-Kara-

"What do you think Erwin wants anyway?" Krista asks

"He probably wants details about the Titans or something"

We make our way back to camp where we found Odin laying on his back

"Hey boy" I pat his belly

"HahhHaahh" he pants

"Aww whos a good boy" Krista starts playing with him as I head into Erwins tent where I found Eren, Armin, Mikasa and my squad at a table

"Hey cap" I lean on Erwin's shoulder

"Hey Kara" Petra waves

"It's Commander" Eld corrects

"Yeah, whatever. Way to shove me under the bus."

"I can't afford to lose my title. Not after all of this has come to light."

"Anyways I need you to explain to me the abilities of these Titans" Erwin says

"Oh… well I don't remember much, but all there was with the armored Titan was his armor"

"Then how'd you manage to drop him to his knees?" Oluo asks

"His joints. I noticed the only place he didn't have armor was there since he wouldn't be able to maneuver much if he was completely covered in armor"

"Hey, yeah. Eighth century knights used to have gaps in their armor so they can move around" Armin says

"Hmm, yeah. I guess so" I think

"What about the female Titan?" Gunther asks

"She wasn't as strong but was faster and seemed to know what she was doing when it came to combat, but she was able to harden her skin.. it was like an odd form of hardening."

"Wh-what do you mean?" Eren asks

"Oh… well" I hold my hand out "like this" I focus my strength and energy in my palm before my forearm hardened just like her nape did

"Whoa since when can you do that?" Petra asks as they examine my arm

"5 years ago I managed to dig my arm into the wall to pull myself up, but I haven't been able to make it nearly as hard since" I smack the wall with my palm causing the crystal around my arm to shatter like glass

"Would that be all the female Titan had to offer?" Eld asks

"I guess, it was pretty easy to use the armored Titans weight against him but that Female was far more agile"

"But what I don't get is why they decided to attack Karanes district, wouldn't going directly to Trost have been a better idea?" Levi asks

"I think they might've been looking for something" Erwin says

"What more could Titans like that want?" Levi asks

"It doesn't make sense to me that they were looking for something" Eld agrees

"Think about it, they attacked Karanes but they move onto the next district after seeing what they want isn't there. It makes perfect sense." Armin argues

"Maybe, but what is it they want?" Eren asks

"What two factors came into play in both scenes?" Erwin asks

"That's right both Kara and Eren transformed" Armin says

"Why would they care?" Mikasa asks

"I'm not sure but they broke in through wall Rose and then lead a fleet of Titans to Trost making sure nobody escapes" Armin says

"Then that would mean" everyone looks at me

"Yeah, they want Kara" Armin says

"Me?"

The founding Titan

They're here for its power

But… What power?

All I did was transform..

"It's why they resorted on using their female Titan" Erwin says

"But why him?" Petra asks

"We're not sure" Levi says

We used to think they were new 'intelligent' type

But now it's clear

Our enemies are human

And they're amongst us

Since they first attacked Karanes…

It's more than likely a cadet

"Wh-what is it?" Eren asks after hearing the deadly silence that dawned over the room

"Tell me Eren, who do you think the real enemy is?" Erwin asks

"W-well, the Titans of course. Why?"

"Alright, that's enough for today. I'll go over our plans with Levi" he says

"R-right" Armin says

"Why'd he ask Eren that?" Armin asks

"Not sure, but maybe it's time you introduce me to your buddies" I lie, to keep him from worrying about looking over his shoulder and hinting that we were onto the traitors

"Wh-what? Oh.. okay…"

The easiest way to infiltrate our ranks is through the training corps

There most likely only three of them one will shoot for Military Police while the other two stay close to Eren and I

The colossal and armored need to be ready if there is ever a need to destroy another wall so the female would try to shoot for the Military Police

Armin introduced me to all the new recruits

"And that's Reiner and Annie" he says as we watched the two sparring

"Whoa so you're Kara huh?!" The guy named Connie asks

"Yeah."

"Awesome 162 kills and 58 confirmed decapitations, you're the only soldier that's been able to completely decapitate a Titan"

"Yeah, your kill count is even higher than the commander and Levi put together!" The Sasha jumps

"Yeah." I watch those titties bounce

"How old are you anyways?" Connie asks

"Nineteen, why?"

"Wow your not much older than we are" Connie giggles

"He's five years older than us" Sasha says

"So what?

"Have you seen Krista anywhere?"

"Oh she was sent to patrol up wall Sina" she says

"Alright, see you around then"

I join Krista's side as she began nodding off

"Oh, hey Kara" she smiles as I throw my arm around her shoulder

"How you been?" I pull her head in

"Oh" she yawns "bit sleepy"

"Listen" I clear my throat

"Yeah?" She asks

"You ever think we'll be able to tell them what it's like.. outside the walls?"

"What?... oh, I'm not sure"

"Our enemy's… I think Marley might have something to do with this…"

"What?!" She sits up "Marley? Why would they be here?"

"I'm not sure… but I think it might have to do with the founding Titan I possess…"

Dammit..

"The amount of people that are gone… cause of me…" I sigh

"Don't do that" she rests her head on my shoulder

"It would've happened whether or not you took that power from Frieda"

"Still… you think we'll ever be able to tell them the truth? Not that I know much of the outside world myself but I'm sure you can"

"Well.. even in Marley I didn't know much myself" she slide her hand into mine "I was always alone… the church made sure to never keep me in the same place.. it was hard but I had to manage on my own…"

"What about you? Do you… do you remember a thing?"

I reach into my pocket for a cigar

It was inside a little case. Pre cut, for whenever I felt I needed to just pop one into my mouth

"Sorry, Kara.. I just…"

"Yeah.. yeah I do"

After lighting my cigar I dig my head into her neck

"Really? All of it or just.." she runs her fingers through my hair

"Enough, I guess…"

"Oh…" she sighs "I just wish I could.. understand you"

"Understand what?"

"You're so.. I-I don't know.. it just seems like you don't care.. about anything, really"

"I don't care, huh?" I pull my head away

"No, that isn't what I mean.. you're just… so calm, you don't let anything bother you"

I mean…

I've already seen the worst of the worst

"Does that… does that make me a bad person?"

"Wh-what?" She turns around "what do you mean?" She sets her cold hands on my face and carefully raises my head "of course it doesn't.."

…

"Kara…" she whispers "don't.. don't ever ask me that again, okay?"

…

"Okay?" She asks again

I nod

"You're not a bad person, don't let whatever happened to you make you think otherwise" she rests her head on my chest

We lay back for a couple of hours till the sun began setting

"C'mon" she stands up

"What?"

"Carla's waiting for us" she says

"Carla?"

"Yeah she invited me for dinner. I figured I'd bring you along"

"Oh… alright"

We head back down, meeting Odin at the bottom

From there we met up with Eren Mikasa and Armin and we all headed to Carla's place

"Hey mom!" Eren opens the door

"Wow honey, you got so big!"

But the smile on her face disappears after seeing I came along

"Hey… Kara" she forces a little smile

I nod

She goes off to the kitchen

"I'm gonna help her prepare everything" Krista joins her

"Yeah." I smile

The rest of the day went smoothly, I guess

Carla refused to even look at me but there was no surprise there

Night fell and I fell asleep on the couch with Krista

He was in the midst of peeling the last bit off my neck

He was done

My whole body felt like it was on fire

"Y-you said you'd let her go" I huff

Ursa was twitching and coughing inside a puddle of blood and semen

"I did, she decided she still wants to play"

"Shut up! You-you monster, you." I sniff "you Devil!"

"Yes!" He slams his hand on my chest

"A-ah-" I gasp

It hurt so much that I couldn't breath

His hand began sizzling

"I AM" he sets the tip of his claw on my chest, "and you are My Son"

"No, sh-sh-shut u-u-" I try fighting the pain as he dug his hand deeper and deeper into my chest

"Now what would that make you?"

"Kghk-kgh" I grit my teeth so hard I could taste the blood in my mouth

His fingers grasp around the third rib on the left side of my chest

"A Devil. Just like your Father" he rips his hand out

"K-Kara?" Krista whispers

"Yeah?"

"You.. you okay?"

I was strangling her waist

A devil, huh?

"Historia.. I…"

Everything I've done to keep her safe…

"Wh-what?"

I sigh

"Nothing" I sit up

Everyone's probably getting ready for Trost

"C'mon we should get going" I gather my things

"O-okay"
