1 Chapter 1 Zombie Apocalypse in Another World
I'm Alsyel Talon an S-rank adventurer well I was one before I got chased by undeads which are referred as "zombies" in this world.
For some reason I can't use magic in this world but my skills are still there but something is wrong with it, it doesn't show my skill levels anymore and even my level.
I'm very confident on my stamina and agility as an S-rank adventurer, as I quickly outrunned the undeads. They werent really fast but in terms of numbers there are far too much of them if you didn't pick your route carefully you would be lead to a dead end.
But for me it wasn't really hindered by obstacles because I am cunning enough to escape a dead end.
Although I encountered many dead ends but it was no big deal.
Let's rewind a bit.

Me and my party the Red Lizards were travelling the demon lands and as the demon lords castle as our destination.
After 3 months of travelling and fighting in the lands of the demons we finally arrived at the demon lords castle.. we pushed the big giant door of the castle and as it opened a figure of a human with horns and sharp claws can be seen.. it was no doubt that it was the demon lord himself.
"Welcome visitors! Although I didn't really expect you to arrive this far"
We fought the demon lord with everything we had, but as he was about to die he chanted an unknown magic towards us.
In attempt to dodge the magic we all spreaded out, because we thought it was an attack magic we all braced ourselve.
And that's when it happened, pillars of lights started surrounding us and suddenly my vision slowly warped.
"HEY! HEY WAKE UP!"
An unfamiliar voice resounded in my eardrums.
When I opened my eyes I was greeted by an unfamiliar face of a girl with a chestnut colored hair and yellow eyes she seemed to be 150 centimeters tall.
"Oh God thank you, you're alive"
"Where am I"
I was not familiar of the scenery around me it seems I am inside a room with glass windows right next to the door, maybe the demon lord used a magic that sends us to different parts of the world.
"Where currently inside--"
*BANG*BANG*!
"HEY hurry up!"
I looked towards the source of the voice and what I saw was a woman around her twenties I with blonde hair and yellow eyes she was about 160 centimeters tall.
And again the girl from earlier spoke to me in a hurry.
"You're not bitten right? Can you move?"
"I'm fine I can still move" I replied to the he girl.
"Good, follow us" the girl said and she quickly turned around and ran towards the door.
"HEY come on!" The girl screamed.
I stood up and followed her towards the door, I'm currently wearing some light clothes and I don't know where my armor and sword had gone to.
The girl was at the left side of the door and at the right side the woman from earlier was holding a pair of L shaped metal things it looked like a handle of a crossbow.
And further away were undeads, a large amount of undeads.
I shivered over how many there were, is there a necromancer in this building if so we have to defeat him.
I reached for my left side to draw my sword but there was nothing there, I totally forgot the fact that I lost all my equipments.
"Hey what are you doing! Get running already there are already a lot of them"
the woman said while running towards the left side of the door.
"Huh? Can't you use purification?"
I asked.
Purification is a magic that can turn undeads to their normal selves, but if they were made with necromancy they'll just turn to dust if purification is used on them.
"Piure-what! Did you hit your head or somethin? Just run already!"
As she said I followed their trail while running.
But long enough we were cornered by the undeads.
"Tsk! Why are there so many zombies in this building!?"
The woman screamed.
"Its the end, we're all gonna die here!"
The girl screamed.
Well we were already in a desperate situation and as they say 'desperate times requires desperate measures'.
I looked around to see if I can find something that can be used as a weapon.
And I quickly found something that has a long wooden stick and at its other end were something like stripped cloths (AN: it was a mop).
I quickly grabbed it and stanced myself I'm not really knowledgeable about using other weapons other than a sword but I still can fight using it.
I charge towards the horde of undeads using the stick as a weapon and pierced one undead in its torso.. why the torso you ask? because everyone knows that an undeads magic crystal is in its torso or so that's how it was supposed to be.
The undead was still moving and the other undeads were approaching, I tried to pull out the stick but the undead is griping on it tightly, while its other hand tried to grab me. *BANG*
A loud noise came from behind me, I was surprised on what it was because suddenly a hole appeared on the undead's head and the undead fell limped on the ground like it was dead.
Was that some kind of light magic? But I can't sense any magic flow at all, I turned around to look where it came from.
"The he'll do you think you're doing!? Don't hit them in the torso! Hit them in the head!" The woman screamed at me while holding one of the L metal shaped things at my direction.
The L metal shaped thing has smoke coming out from its hole. Is that where the light magic came from? is that a magic tool?
"Hey there's one behind you!"
The woman warned me of the undead behind me, I quickly reacted to her warning and twisted my body and just as she said I hit the undeads head as hard as I could and in result, the undeads head flew apart from its body and slammed the wall.
The undeads body fell down and didn't move an inch, it was dead well it was already dead in The first place anyway.
Now that I know how to defeat the undeads I can fight them with no problem.
"What the hell? He hit the zombies head and tear it apart from its body in one hit!"
The woman screamed in a surprised voice.
I quickly turned around towards them and instructed them.
"I'll make way for you two, tell me where do we go from here and I'll make a way"
"What are you saying!? Sure you're strong but there are a lot of them!"
"Doesnt matter, just tell me where"
"Gh! Its just straight forward from here, but we can't possibly go through this thick horde"
"Okay just straightforward, you two can defend yourselves right?"
"Yes, we can take care of ourselves"
"Great! Then just follow me"
I turned around again facing the approaching hordes of undead, I ready myself and once again charged towards the horde.
"Gragg!" One undead jumped towards me in attempt to attack me but I quickly hit it with the stick at the side of its head and it slammed to the wall.
Another one tried to attack me on the ground but I quickly pulled the stick from the air and brought it down to the undeads head and I also quickly hit the two other undeads that were on its side they all fell down in right to next each other.
I continued my onslaught until to the point where the stick finally snapped into two pieces, The fact that the stick snapped in two pieces did not faze me, instead it made everything easier.
I grabbed the sticks other half and continued attacking, this time I used dual sword techniques to attack.
I attacked the undead with the stick on my right hand and at the same time I attacked another undead with my left hand. Another undead tried to attack me but I quickly chopped its head of using the to sticks on my hands, The stripped like cloths that was connected on the stick was already long gone because of my none stop attacks to the undeads.
After a while we finally reached the outside but it seems we're on the rooftop of the building.
When I looked below the building I saw a crowd of undeads pushing their way in the entrance.
"Lets close the doors quick!" The woman instructed The girl as they both closed the double door as quickly as they could and locked it.
After they locked the door and adding some other things to make sure it's closed thight they finally sat down and rested their tired bodies.
As for me I wasn't tired at the least, I have fought hundreds to thousands of enemy's in my life as an adventurer, I could still handle more of those hordes of undead if I had my proper weapons.
"So can you two tell me what's happening here?" I asked the two females.
This doesn't seem to be another country its more like of another world, I can safely say that this world can't use magic base on what I experienced.
"Did you seriously hit your head or something?" The woman asked.
"Are you okay? Does your head hurt?" The girl followed.
"Lets just say I don't remember anything" I know they won't believe me if I say that I came from another world. That's why I said that I don't remember anything.
"Oh you had amnesia? So that's why you were lying on the ground when we found you!"
"But wow you must be some kind of martial artist!" The girl added.
"Okay we'll tell you the situation, but first let us introduce ourselves, I am Shizuka and this young girl here is my sister Fumi" the woman spoke.
"What about your family name?" I asked.
It's quite unnatural for somebody to not have a family name. In my world a person with no family name is said to have no parents. And are treated like slaves and animals.
"Its not like we don't have one its just doesn't matter in this chaotic world anymore" she looked pained as she said those words.
"Its okay if you don't want to say it I won't pry on it, so anyway just call me Al"(AN: Al from Alsyel)
"Okay Al I'll tell you everythin"
So it seems this world had an outbreak of undead or they call them zombies, the zombies can had taken over this world's population, and unlike in my world where u ndeads just kills the livings but in this world the undeads eat the livings and if you somehow escaped the u ndeads as long as you were scratched or bitten you will turn into one of them sooner or later.
I also asked about the L shaped metals thingies that looked like a handle of a crossbow, it seems they are called 'guns' and it can fire projectiles called bullets which are as big as the half of the thumb at an amazing speed.
I also asked them in a roundabout way if magic exist in this world but sadly it doesn't.
It's almost sunset its dangerous to go down if it's dark.
"Its already getting dark maybe we should get some things ready" Shizuka said as she reached for her small bag behind her.
I didn't really notice that there when we met, because I was preoccupied on taking down the undeads.
She took out a something that looked like a lamp but there was to cloth or candle inside it, only piece of oval glass and some thin strings I thought it was something for keeping something inside like a cage.
Shizuka noticed me staring intently on the lamp like thing, She reached her hands towards the thing and flipped something and after that the thing shined as bright as strong as a campfire. I was surprised by the it and I quickly distanced my self and took the stick and guarded myself.
"Pffff! Hahahahaha!" Shizuka laughed.
"Who the he'll are you? You can take down a horde of zombies with just a mop stick and yet you don't know basic things around here!" Shizuka asked.
"Hey sister his got an amnesia, it's just normal that he doesn't remember anything" Fumi said to her sister.
"But he fought a horde of zombies with a stick, he also didn't took any damage, he moved like he knows what he was doing" Shizuka replied.
"I've heard of people with amnesia for some reason they can still react to things like they know how to do it, they said its probably caused because of their muscle memories" Fumi explained.
"So you're saying that All his movement's were based on his body remembering all of it?" Shizuka confirmed.
"Maybe you two should rest, instead of talking you two should sleep and get your bodies some rest" I suggested.
The way I looked at them they seem to be running for a day non stop just to get away from the undeads.
"Yeah, but first we need to fill our stomachs" Shizuka said while looking at Kumi.
"right away" Fumi then ravaged her own bag looking for something.
"Ah! Found them"
Fumi took out small containers with blue liquids inside of it and some thin rectangular shaped cookies that are wrapped in a transparent bag. (AN: the blue liquid is an energy drink and the thin cookies are biscuits)
there were four small containers and four wrapped thin cookies that has four in each wrap.
"I only took enough snacks for me and my sister so uh.. "
"Its okay I'm not hungry, I can still last a day or two with no food but can you give me one of those blue liquids?" I asked.
I was curios on what it was first I thought it was a mana recovery potion but this world doesn't have magic so I discarded that thought.
"You sure?"
"Yes"
"Are you really sure sure?"
"Yes I am!" I said in a loud but low tone. (AN: like Avdol from Jojo's bizzare adventure: stardust crusaders)
"Okay suit yourself, here you go" Fumi handed one blue liqiud to me and I gracefully received it.
I opened the container and drank its liqiud, The liqiud tasted sweet with a hint of bitterness and I felt like my body being refreshed, its like a stamina recovery potion!
Shizuka seemed to notice my surprised face and she proceeded to introduce the name of the potion.
"Haah... that's an energy drink" she sighed and said the name of it.
Interesting this energy drink has the same effect as a stamina recovery potion.
After a while the two girls finally got some rest while I was keeping guard if anything happens.
I have a presence detection skill that let's me detect if anything is near me, but it seems there are no undeads in this level of the building.
After I concluded that it was safe I took a break and sat on the edge of the building, then I realised something, I've been ignoring the fact that I'm some guy that is watching over two girls, and the two girls are sleeping which makes them vulnerable to all sorts of things.
"This is bad, if I don't distract myself my instincts might kick in and I might do something horrible to these girls" I murmured silently.
I tried my remaining skill out if they still work to distract me from that fact, and I found out that only, Jump Boost, speed boost, Herculean Strenght, presence detection, crisis detection, antidote and regenetion(small) are the only skills that I can use, all the other skills are useless.
"Ahh!"
My concentration was disrupted by a moan that came from Shizukas mouth.
{What is she dreaming? To make her let out a voice like that? She's old enough right? To do those kind of things maybe I can-----}
{WHAT THE HELL AM I THINKING!? THIS IS BAD IF THIS KEEPS UP I MIGHT LOSE MY REASONING!}
"Ahh! đ no not there! Ahhđ"
{Stop!! I need to get out of here!}
I used my presence detection to co firm that it was safe to leave them here, After I confirmed it was safe I jumped the hell out of the rooftop with my jump boost and landed on another building's rooftop I sensed some presence on the rooftop and found out there were a couple dozen undeads on it but I swiftly took down every last one of them and secured the rooftop for myself.
After calming down I descended to the streets and tried to look around for a bit I can see quite fairly in the dark because I'm used to it.
But I still ended up being chased by the undeads, I outrunned them with my skills and returned to the rooftop of the building that I secured using jump boost.
"I wonder where everyone are, I hope their all safe"

And that returns as back to here.
It's finally sunrise, I returned to the first building where Shizuka and Fumi are sleeping and woke then up.
Fumi woke up normally but Shizuka is pouting she looks disappointed. Did she not have a good sleep? Cause based from earlier she was having a good dream.
When I looked at here she seems annoyed, so I stopped.
"So what are your plans?" I asked.
It's not possible to keep staying here since we only had limited resources.
"Maybe we should get out of here, it seems the crowd of zombies are gone at the entrance" Shuzuka said while checking below.
"Yeah we should get out of here as soon as possible" I said as I also took a look below.
But when I looked at Shizuka again she looks angry at me, She only shows me her angry face but when she's talking to Fumi she uses her normal face. Did I do something wrong?
....
"Okay I'll go first you two take care of yourselves okay?"
"Okay!"
"... okay"
Fumi energetically replied but Shizuka seems to be the opposite.
The top floor didn't have any undeads because I wiped out all of them yesterday, but the same can't be said for the lower floors namely the 2nd and 1st floors.
The sticks that I used yesterday were already worn out, but good thing that there were metal tubes(AN: yes it was a pipe) at the rooftop. I pulled out two tubes and just like last time I'm going to use dual sword techniques.
When we reached the stairs leading to down to the 2nd floor we saw a swarm of undeads.
"You two wait here, I'll call you out once I'm done okay"
"Wait what are you going to d--"
I didn't listen to what Shizuka was about to say, I quickly jumped down the stairs and brought down my two weapons on two undeads head, I kicked their bodies towards the other undeads to offset their balance, and I charged forward attacking more undeads on my way, it only takes one hit to the head to kill the undeads because I'm using Herculean Strenght while attacking.
I would charge inside each room of the floor to make sure their were no undeads, if there were undeads I quickly wipe them out and continue to the other rooms.
After an 25 minutes of fighting I finally cleared out the floor.
"Everythings done down here! You can come down now!" I gave them my signal.
And they came down from the stairs while staying on guard, that is until they saw what I've done. They stood there in awe and amazement it seems they can't believe that I wiped out all the undeads in only 25 minutes.
"Just who are you?" Shizuka asked while showing a face of amazement and curiosity.
"I don't know myself" I replied while making a smile on my face.
"Lets continue shall we?"
And I walked towards the next staircase. I'm still not tired I can do this all day long!
