1 Prologue

Chapter: 01

Third-person pov:

Somewhere on the planet Earth, the year 2025. We can see a man in full black cloth and helmet. That hides his body from head to toe. Is raiding a motorbike at high speed. And look some other motorbike and car are chasing him down the road. If you look carefully you would discover that all the people. That is chasing him has some kind of logo on their back of their cloth. It seems they are from some kind of organization or gang.

The man was able to escape from those gang members by jumping down on the river. Up from a bridge and using the swear system to escape in the city.

After a lot of searching the gang members then left unable to find him.

Now let's see who is that man and why he ware chased by those gang members.

Inside an apartment building, we can see that man was typing something on his laptop. By looking closely it seems to be a military mission report of some sort. Let's see what is it about.

It seems he is a spy and an assassin. Sent here by the world peace congress to spy on and assassinate an underground mafia boss. And it seems he succeeded in his mission. And from the report, it seems his name is Luis Smith. After finishing his report with all the necessary documents and information he gathered. He encrypted it and sent it to his higher-ups with a military secret communication line. And after he has done that. he is now surfing the internet. Let's see what is he looking for. Must be something very important because he still hasn't changed his clothes yet. Only took off his helmet after coming to his room.

Wtf is he for real. Here I thought I would be able to peek inside some national secret or something similar. But no, what he doing is reading some fanfic, night novel, watching some old anime cut seen. Like from Naruto, Dragon ball, etc. then order some otaku stuff online. And it's been almost five hours. I have been waiting for something interesting to happen. (not because I also forgot about the time or anything.)

Ok, it seems he done with the otaku stuff for now. And going outside for something. Let's see what unfortunate fate awaits him.

Mc's POV:

I was on this two-week log mission and missed reading some of my favorite fanfic and light novel. And I was also drained of my otaku energy so after finishing my report. I start to read all the chapters I missed. And watched some cut seen of my favorite anime to recharge myself with otaku energy. For the last five hours. But it's not enough I need to recharge more. But now I am hungry so time to go and buy some food before continuing.

So I got out of the apartment and start to walk on the road. It was already nighttime. I went to a nearby fast food store and bought a sub and a cola. I then went to a nearby park to sit down and eat. In the middle of my meal, I heard the sound of something flying at a high speed. So I looked up to see what it is. And when I saw what it was I am horrified and dumbfounded at the same time. So I wasn't able to move or even if I could it was pointless as it was big and moving fast toward my position. And I got crushed to death by that object. Without even able to utter a single word.

And what it was you might ask. It was a freaking frying pan. And no way a human can have a frying pan this big. And to how I am still able to think about this after death. Well, it feels a bit cliche to say the list. I am now in a completely white room. Without even a single drain of dust present here. And I don't seem to have a body or to be precise there is nothing it feels like I am here at the same time I am not. It's a weird feeling. And I have no idea how I can see my surroundings. And also it seems I don't have any sense of time either. So I don't know how long I was here.

Then suddenly two people come inside the room. I have no idea how. One is a handsome man and another is a beautiful woman. And when I say handsome and beautiful to describe them. In reality, I can't find any other word to describe it. They are indescribably handsome and beautiful. So I was just mesmerized by their looks. And no there is no other feeling there it was pure admiration of their beauty.

After who knows how long I was in a dazed-like state. The man starts to speak with an apologetic tone which woke me up from my daze.

"Hello there," said the man.

"Ah, sorry. I am Luis Smith sir. Who are you if I may ask." I said awkwardly.

"Nice name you have. We are what you people call is gods" he replied

"Oh, so I really died. It was weird to die crushing under a giant frying pan like that." I said a little sad and embarrassed about it.

But for some reason, the goddess is looking nervous and embarrassed and I am really curious to know why. And then something clicked in my mind. Maybe it was her who throw to pan at me. But why tho.

"Ah hahaha sorry about that. It was an accident. That shouldn't have happened. How do I say this? You see I was drinking some new heavenly liquor. That the goddess of alcohol made and it was really strong. So I got drunk and accidentally destroyed the garden that she made as her hobby. And she got angry and threw a pan at me but it missed and dropped on top of you. And as it wasn't the time for your death. So we summoned you here to grant you a second chance. To a world of your choice and also grant some abilities to make your life easier." he then explained being a little embarrassed. And also seems to be too desperate to send me to a new life. My spy and otaku sense is tingling at an alarming rate. There's something fishy with his behavior I have to make the best use of it.

"Can I decline and chose to go to heaven instead. I have already lived for 23 years. And going to a different world seems like too much work with unknown factors." I said to test my theory and see how desperate he is and why. And ho, would you look their faces. It almost like they are having a panic attack.

Then he composed himself enough to talk like normal pretty quickly and start to talk.

"You can but it would be a lot of trouble to do that. You have to wait for a long time to finish the process. Because it was not your time yet. And it would be a lot easier if you chose to reborn. And you don't have to worry about unknown factors. As you can choose any of those fantasy worlds you read or watch in your previous life. And have some cheat abilities to help your journey. So you can get strong fast." god replied

But looking at my doubting look the goddess starts to add more offers to the table. And that exactly what I was looking for.

"You can ask for as many wishes you want if it's not too unreasonable then we will grant them for you. After all, it was my fault you died so young" while looking at me hopefully.

There is no way I am going to refuse something so generous as this offer.

"Sorry I didn't want to cause you any trouble. If it's like that then I would gladly accept both of yours offer." I said with a smile. To which they leave a sigh of relief.
