27 Expedition

Cinder was once again in her room, thinking about her mission to bring Vale down and steal the Maiden powers. Though, what that strange woman said gave her pause. She seemed so passionate and even a bit naive to try and turn Cinder around. Her train of thought was quickly derailed by giggling. She cast a heated glance at Neo and Neopolitan, who were in her room, currently having a competition as to who can screw with Emerald the best.

Apparently they started to pickpocket her at first, to see who could steal the most from her without Emerald noticing. She would scoff and ignore them if it wasn't for the fact that Neo was holding Emerald's thong between her fingers. The one Emerald had been wearing, apparently.

"How did you..." Cinder was genuinely impressed.

Neopolitan and Neo looked at her, then each other, then back to Cinder. Both were making an expression that screamed 'Hah..? You can't even understand this much? Amateur!' that pissed Cinder off. She was about to get up but Neo flicked Emerald's thong in her face and it hung there, right as Emerald and Mercury walked in.

"OKAY WHO STOLE MY-..." Emerald came in screaming but froze upon seeing Cinder's face.

Cinder looked right back at Emerald as well. Emerald quickly noticed the panties on her Mistress' face was the pair she was wearing now. The ones she thought she was wearing now. Mercury had a face full of disbelief and they all noticed Neo and Neopolitan had made faces that said 'Oh my.. how scandalous!' and both had blushed.

"Mi..stress..? You only had to ask.." Emerald blushed now and shyly looked away from Cinder.

Cinder was about to pop several blood vessels in anger. But first, she grabbed the underwear off her face and set it down before giving a death glare to Neo and Neopolitan.

"First of all... NO" Cinder clenched her fist but before she could utter another word, Neo and Neopolitan used their semblances to look like Cinder and Emerald.

Neo, looking like Cinder made a rather shameful and perverted expression and grabbed Neopolitan, who looked like Emerald's ass and started to do her best 'Issei' impersonation while looking like Cinder.

Then to top it all off, both of them made the 'scissoring' gesture with their hands and gave the real Cinder and Emerald a thumbs up while returning to their original appearance.

This time, Cinder really did pop a blood vessel in her eye. Just out of extreme annoyance she stood up and chased a fleeing Neo and Neopolitan out of the dorm. While this was happening, Emerald had on a furious blush and a look of desire.

"What the fuck..." Mercury just muttered while Cinder started chasing the duo and making death threats the whole time.

Neopolitan had turned back into her black haired appearance during the chase and started to do the scissoring gesture with her hands at Cinder again.

"I will mount your HEADS in our bathroom!!!" Cinder raged as they passed team RWBY down the hall, who seemed confused.

"Was that Neo and her friend being chased by that chick from Mistral?" Yang asked.

"Yeah.. Think they need help?" Ruby seemed slightly concerned but saw Cinder slip on a banana peel near team SSSN's room while Neo and Neopolitan laughed and outran her.

"Nope.." Blake muttered in a small amount of pity for Cinder.

Zwei popped his little dog head out of their room, having just been delivered to their room and ran at Cinder happily.

"ZWEIIII NO!" Ruby shouted as Cinder saw the furball run at her.

"Why is this happening to me today..?" Cinder muttered as she was tackled and her face was licked mercilessly by a hyperactive dog before he was pulled away by a cooing Weiss.

"Uhsorrygottagoonourmissionskaybye!!!" Ruby pulled her team along and Cinder just fumed on the floor while Emerald and Mercury ran over.

"Mistress! Are you.. okay?" Emerald asked, still shy from the situation earlier.

"Just rethinking life.." Cinder monotonously said.

"I think they broke her.." Mercury whispered to Emerald.

"Just..! ...nevermind I'll message Neopolitan and Neo to get their four foot asses to Mount Glenn and then... I'm going to have a bath.." Cinder got up, looking tired.

"Would you like company, Mistress?" Emerald asked with hope.

"Fine... I don't even care at this point" Cinder just sighed and walked back to her dorm as Emerald's eyes took on a sharp glint.

~My chance has come! Thanks to that massage manual Neo gave me a few months ago.. I'll convert the Mistress to 'Yuri-ism' thanks Neo!~ Emerald giddily followed Cinder, who hadn't realized she was in danger.

"Guess I'll go.. train?" Merc said to nobody, his accomplice and boss had left already.

-Bullhead landing platform, Beacon-

After Ozpin's speech about individualism, he walked over to teams RWBY and JNPR and handed them both a single mission.

"This will be a joint mission. Both of your teams are to 'scout' out Mount Glenn and figure out what lies there. I've seen images of the White Fang's forces lurking there. I know this is a concern of Miss Belladonna's, so I chose to send all of you over there in hopes of stopping whatever plans they have there. I'm sending JNPR too, since there may be a lot of them there. Good luck and report to your Huntsman at Bullhead landing zone B" Ozpin gave Neo a look and she gave him a thumbs up, making him smile.

"Joint mission, baby. Let's go 'scout out' Mount Glenn" Neo clapped her hands.

"Why'd you say it like that? Are we.. not just scouting?" Yang asked with a hand raised.

"No, Yang. We will. Then we're gonna sweep up the White Fang" Neo informed her as they walked over to Doctor Oobleck.

"Hello, Children! Who's ready to fight for their lives!?" Doctor Oobleck shouted excitedly, so Neo matched and even outdid him.

"AWWW YEAH! We got a badass Doctor AND Huntsman, guys! WOO!" Neo threw her arms up as everyone else had an awkward expression.

"Hehe.." Pyrrha laughed at Neo's enthusiasm and Blake secretly took 30 photos using the System.

~Too adorkable..~ Blake blushed.

"What? Tell me you guys aren't pumped!?" Neo asked as Yang, Ruby and Weiss deflated.

Nora fed off her leader's excitement though, thinking she knew something she didn't.

"YEAH!! Professor Oobleck!" Nora cheered after Neo.

"Doctor!" Oobleck commented.

Ren couldn't figure out if Neo was being extremely sarcastic and it worried him.

Then after a very fast speech, Doctor Oobleck zipped over to the airship.

"Y..Yeah! Doctor Oobleck.. yaay!" Ruby half heartedly cheered.

"Hey guys! Where are you going?" Sun and Neptune walked over.

"Oh.. you know.. just outside the Kingdom?" Ruby stated.

"Cool.. cool" Sun replied and then followed with an awkward silence.

"Ah yes.. breathing is fun" Neo cut in as Sun was staring at Blake.

"Hey, Suuuun? Why're you staring at Blake? Breathe. Hey, Sun? Think about breathing. Just remember.. breathe.. Annnd now you're doing it manually, enjoy! Come on teams!" Neo whistled as she marched on towards the Bullhead.

"Oh god.. Why is it so hard to breathe now!?" Sun yelled as the teams followed Neo.

"Overprotective aren't you?" Yang teased.

"Pffft... maybe? Guy's simping hard for m-our Kitty" Neo shrugged.

"Oh really.." Blake hummed and put her head on Neo's as they walked, smiling the whole way.

"Hey you saw him too. Don't act like I'm crazy.." Neo complained much to Blake's amusement.

"I know, I know.." Blake responded with a small and content smile.

While on the ride there, Blake continued to subtly tease Neo as Weiss and Ren talked to Oobleck. Ruby and Nora were confused by the word 'tussle' which Yang corrected. Finally arriving, they all hopped off in some cool way or another.

"I like how we all did the Superhero landing.." Neo muttered with pride and amusement before looking at the ruins of the attempted expansion of Vale.

"A what..?" Pyrrha asked.

"I'll have to show you all the 'cultural knowledge' I've acquired one day.." Neo disappointingly huffed.

"Oh.. great!" Pyrrha happily retorted.

"You too, Blake. Eh.. fuck it, culture for everyone" Neo exclaimed with a nod.

"Ah, that aside! Ruby! I thought I told you to leave all your bags back at school?" Oobleck looked at Ruby as she flinched.

"But.. uh! You hadn't told us to listen to you yet.. so I didn't" Ruby retorted.

"Ruby.. are you a genuis?" Neo's eyes widened as she thought to use that excuse next time she went against orders.

"Eh..?" Blake just looked on at Neo praising Ruby in stunned confusion.

"She's not wrong.." Oobleck stated with a thoughtful expression.

"See?" Neo gestured at Ruby like she was Newton.

"Very well Ruby leave your bag here, we can pick it up when we return" Oobleck ordered.

"But-I-whuh.." Ruby shrank in on herself as Oobleck started to talk again.

"Young Lady what in the world could you possibly have in that bag that could be so important-" He was cut off though, as Zwei stuck his head out of her bag.

"Well hello Scrungo the Second!" Neo pet Zwei with a smile as Blake backed away.

"We're here.. to investigate an abandoned urban jungle teeming with death and hostility.. and you brought... a dog?" Oobleck asked.

"I..uhh-" Ruby panicked but Oobleck interrupted.

"GENIOUS!" Oobleck and Neo both shouted.

"Dogs are fantastic at tracking. Great noses and were often used by the ancients as scouting partners" Neo said while lifting up her imaginary glasses.

"Yes! Miss Jasmine understands perfectly!" Oobleck shouted out.

"Hehe.. I'm a genius!" Ruby proudly posed.

Hours later they eventually set up camp after dispersing a group of Beowolves. Neo could swear she heard a Ninja sound effect from Blake when she split one in half. They were all questioned about why they want to be a Huntsman and Huntress after killing the seventh group of Beowolves. A question in which Neo replied to with.

"Let's see.. what do Hunsmen do? Kill Grimm, help the people, fight off any terrorists and criminals.. Yeah, I wanna do all of that. Why? Let's say that I think that's my calling in Remnant. I enjoy all of those things, to be honest" Neo casually told him.

"I see.. an interesting answer!" Oobleck wrote something down, probably an evaluation for Ozpin.

As Neo sat around a campfire with the two sleeping teams, she looked down and watched the Grimm wander the empty streets silently. Blake seemed to be awake though and she watched the flame, thinking of what to do once she sees Adam again.

"Neo.. do you ever get scared?" She softly asked the small girl.

"Yeah, I do. Why?" Neo replied back in a whisper.

"I never see it.. how do you deal with that?" Blake was gestured over towards Neo.

Blake moved her bag closer and Neo put Blake's head on her lap while petting her head.

"Well.. I make a reference. You know back in the test at the start of Beacon? When that Deathstalker came running at me? I made a Jojo reference. Something about its familiarity to me.. is soothing. It made me focus on something other than fear. It didn't go away but it gave me confidence. I still drop references when I'm afraid of something. Or just for shits and giggles, if I'm being honest?" Neo smiled to herself.

"I didn't know.. What do you think.. I should do when I see Adam again?" She asked so quietly.

"Face him and acknowledge him for what he is. Whether that be good.. or bad, which seems more likely. Do not run away, Blake. You have friends and they care about you. Almost as much as I do. Crazy, isn't it?" Neo continued to stroke her black hair soothingly.

"You are kinda crazy.. Thank you, Neo. Can I stay like this?" Blake asked with a yawn.

"You just figured that out? Ha. Yeah, stay here with me. I'd like that" Neo rubbed her cat ears as she fell asleep.
