Chifuyu Orimura

Sora is currently walking through the corridors of the building going towards his classroom, He is thinking about everything that he heard from the principal from the beginning to end.

"I should never neglect my school now... that talk with that witch, brought many realizations to me, is this what they call enlightenment?" Sora murmured, lowering his head as he pondered further into his thoughts.

"I promise that I will take my studies seriously," Sora said to himself as he remembered the last part of what principal Akaiichi said, and as Sora thought of it further his complexion seems to become more lively as his pale face got a ting of blood flowing now.

He looked up seemingly receiving further enlightenment.

"W... wait... why is there a party?... wait wait wait..." Sora said, as he halts his steps and bringing his hand into his temple, and as time went by, his body shook as excitement replaced his thoughtful face.

"S... should I turn back there and question the witch if I heard it right!?" Sora said, he barely resisted shouting.

"N... no no I barely even got out in that dungeon and now I'm planning to go back!?" Sora said, remembering the principal's prank on him, and how he nearly even teared up in there, and now he's thinking of going back!? He thought, Sora then pivoted his legs and turned back, except he didn't go towards the principal's office but the teacher's office instead.

Sora ran, pushing his fatigued body further, and as he is nearing the teacher's office his expression turned into a face full of expectation he then slams open the door due to his excitement.

"CHIFUYU SENS--" Sora yelled, trying to step inside...

*SMACK*

But was smacked instead by a flying book as it landed squarely on his face.

"Stop yelling you idiot don't you know people are trying to sleep!?" A woman's voice then followed, she slowly stood up from the couch she was sleeping on rubbing her eyes that's a little bit blurry due to her recent awakening.

"Don't you know it's the teacher's office!? if other teachers are here you'll be in more trouble than you already are!" Chifuyu said, looking at Sora who is just getting himself balance due to being hit by a flying book.

"And why are you even here? don't you have class? Don't tell me you're skipping classes this time?... I even defended you from expulsion!" Chifuyu said, throwing her sandals to now standing Sora on the doorway.

Sora avoided this time picking up the book and sandals that are thrown at him earlier.

"Chi~fu~yu~sen~sei" Sora said in a mellow voice, as he tried his best to cover his hard breathing from running through the school's corridors.

Sora felt a wave of warmth pass through his heart as he heard Chifuyu said she defended him from his expulsion. Sora and Chifuyu are from the same village and Sora treated her as his big sister, while Chifuyu treated him as his younger brother, she helped Sora get inside this school by getting Sora to take a semi scholarship where Sora only needed to pay half of the tuition fee for the next three years of schooling. Chifuyu even helped Sora and his father by giving him an allowance and she also gives some for his father's medication.

Sora is grateful to his big sister who not only are they not a blood-related family, she also has to take care of her grandmother who has fallen deeply sick due to an accident. Sora truly felt grateful for what she has done to him and his father.

"Whats... with the creepy voice? now tell me why are you interrupting my time for sleeping?" Chifuyu said, glaring at sora who was walking towards her, Sora then sat next to her and clasped her hands, and gave an expression of excitement.

"Is it true that I am the top scorer of this national examination, Chifuyu-neesan?" Sora asked immediately, not even sparing Chifuyu from the sudden excitement on his face.

Chifuyu took back her hands and stood up ignoring Sora's question, and made a coffee for herself.

"Hey... hey Chifuyu-neesan don't ignore me!" Sora said being ignored, he felt betrayed as he pleads.

She sat back down and patted Sora on the shoulders and said.

"Yeah, it's true..." Feeling proud of her younger brother,

'seeing you grow up from an innocent boy to a smart one is the most satisfying feeling in this world, and you not only passed the exam, but you also exceeded our expectations... I'm sure your father will be proud of you. I and grandma too are proud of you' she thought thinking back to their childhood.

Sora saw her eyes shine as she said those words, it's fewer words but has more meaning than anything, seeing her eyes shining on him, just like how a proud sister is to his younger brother. Sora again felt the warmth of family as he hugged her tight, spilling a little of her coffee to his uniform.

"Thank you, Chifuyu-neesan," Sora said, tearing a little

'I wouldn't have accomplished it without your help, I am truly grateful to you, to father, and grandmother too. You both took care of us when we're down searching for some comfort, you showed us warmth when we are cold. I promise to you neesan that I, Sora Kanashi will repay you however I can.' He thought.

Chifuyu hugged him back as she too felt the warmth of family through his embrace.

"Are you thinking something cheesy?" Chifuyu blurted out unconsciously, from just feeling a little tingle on her spine.
