I know this tech tree! I played this once. This tech tree is coming from a Borderland series. This tech tree is filled with guns. Tons of guns.

However, what catches my attention is one item that can be expanded. This item is called Orb Shield or just a shield. This barrier has the same effect as a huntsman's aura, but unlike aura, this shield did not attract any Grimm.

However, what makes this device more important is that this thing can be mass-produced and re-created by a mundane human with the right qualifications. I can add an exotic effect like resistance to an element like Fire and Lightning, but it cannot be done without the power of Tinker as there is a BlackBox that prevents mundane people from recreating it.

A Blackbox is a power that lets any Tinker device be nigh-impossible for normal humans to recreate, reverse-engineer, or even maintain. Normal humans can recreate a few tinker devices, but that is far in between.

However, one of those items is this shield. Hmmm, I can make a machine that produces this shield in mass, or I could patent this shield and ask Ozpin to produce it. I did not need to spend my resources and even get money from it.

Hmmm, yeah. Let's go with the second option. I want the people of Remnant to have something new that can push back the Grimm. It would take them ten years before they could modify my original model, after all.

"Let's do this."

I take the material needed from the storage room and begin my work. A mission to let the people of Remnant grow has started.

Ozpin takes a sip of his coffee and releases a relaxed sigh. It has been three days since Angelo and team CFVY left their mission, and it has been a day since the army finally killed Grimm. Today is the day when he can relax and not do anything.

However, his fantasy gets shattered when his scroll is ringing. He looked at his scroll and saw that it was Glynda. He pressed the accept button and saw Glynda's face from the scroll with a sigh.

"Ozpin"

"Glynda, what can I do for you?"

"Angelo has arrived and wants to see you."

"Ah. Can you tell him that I'm busy at the moment?"

"He says that this is important and something that can help humanity against Grimm."

"Haaaa. Bring him in."

Ozpin put away his scroll and put down his cup of coffee. After waiting for a few minutes, the lift to his office opens up, and coming from the lift is his right-hand woman, Glynda and following behind her is Angelo.

Ozpin can see Angelo is excited about something.

"Ozpin, he is here."

"I can see that, Glynda. Anyway, what is it, Angelo? What kind of important thing do you need to talk about?"

Angelo smirks a little and takes a big piece of paper from his bag. He then opens it on Ozpin's table and shows it to the rest of the people in the office. Ozpin looked at the paper and saw that it was a blueprint of a device that he did not understand.

However, after reading the device's description, he widened his eyes. It was the blueprint for the personal shield that he created. Ozpin continues to read the blueprint for a minute before looking at Angelo and says.

"Can we really make this thing?"

"Yes. This is the reason why I came to you. I want to ask you a favor to contact someone that can mass-produce this thing."

"James would be ecstatic when he hears about this. I will tell him about this, and I want you in this meeting. Two days from now on."

"Yes. I will be there."

"Good. I was hoping you could make this device and present it in front of him. There will be tests, but if this is work, I promise you that you will set for life."

Angelo did not know this, but this shield is something that many scientists try to make. The scientist wants to create a shield for a specialist that did not have their aura activated or sealed so they can get into a deep part of Grimm invested forest to see how many Grimm and if they will becoming a threat to the city.

This job is the one that has the highest risk, and people want to decrease the risk percentage by creating some sort of shield that has the same effect as an aura but without the side effect of attracting Grimm. So far, they have failed. They always use Dust as their main source of power and protection, but Dust attracts Grimm.

If this device can be mass-produced, the risk of being a scout can be reduced by so much.

~Two days later~

"I hope this is really important as you told me it is, Ozpin. I need these people to do something for me."

"It is, James. Just wait and see."

James looks at his friend and nods his head. He had never seen Ozpin like this before. He had never seen his friend this excited before. James decides to trust his friend and wait for the person Ozpin told him to wait for.

While waiting for Angelo to arrive, James looks out the window and sees the Solar Panel farm not too far away from the tower. It was something new that he had never seen before.

"Ozpin. What is that?"

"Hmmm? Oh, that? That is a solar panel. It gathers energy from the sun. That thing powers this building."

Ozpin gives his answer while sipping his coffee. He covers his smug expression behind his mug as he sees James raising one of his eyebrows.

"Solar energy generator? Do you have a functioning solar energy generator here? Please don't lie to me, Oz. The group of scientists in Atlas already tried to make that kind of energy generator for years, and it still cannot be compared to Dust, and you tell me that you have a solar energy generator that can power up this entire building?"

Ozpin smiles at James' expression before nodding his head.

"Of course. Before you ask, yes, the person I want you to meet is the same person that built that thing for Beacon. He does it alone, and he is even in the process of building a smaller solar panel above this building. I will let you explore the energy generator room. It was very different from the last time you visited."

"... You will not let me borrow one of those solar panels, won't you?"

"No. That thing is expensive."

"How much?"

"Three million Lien."

Ozpin said the price Angelo told him for the price of the material. He did not really know about the real price, but if the material cost him that much, he knew that it would cost him at least five million for the whole package.

"Three million? That's it?"

"For the material."

"Ah."

James nods his head and is ready to ask more questions, but before he can do that, the lift opens up, and coming from it is Glynda and a familiar person. It was Angelo de la Luna. The person that he wants to recruit.
