Bad News/Good News

The semester ended, and we made it through finals with minor problems. We came back to our room because we would have to move out in a few days, which was fine by us. Ryan decided he finishes with the dorm life and rent a house for next year, and we were moving in. It had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, so we didn’t need one bathroom for six people.

I was boxing up some stuff with Ryan when a faculty member knocked on the door.

/"Excuse me. Are you, Miss Hartley?/" They asked me.

/"Yes,/" I answered.

/"The Dean would like a word with you,/" they told me.

/"About what?/" I asked.

/"About attending here next year,/" they answered.

The faculty member left, and we looked at each other.

/"What the fuck?/" Ryan questioned.

/"Let’s go. What could this be about?/" I asked him.
