Chapter 47
"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Reid let out a scream as his eyes watched everything in slow motion, his mother's blood splashing in the air as she was ruthlessly squashed.
His knees hit the floor as his aura burst out uncontrollably, enveloping him and pushing out in all directions.
He felt a sharp feeling in his eyes as his vision grew better than he had ever experienced. His purple aura condensed as it began to gain shape around him, appearing as a skeletal rib cage, growing as arms and the upper skeletal body formed with a demon like head with glowing yellow eyes and a malevolent grin on its bony mouth.
He felt his aura pool widen by a bit as the skeletal avatar stood with him in it.
"Unbelievable." Vivian who was on leaning on a rock with a hole in her chest that was slowly closing up said from her position.
She currently had no ability to move until she was done regenerating or else she would aggravate them before they could be mended.
The skeleton creature was suddenly armed with a sword in it's hand as it slashed forwards, severing the giant arm from the elbow.
Reid jumped forward, the Susano'o following him as it thrusted its giant sword into the large man's knees, effectively disabling any future possibilities of movement.
The man tried to get up on his other foot only for the sword to be ripped out of his knee and slice through the other knee, cutting off another limb.
With both lower limbs disabled, the man was left a struggling mess as he tried to pull himself away from the raging child.
He threw a punch at Reid to put some distance between them but it proved to work against him as his fist met a sharp sword the pierced into it.
Reid didn't stop there, pushing the blade further into the man's arm as his entire arm was split open in the middle like a banana.
He jumped forward again as the purple blade was suddenly covered in black flames, this time aiming for the neck as the blade cut through without resistance.
He landed on the man's chest as the large body fell over lifelessly. Reid's eyes immediately turned to Vivian who was barely on her feet with a black portal open behind her.
"You think you've won but you won't survive what comes next!" She said as she fell back into the portal just as black flames burst out around it.
"SHIT!!!" Reid cursed loudly as the portal closed a moment later.
He then noticed that while he was dealing with the giant man, he was slowly surrounded by numerous other enemies.
They looked to be over a hundred in number.
"You'll all pay for this!!!" He screamed as his aura surged even more, the skeletal avatar growing purple tendons as muscles formed on the arms.
They immediately rushed at him at once. They believed that with their superior numbers they could take him but they were wrong.
The Susano'o thrashed about, swinging it's sword in every direction at every opponent that showed itself.
The blade cut through the earth below them as the environment went through a major remodeling.
He didn't how long it had been but Reid felt like he had been doing this for hours. He had lost count of how many people he had slaughtered in his rampage.
It didn't matter how many he killed, they didn't stop coming. This continued for a while until he saw his giant blade cut through the last wave.
Everywhere was silent for a few moments as Reid took a moment to look around. All he could see was the result of his rage. The shattered earth, the bloodstains and corpses that painted majority of the ground…
In the end he could only feel empty as he felt all energy leave his body. It was only then that he realized his declining hp.
'I guess since I have [Gamer Body], I lose hp instead of going blind. How wonderful.' He thought sarcastically as his body felt empty and heavy, his aura almost depleted.
He heard a faint whistling sound, causing him to immediately look upwards, his eyes widening at what he saw.
He saw many small objects falling from the airships the flew above the destroyed village. He knew better than to think they were anything but bombs, his sharingan helping his sight.
The words of Vivian as she departed suddenly made sense as did her hasty exit.
'What do I do? I can't outrun it, the shockwave would be too powerful. The only other option has a very slim chance of working.' He pondered, watching in slow motion as the bombs sped downwards.
'In that case…' he thought as he glanced at the system.

He easily felt the large increase in his stats as his body was brimming with power.
'Now or never!' He thought as he poured all his aura into the Susano'o as skin-like began to grow on the body of the avatar, the glow in it's eyes increasing.
The aura condensed around the arms as he forced the aura to form a large circular shield on the Susano's forearms, raising them above himself.

The moment the moment the first bomb hit the shield, he knew he wasn't going to survive it as he felt his hp go down and his skin burn from the heat.

He grit his teeth as all he could feel was pain. He barely even noticed the effects of the skills he gained as pain riddled his entire senses.
He didn't know whether is was the continuous shockwave or the heat that affected his brain but either way he only managed to hold on for 30 seconds before he blacked out and with pain being his last feeling.
