3 Meting with Asura

Chapter: 03

"Ah... my head hurts. and where am I? It looks like an old hospital room. Why the hell am I in the hospital?" Luis or now should be Naruto.

After thinking this far my headache starts to increase to an unbearable level. Then I start to get some memory that isn't mine. But it's from the previous owner of this body which is obviously Naruto. And after some time I lose my consciousness.

When I again wake up Naruto's memory has completely merged with mine. And from that memory is making me want to puke from anger. But there is some other emotion from the previous Naruto it seems. There is anger, sadness, loneliness, longing for recognition, and acceptance. Wanting to prove oneself. And there is also hatred but it's not directed at the villagers rathe to his loneliness and the look of the people.

I am baffled by this how can he not hate the village and its people. And how can he remain sain after seafaring this much? Man plot armor is OP. But it seems there are also some good memories about some people. Like Eruka, Teuchi, Ayame, and 3rd Hokage. He also has some friends like Shikamaru, Choji, Kiba. Then there Sasuke who is in the same condition as him. So Naruto wanted to become his friend. But couldn't because of his personality and now there is some sort of rivalry between them. There is also Sakura but seems like he was confused about her. What he felt for her is not love. It more like he wanted to get recognized by her. Because she was the only one in his generation who openly insulted him. So he thought if he can make her love him she will recognize him. How the hell he came up with this calculation it's beyond me.

But from all this, I am sure it's not just his memory that merged with mine. But also his soul as well.

It seems nighttime after looking out the window. That means I have quite a few hours in hand before someone comes to visit me here. So let's see what should I do first?

I will check out Kuruma now and see if I can befriend him. There is also asura's soul. I should see if I can do anything with it.

So in order to enter my mindscape, I start to meditate. After some trial and error, I was able to get there.

It was like a swear system with lots of corridors and ankle-length water. There are lots of pipes going everywhere. After looking around a bit. I used my magic skills to search for asura's soul pis first. And it didn't take long to sense it. So I start to walk toward its location. And reached a small room. There I found the soul of asura floating in the air doing nothing. It didn't move or talk after I got there. It only sending a small amount of its Chakra towards my body. And I can feel there is a link between us. Other than this there is nothing more. So I tried to touch it but I couldn't. Then I tried to send a little bit of my chakra to him. And after doing that I can feel our connection was getting stronger. Then I concentrated on the link and I am transferred to an open grass field with a flowing river. And a wooden house near the river bank. When I approach the house the door opened. And Asura comes out of it and gives me a toothy smile like an idiot.

"Hehe… I didn't expect you to able to come here. How did you find me?" Asura asked.

"Hello, my name is naruto. And where is this place? And who are you? I was just meditating. Then I was able to enter my mindscape. Then I sensed some other Chakra. And followed it when I saw another soul in a room that looks like you. And I also sensed some kind of connection there so when I concentrated on it I found myself here." I asked and answered acting fidgeting ignorance.

"Oh. that is curious indeed. Naruto is a nice name. My name is asura. The second son of the sage of six paths. Well, let us go inside then we can talk more." Asura introduced himself and star to walk inside.

I then followed him into the house. He leads us to a simple room that is not that big. But it was clean. It has only a low table in the center and some tea ceremony equipment. He then sits on the floor facing me in front of the table then gestured me to sit opposite him. And start to brew some tea. After brewing is complete he pours tea in two teacups and offers me one. Then we start to talk again.

"Ok then, to start I don't know how you came here. It shouldn't have been like this. The only thing I can think of is the connection between us is strong. And if you ask why we have this connection or why is my soul is inside you. It is simply because you are my reincarnation." Asura said.

"What do you mean I am your reincarnation. If it was so how can there be two different souls or something? Or are you planning to take over my body? " I asked acting confused and on guard.

"Hahaha…. No. you got the wrong idea. When I said reincarnation I didn't mean it like when someone dies and gets reborn. There is a difference between them. And I can't take over your body. So you don't have to worry about that. It just means you and I have a similar fate. But you also have a choice. Which can affect the fate and the outcome." Asura assured me.

"I don't understand what you mean. Can you explain please?" I asked still acting ignorance.

"I can but to explain I have to tell you about the history and my past," Asura said.

"Ok, I am listening," I said Interested in the history from his perspective.

Then he starts to tell me the history of his past. How he and his brother Indra started to fight. And how their fight continued even after their death. His wish to break this fate and bring peace to this world.

"... now that you are here. I think you might be able to break this cycle of fate. So please try to find a way to stop it. I will give you my chakra. So you would be able to use all my ability and have the sage body." Asura finished with a request.

"Thank you for putting your trust in me. I promise I will try my best." I said to apes him.

"Ok then, it seems it's time for you to go," Asura said and hold his fist in front of me to fistbump.

When we fistbump I could sense his chakra flowing from his fist to mine and gathering in my chakra coil. It was a lot of chakras. But I already have all the elements and unlimited chakra. But maybe the sage body would be interesting. Then I am transferred back to my mindscape.

It's time to meet nine-tail.
