My own telling of the adventures of team Rwby, while I do love the show iv'e always preferred the fan made content from a narrative perspective so this is simply my own take on that. I'm going to try and keep the narrative very close to the original show, the main deviations being character, lore and setting based. While characters are different I still want to present them as the characters from the show but from hopefully a more psychological standpoint. Book 1 will include the events before beacon and Book 2 will start with volume 1. If the title doesn't make it clear this hopefully wont be my definitive retelling of the story, I want to return to this at some later point with ideas I get while writing the books. It will have quite an inconsistent release but regardless please comment if you notice anything off with my writing or if you get bored through any sections. I wont be focusing on romantic elements as much as other fics do purely because Rwby is a mess when it comes to that aspect and I've always preferred writing platonic relationships over characters that just want to bang everyone, when I do write relationships some will very likely end in heartbreak, yes I'm evil.

This is in every way shape and form a passion project. I am not doing this because I think the original series is bad in any measure nor am I claiming to be fixing anything.

This is simply my own telling of the story I am doing for fun because I enjoy the original. Any thoughts of how my content is compared to the original is welcome (parts you believe I did better and parts I did worse) and of course if other fics or stories have done aspects in a way you believe are superior to my execution feel free to let me know!

I have a rough idea for how i want the feeling and tone of the series to be executed and I have plans for events up to volume 5, but for anything particular im trying not to work on anything past volume 1 until I actually reach the necessary story beats so I can focus on the moments im currently writing. There will probably be plot holes and retcons as I progress through that I can luckily come back and adapt in any way I want later down the line, but point them out nonetheless in case some arent intentional.

I will be taking from multiple sources to write this and will eventually create an inspirations page where I can list all of the fan made content I've shamelessly ripped off. If you follow other Rwby rewrites youll see a lot of content from them if I beleive it will add to the story better than what I can come up with, though my adaptations of the trailers should give you an ample understanding on how much I plan on changing/ adapting
