," Moon began rubbing her hands together and then pointed at the mark on my neck which began to disappear. "There now done!" she cheered and I looked in a nearby floor length mirror. It was gone.

"Thank you," I hugged and I felt as if every second that I was with and without her made me love her more. We talked for a few minutes about everything and nothing and then Moon said that I had to go now.

"If I want to talk to you how do I come here?" I asked.

"Just block everyone out and then say my name in your mind three times," she said shrugging.

"I'll see you soon." I said hugging her as I felt myself wake up.

"Sally!" I sat up straight. Why do I keep waking up like that?

"What?" I asked feeling sad that I wasn't there anymore. I need to go see the pack doctor about this abortion.

"Let's go to the pack doctor now and I'll tell you what on the way," he said. As we began walking he looked so serious it made me uncomfortable. "Police were looking for you." He said. And then explained how I had changed while I was 'asleep'.

"I am a murderer. I work for an organization and they pay me. Douglas is the head of it all, but he went AWOL so I haven't killed anyone in quite some time.
