Life had always been an uphill battle for Doyun. Abandoned by his parents at a tender age, he was left in the care of his grandmother, a fact that garnered sympathetic whispers from others. But Doyun knew the bitter truth behind their departure.
As if their abandonment wasn't enough, high school brought a new torment. A group of menacing men descended upon him, bearing news that shattered his already fragile world. His parents, it seemed, had amassed an insurmountable debt, and now the burden fell squarely on his shoulders. They gave him an ultimatum: repay the debt or watch his beloved grandmother perish.
Facing such a grim choice, Doyun had little option but to choose the former. Thus began his relentless pursuit of financial stability, working tirelessly to fend off the looming threat that hung over his family. Each day was a battle against adversity, a struggle to keep his grandmother safe and secure amidst the chaos of debt and despair.
As Doyun navigated the treacherous waters of adulthood, his life had morphed into a chaotic whirlwind of troubles. With debts mounting and creditors knocking at his door, he found himself constantly on the run, evading the clutches of those he owed. But amidst the relentless pursuit of financial survival, a bizarre and unexpected addition to his troubles emerged.
A menacing sea creature, with eyes as cold as the depths it hailed from, now joined the ranks of Doyun's pursuers. Bewildered and alarmed, Doyun couldn't comprehend why such a creature would be after him, adding yet another layer of perplexity to his already tumultuous existence.
Struggling to keep afloat amidst the myriad challenges, Doyun found himself dodging not only the government and his creditors but also this enigmatic aquatic foe. And if that wasn't enough, there was the lingering presence of a clingy human—or was it something more sinister masquerading as human—that refused to leave him be.
Caught in a maelstrom of troubles, Doyun's life had become a precarious balancing act, where every move he made could tip the scales in favor of his survival or plunge him deeper into the abyss of his woes.

“You can’t die, n-no y-you can’t die, I said he can’t die. What gives you the right to die? I haven’t said sorry yet, I haven’t told you how I feel yet. I am a fool, a coward, a heartless, a bad person, yet you still stayed by my side. Even when you knew I was using you and playing you, you still stayed. I don’t deserve you, you should’ve hated me but you didn’t. I ran away to scared to fight for you but you always found me and protected me I’m sorry please don’t leave me you can’t die without me”
