DISCLAIMER : THIS IS A FANFICTION. So obviously I don't own any of the characters that appear in the novel. Honestly do I even own the 'OCs' that are in here? The great pirates era. It was a time when pirates were anywhere and everywhere. Two boys from a corner of the East blue are about to set out and turn the world upside down. _______________________________________ For now I'm trying to get atleast three chapters a week, will try to increase in the future.

Cliche much?

Tyke stood at the entrance of Arlong park with his arms crossed as the straw hats stormed in. Seeing Arlong call for something, Tyke saw the sea creature that they met in the sea.

Though Luffy grabbing it and spinning around caused havoc, not all the fish-men were out as Arlong and six of his subordinates still stood. While Tyke was trying to assess their strength, he noticed his captain had arrived.

Tom looked at Luffy who got sprayed with black ink because he was still stuck in the ground after his last move and could not evade. Shaking his head with a sigh, Tom turned to Tyke and said.

"That guy Arlong has been collecting money from everyone on this island for a long time apparently."

"I know."

"It'll be a lot of money, won't it?"

"Probably."

"Let's steal it."

"...."

Tyke looked at his captain who was flashing his usual evil smile when he said that and closed his eyes. Taking a deep breath, he opened them back and asked.

"What do you want us to do then?"

**********

Things were not looking particularly good for the straw hats as their captain was thrown into the water and Sanji and Zoro were getting overwhelmed by the strong fish-men that were still standing.

As Sanji fended off the onslaught, he looked at Zoro who was getting worse as the battle continued. Though Zoro was patched up well enough, it seemed that his wound had not completely healed yet.

With Usopp running away, taking one of the fish-men with him, there were only two of them left to take on the remaining five and save their captain.

When the five fish-men were about to launch another coordinated attack, they saw something falling near Sanji and Zoro, and soon almost the entire Arlong park was filled with smoke.

As Arlong frowned at what happened, the smoke cleared up and now there were five humans.

Zoro looked at the three who stood near him and said.

"We don't need your help."

As soon as he said that he was pushed by Jerry and fell down. Looking up from the ground he shouted at Jerry.

"What the hell?!"

"Marimo-san, it's better to suck up your pride sometimes."

"You-"

"The kid is right."

Zoro frowned at Sanji as he continued.

"We can't just take our time to beat them."

Clicking his tongue, Zoro agreed begrudgingly. Getting from and facing the fish-men, he said.

"Don't get in my way."

That seemed to kickstart the battle again as the fish-men attacked the humans.

With Zoro and Sanji taking Hatchan and Kuroobi respectively, Jerry fended off the extremely fat fish-man and Tyke clashed with the one with a massive forehead.

Yuuki looked at the only fish-man who was left. With red skin that shone under the sun and two claws instead of hands, the fish-man looked rather intimidating.

Yuuki jumped back when he saw the fish-man coming to attack him. Whipping out his pistol, he shot a few times immediately.

As he frowned at the fish-man who did not even flinch, Yuuki saw him brushing off the spot on his body where the bullet hit and smirk at him.

"There is nothing that can get past-."

Yuuki shot at the fish-man's face which looked different, more 'normal', than the rest of his body. His instict was seemingly correct, as the fish-man raised his claws to defend his face.

"How dare you interrupt me, human?"

As the fish-man glared through his claws, which seemed undamaged, Yuuki let out a nervous laugh and muttered.

"This is gonna be troublesome."

Watching the fish-man who was trying to attack him again, Yuuki reached into his jacket and dropped a smoke bomb. Though it was not as powerful as the one his captain had dropped before, it was enough to blind the fish-man.

Climbing atop the walls, Yuuki pocketed his pistol and took out the rifle which was on his back.

The fish-man got out of the smoke and tried searching for the human, only to be shot again. Looking towards where the bullet had come from, he saw the human perched on top of the walls. Rushing at the human, he swung his claw at the wall to destroy it.

Yuuki jumped off the wall before his opponent's claw hit the wall and threw another smoke bomb.

Noticing the human jump off the wall, the fish-man immediately stopped his swing and turned around. Putting his claws in front of his face to guard it, he charged towards where Yuuki might land as the smoke bomb exploded.

Bursting through the smoke, he saw the human had thrown more bombs at him. Making a disgusted expression as he continued his charge, he shouted.

"Stop with the petty tricks human! They won't work!"

Yuuki smirked at his opponent who was recklessly charging and muttered.

"Idiot."

Enraged at the human who was calling him, a superior species, an idiot, the fish-man was about to swing his claws when the bombs made contact with him. Unfortunately for him, what came out wasn't smoke as they exploded and sent him flying into the wall.

Yuuki used the force of the explosion to hop back and took out his rifle and started shooting at his opponent, who got stuck in the wall and was trying to protect his head.

When the firing finally stopped, the fish-man got out of the wall and sneered at the human.

"This is your limit!"

As he charged at the human again, the fish-man noticed a smirk on his opponent's face as he took out his pistol.

"You're too overconfident, you idiot. You're gonna lose in such a cliche way now."

As he wondered what delusions the human was in, the fish-man heard a crack. Looking down at his abdomen, he saw that it had started breaking.

Stunned at what happened, the fish-man realized that all of the human's attacks, even the explosion had hit him in the same place, causing his shell to break.

Unfortunately, he realized it too late as Yuuki shot him at the open gap in his armor he now had.

Leaving him no time to defend his abdomen, where the gap was, Yuuki shot a few more times which caused his opponent to fall over in pain.

As he tried to get back up, the fish-man noticed his opponent had come closer to him with his rifle in hand.

"You don't even have a cool sounding attack, you idiot. You're just fodder"

As the fish-man was enraged at the human for disrespecting him, Yuuki used the butt of the rifle as a hammer and hit him on his head knocking him out, putting him out of his misery.

Putting his rifle on his shoulder, Yuuki held his chin and thought.

'I should think up a couple of cool names for the next time I fight.'

Author's note : A rather short chapter. I decided to put it out cause it ended on an 'okay' note and so that there won't be too much gap between chapters.
