Ch. 44 Battle of Stohess

Pov.

-Kara-

I lick her blood off My fingers

She slowly pulls herself up against the wall as I piss on her head

"Amazing how you wish you'd just die, isn't it?" I slide Myself down her throat

She sets her hands on My thighs trying to push Me off with the little strength she had

"That's until the pain stops, leaving you to hope you'll just live through it all" I slam her head on the wall as I rip Myself out after I was certain it wouldn't trinckle in My pants

I crouch down to meet her gaze as she gagged and coughed up both piss and blood

It was absolutely disgusting

What kind of creature would do this to another human being?

"Kehehe" I giggle

"Still think you'll live through it, Annie?" She flinches as I pull her hair back behind her ear

"Yes?"

She lazily shakes her head

"No, huh?"

I stand up

I kick her chin

Her head jerks up and I slam My foot on her face

"Well I did!" I smear her face into the wall

"But no! It keeps going on and on. It never ends!" I pull My foot back before smashing her head in again and again "it never fucking ends!"

Her head rolls down

Half her face had been grinded to the bone

"Hmh, hurts like hell doesn't it?!" I smile

I shove My foot into her mouth

"Agk*" she chokes as I yank her back

Her chin slams into the ground as I raise my foot over her head

"Kara!" Eren shouts

"What the hell?! We had a plan!" Armin shouts

"W-wait…" Mikasa pulls Armin back

"Wh-what'd you do to Annie?" Eren asks as he sees the massive puddle of blood and Annie grabbing my pants trying to pull herself back up

"She's one of them, look at her" I knee her chin

She falls back against the wall

Her face was steaming just like a titan

"How can you… how could you do something like this?" Armin covers his mouth

"You're right" I smile widely "let's end her misery"

I draw my blade

"No, we need her alive! She's no good to us dead!" Armin yanks my arm back

"Stop, you idiot!" I push him aside as Annie crawled over to her clothes

"Kara!" Mikasa wraps her arms around my abdomen "Wake up, this isn't you!"

"What are you talking about?! She has to pay, she killed Petra, she slaughtered everyone!"

"And she will, but this isn't the way. We're not animals like them, we're human!" Armin shouts

I grab Mikasa by the hair and I yank her off

I shove her into Armin and I grab Erens wrist before I push the three of them aside

"Come back!" I growl as Annie stabbed something into her thigh

"What the hell is that?" Eren asks nervously

Her face began healing faster until all her wounds closed

"Hahah, It's not over just yet" Annie smiles widely "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" she laughs hysterically before a bolt of lightning strikes her chest and she bursts straight through the ceiling

I hurry out of the tunnel

I rip my pinky finger off before being engulfed in a purple aura

A bolt of lightning strikes my chest and I finally take the form of my 16 meter Titan

I take a deep breath as I watch the citizens frantically run off

"GYAHHHH!" she roars as she charged with her arm cocked back

"We already know how this'll turn out" I smile

I hold my hand out ready to catch her fist

"What the fuc-" before I could do a thing she smashes my face with some kind of hammer she managed to crystallize with her hardening

I felt my back smash into a building

I get up, just barley catching the hammer before she could smash it on my head

The handle snaps and the hammer shattered the moment it made contact with my head

As I shake it off

She brings her knee up and she slams her heel on my chin

"Kghh" I grit my teeth

I harden my fist and I smash it onto her chin

She's managed to harden it last second but she still stumbles back

I get back to my feet

She throws her hammer at me

I harden my forearm and it shatters on contact

She lounges at me with everything she had

I just barely manage to pat her fists aside

She's gotten a lot better since last time

"I'm impressed, Annie. Where'd you found the time to practice?!" I slam my elbow into her chin

She stumbles back

"Shut up!" She growls

"Heh" I lick my lips just as I felt something pierce my chest

"Nghk" I grit my teeth

She hardened some kind of dagger

I try pulling the thing out but she slams another sledgehammer on the butt digging it deeper into my chest

"Fuck!" I cough before she smashes my head into the ground

"Die, die, die, die, die!" she stomps down on my head

"Kghh" she grabs my jaw, tearing it off my face before slamming my head into the ground one last time

…

"Hey.. Kara" I hear Petra's voice

"What's up?"

"I just… I wanted to thank you…"

"For?"

"The advice.. you gave me… a-about Levi? Last night.. I made the first move a-and…" she blushes

"Oh.." I smile "Yeah.. it's…"

Nothing.

…

"Petra…"

Eld… Oluo… Gunther

"There's so much more I could've done to her… but there just wasn't enough time…"

The whole right side of my head was smashed to bits

"Believe me I could've done so much better"

But I could feel it heal with in seconds

I tilt my head

I as she retreats towards wall Sina, trampling over whoever was in her way

"You all rest easy" I take a deep breath

I race down the streets

The buildings around me burst into flames as I charged towards Annie as she jumped up on the wall

I jump as high as I could

My fingernail grazed her heel after someone yanked me back down

Just as I turned around they deck me in the face, sending me flying into the open field

"Sh-shit" I grumble

I look up

I thought I'd see the armored Titan, but…

"Eren…"

"Gruaaaaaahhhhh!" he roars before charging at me

I step aside and I slam my fist into his face before jerking my body around and elbowing the back of his head

"Kghhkghkk" he crashes into the building behind me

"Kara!" I hear Mikasa land on my shoulder

"He's gone berserk!" Armin lands on the other side

"No shit?"

"I-I don't get it. He was fine in Karanes a-and we had no problems back in Trost"

I look up

Annie was reaching the top

This stupid…

"It's too late! Focus on Eren!" Armin shouts

"Graahhh!" Eren wraps his arms around my waist

I raise my fists before pounding down on his back trying to get him to let go as he body slammed me into the building

I wrap my arm around his head before snapping his neck

I dig into his nape with my other hand pulling Eren out from his Titan

I look up at the wall to see if the female was still climbing it

…

But she was long gone…

"Enough Kara!" Mikasa shouts as I unconsciously squeezed Eren in my hand

"Kgh." I grit my teeth

I slowly set him down as I returned to my human state

"H-here" Mikasa hands me her cape

I snatch it from her hands

"This is all your fault, so don't you take it out on Mikasa!" Armin storms over as I tied her cape at my waist

"How the hell is this my fault?!"

"You didn't stick to the plan!"

"Plan? You really think that was going to work?!" I tilt my head

"We would've had a better chance at capturing her if you just stuck to the plan!

"Bullshit!" I grab his throat

"Let him go!" Mikasa raises her blade

I harden my forearm just then and her blade shatters to pieces

I shove Armin out of my face

"I would've had her if it weren't for that idiot!" I point at Eren

"Keep him out of this!" Mikasa growls

"What are you talking about?! He came at me!"

"Please." We hear Erwin, "it was a lost cause from the very beginning. Even if we captured her there's no telling what she had up her sleeve."

"Now, I need the four of you to report to Everything to Hange" he says as Eren pulled himself up

After Eren nod Erwin heads off

"Get in my way again. I'll kill you myself, boy" I glare at him, making sure the message got through that thick fucking skull

Pov.

"Mommy, it's daytime, it's daytime!" Hestia jumps in her bed

"Really?" I sit, having been awake for a while now

"Yeah! You know what day it is?!"

"What day is it?"

"We're going to go see papa, day!" She jumps ecstatically

"Right…" I smile

"C'mon" she hops out of bed and waddles to the cradle

"C'mon Poseidon" she reaches inside and picks up her little brother

I had him after we lost Kara

Hestia insisted on naming him Poseidon. She said it's what Kara would've liked

"C'mon we're going to see daddy!" Hestia giggles excitedly

I get out of bed and get changed as Hestia made sure Poseidon's pampers were clean

After I'm done I help Hestia change into her favorite dress and head out the front

"Where might the three of you be going?" I hear Oceanus

"Oh… uhh I'm taking Poseidon to see… the doctor"

"We have a doctor here at the castle…"

"Oh… yeah, but…" I try thinking of another excuse

"Go on…" he smiles

"Thanks…" I force a little smile before going on my way

After a few minutes the cab driver drops us off at the public cemetery where Kara was buried

"Yay!" Hestia grabs Poseidon as I pay the cab driver

"Oh no, it's fine your Highness"

"No please, I insist" I hand him the money "and if you may…"

"Sure" he smiles "I won't say a word, to anyone"

"Thanks" I return the smile before seeing him off

"Look this is daddy, his name is Amaterasu Kara.That means Beloved Light of Heaven." she leaves out his last name knowing it'd changed the entire definition of such a beautiful name

"He was super duper strong and awesome a-and fun"

"And dad, this is Poseidon" Hestia introduces them like she always did "he's… well super duper fat"

"Heyy," I sit down beside her "that wasn't nice" I pinch her cheek

"Hehe" she giggles "thanks a lot for Poseidon, daddy. It's so much funner now that mama always has a baby around"

Hestia has her heart set on Poseidon being Kara's even though I might have conceived him with Cronus

He forced himself onto me knowing how much pain I was in after losing Kara

Hestia spent hours talking to him about what's happened ever since our last meeting

"Nom, nom, nom" Hestia feeds a tiny piece of her chicken sandwich to Posideon who I held in my arms

After Hestia finishes she began babbling on again before I finally stood up

"C'mon Hestia" I pat her head

"What?" She looks up "b-but I'm not done…" she looks back down at his grave

"It's okay baby we'll come back next week" I help her up

"Next week, huh?" I hear Oceanus behind us

"Oceanus?!" I turn around

"Oh no," Hestia tears up

"Relax" he smiles

"Wh-why are you here? Are you going to stop us from seeing daddy?" Hestia asks

"No… actually, I was hoping I'd find you here"

"Why?"

"Well I've been meaning to tell you something, regarding… Kara…"

"Kara?"

"What about papa?"

Oceanus smiles

"N-no way…"

Could it be?

"D-daddy's… alive?"
