The Inevitable Fate

All beings in the universe aside from humans possess two essences within their cores; the golden essence and the dark essence. The beings of the Heavenly Realm tend to have their cores dominated by the golden essence, and their immortality arose through it. The Devils and Demons tend to have the dark essence in abundance, to give rise to their immortality. Spirits may possess both essences.

 It is only natural for all beings to become immortals as their Qi flows through one essence and spreads it throughout the meridians. It is the law of the universe for each being's immortality to arise from the essence which dominates them. Otherwise is never the case and should have never been. The circumstances for what might happen otherwise had also never been known, because it had never happened.

 Devils are always born as Devils and are reincarnated as Devils too. But Cypha was different. He was born as a being of the Heavenly Realm.

 Having Baoshi, God of Rain, as one's Master wasn't a privilege that just anyone could avail, but Cypha did. He was one of the best cultivators the cultivation world had seen and everyone including his Master expected him to soon attain immortality and become a God. And Cypha did become a God, but in a way, he shouldn't have.

 According to the law of nature, being a cultivator from the Heavenly Realm, his Qi should have flowed through his golden essence and spread it throughout the meridians but instead something quite contrary to expectations took place. Cypha's Qi instead of flowing through the dominant golden essence, flowed through the dark essence, present in a comparatively small amount, making him a Devil King.

 This caused havoc in the Heavenly Realm. The Devil Realm, on the other hand, which had been lying low for centuries, began rising again. There was nothing more intriguing to them, than the fact that a highly powerful immortal had become a Devil God. They started claiming him as their King.

 This posed a great threat to the Heavenly Realm and they decided to fight against Cypha and bring an end to his existence before he got dangerously out of control.

 Cyha's master, Baoshi, who had been the only one by his side all that time, advised him to hide in the Devil Realm, which was probably the only place safe for him at that time. Apparently, Baoshi promised the Heavenly Realm to end the Devil God, since he was his former disciple and as a Master, he should be the one to end the chaos that his disciple might cause.

 Cypha's body condition started deteriorating due to the amount of evil Qi flowing through his meridians despite the golden essence being in abundance. The only cure was the blood of a pure blood but not just any pure-blood.

The Devil Realm presented their King with the blood of many pure-blooded humans, but all in vain. It never worked on him. The pain resulting from the raging Qi clashing with the meridians that were made for accepting the golden essence became worse than ever. 

Baoshi finally used the Hole Of Future technique to find the cure to Cypha's heart. The Hole showed that the blood of a girl born within the Kingdom Of Riverdale, hundred years from that day would be the one and only cure for Cypha's heart, contaminated with evil Qi.

Condsidering the amount of suffering Cypha's body was facing, Baoshi sealed his body in the Devil Realm until the birth of the pure-blooded girl. All through these years he kept on providing Cypha's soul with his own golden Qi to make sure that his body would be able to control the evil Qi flowing through him once he woke up a hundred years later, as he would not be able to attain the girl's blood until she was mature enough and the golden Qi inside her was fully developed. 

 Baoshi then informed the Heavenly Realm that he had ended the Devil God and the world need not worry about any havoc.

 Cypha's Qi acted against the law of the universe. It was his inevitable fate and there was nothing he or anyone of even greater power could do about it.

After all, no one can do anything, once the universe starts playing the game of fate.

Terms to know:

Core – the part which acts as a heart and is the source of Qi.                                             Qi – the energy that comes from the core.                                                                          Golden Essence – the part of the core which produces golden qi and provides immortality to Heavenly Gods.                                                                                            Evil Essence – the part of the core which produces evil qi and provides immortality to the Devil and Demon Gods.                                                                                                      Meridians – the vessels through which Qi flows instead of blood.
