22 Ch. 22 Ribbons

The next morning nobody wanted to move. Well, next evening. Their sleeping schedules took a bit of a hit since they all stayed up the entire night.

It's Sunday and they had nothing planned. Until Ren reminded everyone about a paper they forgot about. Weiss and Pyrrha had a Wolf to think about that distracted them. Blake also had that same Wolf distracting her. Even Yang did. It's weird, almost like they were all…dating...the...…..same...…Guy.

Weird.

Anyway. Everyone is forced to get up, much to their dissatisfaction because they were all packed together. Well, Ruby and Yang felt like they finally received freedom from their cages.

Ruby escapes from between Pyrrhas softness and Alabast's...hardness…..

And Weiss escapes from….Yangs...softness...and Alabast's.....hardness…..

Weiss didn't know what a mans butt felt like before that night…or morning. But now she did. And she would conclude that it wasn't a bad experience in the end. She sort of understood why men had a thing for butts now.

Weiss being an idol had put her in the spotlight and she saw how depraved people can be. She was technically still under age but she was even more so when she started her idol career, and people had...done and said unspeakable things with her image online. That was the one and only time she would search herself up on the internet.

Anyway. After the sardines are unpacked off the bed, team RWBY goes back to their dorm room to finish the paper and change.

Team ANVL takes turns showering and changing. In the meantime they write the paper. It isn't a fun or short one so it takes them a while to do it. By the time everyone finishes they are all tired again and ready to fix their sleep schedules.

Alabast goes with Pyrrha to team RWBY's room after saying goodbye to Ren and Nora. They don't know if they'll be back.

When they get to the other teams room they are greeted by Ruby. "Hey you two!"

"You only have a little more to write Ruby, don't lose focus now" Weiss pleaded from beneath Ruby's bunk.

"I don't think I'll get used to their bunk beds" Pyrrha says as she looks at their 'diy' bunk beds. Ruby's bed is still held up only by rope and has the blanket over the top to act as a tent.

"I know what you mean" Alabast imagines that if anyone else would get up there besides Ruby it would fall. It's only because Ruby is so small.

"Hey….Alabast….can I talk to you in the other room…..privately?" Blake is standing beside her bed wearing her kimono top and skirt bottom pjs.

Alabast looks at her and sees that she is holding her arm and is looking to the side. 'This will be interesting' Alabast says inside his mind.

"Yeah. We will be quick so why don't you help Ruby finish up, Pyrrha?" Alabast says as he walks to their common room where Blake already is in now.

"Sure thing. See you soon" Pyrrha stands on a chair to see Ruby's bed is full of books and papers. She whispers quietly so Alabast can't hear even with his enhanced hearing. "The quicker you finish up the quicker we can listen in on their conversation"

"What?...We would...Never do such a thing…..never" You could see Ruby's brain convince itself slowly that it's ok and they should.

Alabast closes the door and turns to see Blake standing in the middle of the room.

"So what's your answer? Kitten" He couldn't help himself from calling her that.

"I've thought it over and over for the past while. I believe that I'm over Adam, but it still hurts" Blake gets a little misty eyes.

Alabast walks over to Blake and she looks up at him. "It'll hurt, but that's because you actually cared for him. Now it's time to heal"

Alabast grabs her Ribbon and undies it. He sees her cat ear that were kept hidden. He hands the ribbon to Blake.

"Thanks" she says quietly. She isn't worried about the others coming in and seeing her since Alabast's dram hides her if they walk in.

Alabast just nods and gives a small smile.

"I've moved on from Adam, and I thought about you. A future with you…..and the others. I thought about it for a few days….and I couldn't do it…..I couldn't see myself with you….-" Blake had tears at the edge of her eyes as she looked at him.

"That's ok. You've done nothing wrong Blake. I'm sorry for putting you in this position" Alabast is sad, he knew this was the most likely scenario, and it stings. But it doesn't feel like someone ripped his stomach from his body so he considers that a win…..at least.

Blake shakes her head. "That was before….last night….and this morning"

Blake gripped her ribbon in both her hands.

"That was before you didn't return like you said you would. We waited for you…and I thought I was ok. That you would be fine. You were the 'Black Wolf' of the White Fang. It wouldn't be easy to take you down. But as the time crawled by…..I started to worry. Not just as a friend….but something more. I knew you were safe but it was like something inside me realized that it needed you! What if you really didn't return?! What would I do then?!" Blake had small tears going down her face. She looked at him with her amber eyes. She had a slight blush that made Alabast want to hug her and tell her everything will be alright. But he knew he couldn't do that..Yet.

"It took you almost not coming back to make me realize how much you meant to me. When you did come back, I almost couldn't believe it. Then Ruby tackled you and it was really you. I felt how much my body and mind relaxed! I couldn't believe it. And then when I sat with Pyrrha while Ruby, Weiss and Yang got to be close to you...my teammates and friends….But I couldn't…..it made me feel horrible. I wanted to be there next to you and listen to you"

Blake whiles her tears on the back of her hands and sniffles a little.

"I listened to what happened to you and how you were used and I wanted to go kick Ayaka back to the White Fang. And I was jealous. You went to dinner and then went on a walk before you went to a club. I thought…'Why is it Ayaka, this crazy fox, instead of me!'. And then I heard you slaughtered Grimm for hours. I wanted to check your body for any wounds! Even though I know you're strong and your aura would heal them! It made me feel terrible that we were just sitting here on our butts while you were out there fighting for your life! I hated it! But then I realized you were fine and was just tired. I wanted to hold you in my arms and let you know you were safe now. It was so hard to watch them do that for you. And I didn't like being jealous of my teammates. That's when I decided that I needed you, Alabast. You aren't the 'Mad Dog' of the White Fang I initially thought you were. Alabast…..I want to be with you even if I have to share you…and I think it will be even more fun with the others as well… Alabast….I love you…" Blake looks up at Alabast who once he hears those words immediately brings his arms around her back and hugs her. She really took his feet out from under him. She made him think she would reject his feelings, but then she told him her monologue. He waited until she finished and it was worth it….Just to hear those last three words.

"Blake Belladonna, you have no idea how long I've waited to hear those exact words" He holds her tighter. "I told you I love you, and that I'd wait for you..I'm glad I did. And I'm sorry I lashed out at you…..it just…..hurt so much when you said I didn't understand your pain….. I-" Alabast remembered how he spilled his buried feeling out to Blake.

"I know you didn't mean any harm. It actually helped me a lot. I was confused, hurt, and I felt alone. But after listening to you, it helped. I realized that I had you and my team there for me. And that's also probably the reason I was going to turn you down. Because I was scared that I would mess everything up, and I was confused about my feelings until that incident. But now, I'm sure. I love you Alabast" Blake put her arms around Alabast, she realized how wide his shoulders are. And also just how strong he feels, all those tightly packed muscles. She had seen them, but it was different actually feeling them. She understands why Ruby was drooling over his muscles.

"I…love you Blake. You don't need to hide yourself from me. I'll always be here. And if I'm not, I'll be there soon. You can tell the others when you're ready, I'll be there for you if you want me to be. I know it's a big deal to you" Alabast takes a step back from Blake. He wipes her tears away and smiles at her. Her tears don't stop though. And she jumps into his chest.

He wants to put his arms around her but sees her ears. He wants to touch them, and let them. So he slowly brings his hands near them. Then he gently uses his fingers to scratch the back of them.

Blake makes a muffled sound. It was almost like a….moan.

Blake looks up to Alabast and has her eyes narrowed. "Hey! They're sensitive right now. They haven't been out in a while so be more careful!" She whispered dangerously. Promising payback if he did it again.

Alabast, with even more care than last time, scratched her ears and massaged them. He felt Blake grave his back and her breath against his chest. She had her forehead resting agains his pecs. Then he heard a purring sound. He took his hands away from her head and put them on her back. He felt her body slightly vibrate as she purred. This was one of the most adorable things he had ever experienced.

Blake quickly pushed Alabast back. He wasn't expecting it and tried to catch himself but tripped over a book and a small table that was behind him. He ended up banging into the door. He quickly rolled over and opened the door and saw the other girls fell over themselves just on the other side of the door.

Blake had already moved behind a chair to hide herself from Alabast. She couldn't believe that she actually purred. She was very embarrassed but then she saw the other four on the ground when Alabast opened the door.

"Girls….could it be that you were eavesdropping?" Alabast stood up.

Blake hood behind the chair and put her ribbon back on. She fumbled a bit since she didn't have a mirror to do it perfectly.

"Whaaat~? We weren't eavesdropping~" Ruby said. "We were simply….uhhh...trying to pick out a book from the bookshelf next to the door!"

"And you all were there…..picking out a book....and fell down in front of the door after I bumped into it...am I right?"

Ruby smiled brightly and got off the pile. "Exactly Ashy! I'm glad you realized it!" She stood proudly.

Alabast looked at the other girls who were untangling themselves from each other.

"If that's the case, what books did you look at?" Alabast had a smirk on his face.

Ruby looked to the bookshelf and saw the book Blake is usually reading and picked it up. 'Ninjas of Love'.

"I was thinking about 'Ninjas of Love', I asked the others to come over an-" Blake appears between Ruby and Alabast. She snatched the book from Ruby and holds it to her chest. She doesn't know why it was just on the bookshelf. She could have sworn she put a fake cover on it. She was blushing and glaring at Ruby. After a few seconds he turns to the side. "I don't care if you were eavesdropping, just be honest. I won't be mad and I won't do anything, I promise"

Ruby looks down at the floor for a second before looking back at Blake and Alabast.

"I'm sorry! I was eavesdropping! I just couldn't help it!" She proclaims.

Blake takes a step to the side. Alabast walks towards Ruby. "You said you wouldn't do anything!" She takes a step back.

Blake smirks at Ruby. "I said 'I' wouldn't do anything. I never said anything about Alabast"

Alabast walks closer to Ruby and she falls to the floor. He grabs her sides and tickles her. She squirms around on her back and tries to push his hands away but it doesn't work. Then she tries to get up but only rolls over onto her stomach and continues getting tickled. She's laughing and seems to be in pain but it's just the discomfort of being forced to laugh.

"Haha…I-I'm sorry…hahaha…I…won't….hahahaha…..do it again!…haha..forgive me….Alabast….hahaha….Cmon!…..Alabast!….hahaha….please…haha….never again!….hahaha…"

Alabast stops tickling her after he feels like she learned her lesson. Then he turns towards the others. Ruby stays face down on the ground trying to catch her breath.

"So, I believe that I don't need to ask if you three eavesdropped. Anything to say for yourselves?"

"""We love you?""" All three of them say.

"Was that a question?" Alabast fully stands up.

"""No! We love you! For sure!""" They they say in sync.

"Well, that's nice and all. But how do I make sure you won't do it again? I don't think Ruby will do it again" He looks at Ruby who is still recovering.

"….Never…again…" She says not lifting her head up to talk.

The others shudder. How bad was it? Surely it wasn't that bad. They wanted to find out, but weren't sure about it.

"We won't. Don't worry about it" Weiss says.

"I'll believe you. But if I catch you, you'll be worse than her" He points towards Ruby.

The girls nod.

Blake even feels a bit guilty about sicking Alabast on Ruby. But she deserves it so she quickly gets over it.

"Good. So did you guys here the news?" Alabast puts his hands on his hips.

"Blake has joined the group!" Ruby jumps up and miraculously recovers instantly.

"Basically, yeah" Alabast scratches his cheek. This is kinda awkward and is glad that he won't have to do this again since he doesn't want any more girlfriends.

"Yay!" Ruby tackles Blake and Yang also joins the hug. Yang hugs Ruby who is hugging Blake. She picks both girls up in a giant hug and swings them side to side.

"Congratulations Blake" Pyrrha politely says with a kind smile.

Weiss just smiles at Blake and gives her a nod. Blake smiles beautifully. She feels great now that she's with Alabast and now part of the group.

Alabast has a small smile. He enjoys looking at his girls. This honestly feels like a dream. He has such great friends, and now girlfriends.

He goes to the group of three and hugs Yang. He picks her up and moves all three girls towards Weiss and Pyrrha. He sets the three down and opens his arms. Weiss and Pyrrha hug Alabast with Blake in the middle.

This was great. He would give anything to make sure he could be with these girls the rest of his life. He wouldn't let anyone stand between him and his women.
