Last Christmas

We skipped any formal dances this year. Every dance end with someone’s wearing punch and us leaving early. We had started into our second semester while trying to figure out who exactly the girl was. We all kept a lookout for anyone that would catch our attention but didn’t have any luck.

Christmas break finally arrived. We were on break for two entire weeks, which I’m excited about because it meant sleeping every day.

I was sleeping in my blanket. Snow fell outside, making me stand even more until I felt something move under my covers. I opened an eye to find a sizable lump under them. I lifted the blankets to see Ryan smirking at me. I looked at the clock on the nightstand to see it was 6:00 in the morning.

/"Not even on Christmas break, you’ll let me sleep in./" I closed my eyes again, groaning. He hurried up, giving me a quick peck. /"Okay, you win. I’ll let you sleep while I play./"
