6 The Awakening

The day after I nuked Avalon my back was hurting, my brain was hurting and it felt like my bones were rearranging themselves. It wasn't painful but it was definitely uncomfortable. I only started feeling pain when I got up to walk. I could feel the bones in my foot rearranging and walking on it just wasn't going to work. I heard over the intercom to come to the board room for a briefing for my next mission. I was unsure if I should go or not because of my current condition. I thought it was better to just lay back down, give myself a break. when I sat on the bed I blacked out. when I awoke it was night time and nobody had come to get me in that time. what was even weirder was that the building I was in was in smithereens and their was nobody in sight for miles.
