1 Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Rebirth

Vivan, who was asleep, was awakened by the sudden pain in his brain. The pain that was originally a nightmare became more intense after waking up, and it was accompanied by a pungent bloody smell.

"Ahhh… my head hurts…! Uh…this… is this blood?"

He subconsciously reached out to try to touch the painful position on the back of the head, but he didn't had the courage to touch the wound by his hand, because of the severe pain.

After some time, he looked up, he could see nothing except a dim candle light in a broken bowl.

The dim light enveloped the small room, and he saw a short upward staircase, which indicated that it was a basement. At the end of the stairs are two tightly closed wooden doors.

And his hands were tied to the wall by an iron chain. The length of the iron chain was only enough to move within one meter of the stone bed under him.

He pulled the iron chain. But as expected, from weight to texture, it is a genuine iron chain.

Vivan noticed a problem, that his hands seemed to become whiter and smaller, and just now he felt that his perspective was somewhat problematic. It seems that he has become a teenager. And from the skin color, it seems to be a whiter.

Did I cross the body? But this situation does not seem very good.

However, obviously he thought too much, so as time went on, some fragments of memory gradually appeared in his mind.

Victor, an American, is still in high school. Father Creed was a retired officer who had fought in the Second Civil War. Although he was not an accomplished man, but he became a small officer.

After retiring, he returned to his hometown by relying on the money he had saved as a soldier and became a local manor. He had two sons after marriage. He is a winner in life.

Although, he was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder caused by war, he still loves his children and his wife.

Until the day of his younger son's, Luther Creed, 13th birthday, After that everything changed…

Originally, two children were fighting for food, but because of mutant genes and animal nature, his elder son, Victor Creed, frantically killed his younger brother and said he was just 'playing'.

Father, who had been suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, completely collapsed.

After burying his youngest son, he locked his elder son, Victor, in the basement of his home with a chain, and pulled out his sharp teeth that bit his own brother.

However, because Victor's mutant genes had been activated, his teeth grew soon again, which made Father Creed more convinced that his son was possessed by Devil.

As a result, he came to the basement every day to pull out his son's teeth with vise, and believed that as long as he pulled his all devil-teeth, this damn demon would leave his son's body.

"I have lost one son, I will not lose another!"

The young Sabertooth tiger naturally struggled to resist, but the little tiger that had not yet grown into a villain, which that would be rival of Wolverinen was naturally suppressed by the bloody father.

First, he was tied to an iron chain to limit the range of activity, and then because of the strong struggle, Father Creed chose to stun him every time and then began to extract his teeth. It was to reduce his pain.

This time, the physical anesthesia was too heavy. As a result, Victor Creed was knocked to death, and then the protagonist crossed.

Father Creed, after extracting the teeth of Victor, who was knocked to death, left the basement to drink some wine, and found that his family had finished wine (after the death of Luther, Father Creed began to drink alcohol every day).

Mrs. Creed, who wanted to take care of Victor, was taken for granted by Father Creed, who went to buy wine in the town. She did not dare to disobey the order of the nearly crazy drunkard husband.

So there was the scene at the beginning of this chapter. Vivan woke up and saw a dim candle light in a broken bowl in front of him. It also avoids the discovery of Victor's death and the corpse caused by Vivan's crossing.

Vivan, who is now Victor, sat on the stone bed with his arms tightly around his legs. His eyes looked silently at the ground.

Suddenly he passed through inexplicably, his parents at home did not know. Vivan was the only child in the family before crossing, and his parents brought him up and sent him to college.

When he start working, he finally start supporting his parents, so that they can live easily. But the sudden crossing changed all this.

"I don't know if Mom and Dad knew that I'm in trouble? And what would they do in the future? They lost there only son, how would they live now."

While Vivan was thiking about his parents, a sound came from the closed wooden door in the basement.

After the wooden door opened, a sad lady Mrs. Creed entered the basement with the bright moonlight.

She became sad and horrified, when she saw her only son huddled in the corner of the small basement, his eyes staring at the ground awkwardly, not knowing what he was thinking.

"God! Did we do something wrong? Why you let such punishment fall on us? If we did something wrong, please punish me, let my child go, he is just a child!"

While praying, Mrs. Creed carefully approached Victor (Vivan) who was still in a daze. Although Victor had never hurt her, the memory of witnessing Victor killed Luther made her fear for his eldest son.

But her love and responsibility for her son made her unable to abandon her son. Even if he killed his brother, or became a beast.

It was also because Mrs. Creed's care that Victor didn't became completely irrational and turned into a crazy beast. (Although not far away.)

However, she did not dare to release Victor, on the one hand, out of fear of her husband, but on the other hand, was it because of her fear of Victor itself.

Day after day, she watched her husband to torture his son. She was also tortured by guilt and fear.

"Victor, are you okay? Mom came to see you, and I brought you food."

"Mom?"

Mrs. Creed's voice interrupted Vivan's thoughts. He looked up and glanced at Mrs. Creed, who was walking towards him.

In the eyes of Vivan, which blended Victor's memory, the figure of Mrs. Creed overlapped with the figure of his own mother.

Seeing Mrs. Creed's worried expression, Vivan, who inherited all of Victor's memories and emotions, sighed in his heart.

Vivan thought that I'm not Vivan anymore. I'm Victor Creed from today. Everything and memories of the previous life are temporarily sealed. But it seems that the name, Victor Creed, has been heard somewhere."(The protagonist is renamed Victor)

"Let me go, mom."

Victor recalled the way he used to get along with Mrs. Creed, while carefully maintaining his movements and expressions to avoid making Mrs. Creed aware of anomalies.

But Mrs. Creed, who had been in a state of guilt and fear all year round, had almost lost the ability to judge people.

"I … I can't do it. He is too strong, he will…"

Faced with Victor, she didn't feel anything wrong. She just replied slightly flustered.

"No, Mom. Don't be afraid of him. It's me who's afraid of him!"

As Victor raised his head again and looked at Mrs. Creed, he stared at his poor mother with cold, unforgiving eyes and smile on his face.

Mrs. Creed was horrified by Victor's smile, which had been stained with blood, because his teeth had been removed, and covered with sharp teeth.

Mrs. Creed filled with fear and climbed up the stairs, to rush out of the basement. Even she forgot to close the basement doors.

In a hurry to escape, Mrs. Creed forgot to close the basement door. Victor started struggling again, hoping to break free of the chain and escape.

He had just deliberately used Mrs. Creed's fear and fragility to scare away the other party. He just create such an opportunity to escape.

Although he had a better choice to he stun Mrs. Creed. But he did not do so, and subconsciously chose to be shocked with a great probability of success.

Obviously Victor did not want to hurt Mrs. Creed, but he succeeded in frightening Mrs. Creed, and the other party also forgot to close the basement door as he wished.

But he still missed a little. The iron chains that bound his hands and range of motion were not easy to break or pull out.

Although he struggled, beat, and pulled with all his might, it only caused the chain to sway, with no signs of breaking or being pulled out.

Just when Victor was still tossing around in the basement and trying to get rid of the iron chain, a tall figure suddenly blocked the moonlight shooting towards the basement.

Victor spent too much energy to get rid of the chain, and did not succeed. But his tossing motions and Mrs. Creed running home with a frightened expression finally attracted Victor's dad attention.

"It seems that you haven't learned to learn a lesson, demon! I have to deepen your memory so that you will leave my child's body as soon as possible!"

"Oh, damn!"

Faced with the sudden appearance of Father Creed, Victor quickly dropped the iron chain in his hand. Hold the stone bed with both hands, thighs bent, buttocks raised, eyes fixed on the other person's tall figure.

As Father Creed stepped down the last stair, Victor swooped towards his father.
