58 Chapter 55: The Final Act Pt1

Demigra pulled Scarlet into his time rift as he was in Scarlet's world, the world of Remnant. But he was inside Evernight Castle but there seemed to be some slight changes to Salem's castle.

Scarlet slid across the floor as Demigra threw her across the room, of course he was in his normal form. Scarlet hit the table in the middle of the room as she coughed. "The hell? I did what you asked me to do!"

Demigra laughed as he slammed his staff down on the floor. "You didn't think I'd notice?" A hologram projector of Scarlet talking to Cell and Kermit about helping her stop Demigra was being played, same for the one where she told Tohka to warn the others. "You think I didn't take notice? This whole time I was sending you on your crazy journey just to buy myself some time."

"Time?" Scarlet asked as she stood up. "What do you mean by that?"

Demigra smirked as he pulled her in with an invisible force, her hand gripping her throat. "Why to get stronger than you of course, you really think I'd let a low life hybrid as yourself get stronger than me? A Demon God? Please, you were just my pawn in world domination. You think you're the one who can rule the multiverse, but you're highly mistaken girl." His grip on her neck got tighter as he lifted her up off the floor. "You were gaining allies who were left alive, to help you stop me. Yet, you've failed to notice one thing Scarlet." He threw her across the table as she had hit a cage. "I have time breakers going around those same worlds you have killing those who were left alive."

Scarlet got up as she looked at the cage to see a beaten and bruised Ruby and a bloody Qrow inside it. "You two?" She glanced back at Demigra as she slowly got up. "What time breakers? You have no time breaker mask for that. Towa and Mira were the only ones who did. So how... How is that even possible?"

Demigra laughed again. "I don't need any type of powerful race to put the breaker mask on. I've simply did as I pleased." He smirks as he floats in thin air. "I've made time breakers out of some of your enemies from this world. For instants... General James Ironwood, he is under my control and he is now a time breaker."

"How? I killed him with my own two hands!" Scarlet barked as she then remembered that odd feeling when her and Nightmare showed up in Remnant, she turned to look at Ruby. Eyes nearly bulging out of her head. "You didn't... You didn't do what I think you did, did you?!" She snapped at Ruby as she saw her flinch and curl into a ball.

"I-I'm sorry! I used the Super Dragon Balls to wish everything back to normal!" Ruby cried as she hid her face. "I didn't know this was going to happen!" Her silver eyes hadn't seemed to unleash it's hidden power from what she was doing.

Scarlet so wanted to kill devour Ruby and take her silver eyes for herself, but she glanced back at Demigra as she growled. "You planned this all along didn't you?"

"Surprise." Demigra said with a toothy grin. "I figured... if I couldn't take over one world without Beerus and the time patroller's getting in the way of my plans, I thought. Why not take over another world, an entire multiverse! And that's where Ruby's wish and you came into play. I was stalling for time when I crashed your wedding with that Spirit." He cackled as black bolts of lightning struck down on Scarlet from above. "After Ruby made her wish, and when you and your so called spirit friends and loving wife attacked me. I faked my own death, to get you to be my personal puppet to do my dirty work.. And it worked like a charm, I knew you'd ask for help from others to stop me. So I came here, and changed things to my liking. Of course Forgotten and Broly weren't in my plan. That just brought things to a sudden halt, but all the energy I have gotten from your battle with those two fired me up big time."

Scarlet was yelling in pain as more and more blots of black lightning struck her from above, Demigra laughed as he watched. Oh the pain was unbearable for the Grimm girl as this dark lightning made her numb from head to toe. The bolts of lightning stopped as she fell over on the floor next to Ruby and Qrow's cage.

"Aw, is play time over?" Demigra asked as he grins. "And you call yourself a Grimm... How pathetic." He teleported out of the room leaving the three there.

Steam and smoke were coming off of Scarlet's body as she was numb all over, Ruby glanced over to her as she sniffs, she wiped away her tears as she tried breaking the lock on her and Qrow's cage. "Come on.... Open..."

Qrow coughed as he looked at her. "Don't red.... my bad luck semblance is only going to make things worse on us..." He had no idea Scarlet was on the floor as he was blind in both eyes. "Besides.... I can't even see where to go.."

Ruby sat back down as Qrow had a point, Ruby was covered in scratches from what looked like claw marks from something or someone. "I need to tend to Scarlet, she's been hit the hardest than we have uncle Qrow. She's numb all over."

"Wait, that bastard Grimm girl is here?" Qrow sat up, only to bump his head. "Ow son of a..."

Ruby looked sorry for Scarlet, but deep down she really wasn't. She caused their chaos the first go round when it came to the war. "She is. But I need to help her.... She has to know what Demigra is hiding."

Qrow didn't seem too sure, but let out a sigh. "We can't risk helping a killer Ruby... Besides, we're being watched twenty four seven..."

Scarlet lied there still numb as if her entire body had fell asleep, her eyes moved to look at the cage. She couldn't speak either, when she tried a tingle was sent through her entire body. That is until she sensed a familiar surge of magic sky rocketing towards the castle. It couldn't be, there wasn't anyway.. She was for sure that she had left them for dead with her Grimm.

"FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST!" Natsu busted a gaping hole in the side of Evernight castle as he pounded his fist into his palm. "Alright, where are you? My nose is telling me you're here somewhere Scarlet."

Scarlet was confused, how did Natsu get here? And was he alone? She tried to move her body but couldn't, her left arm tingled as she tried moving it. She could smell Natsu just below her on the lower floor of the castle.

"Maybe it isn't such a good idea to just come barging in." Wendy said as she sniffs the air. "I can smell her too, but I don't know where she is.."

Natsu smirked. "If she thinks hiding from us is going to save her ass, then she's going to have a hard time dealing with us!"

Us? Scarlet thought to herself, what did Natsu mean us? Was the entire Fairy tail guild there, no it couldn't be possible. Demigra told her that his time breakers were finishing her job. Then it hit her, the magical power that rose from Natus and Wendy were out of this world. Scarlet was left puzzled wondering who else was here besides those two. Then she heard another voice from below that didn't belong to any Fairy Tail member.

"Jeez, can you be any louder? I'm starting to regret teaming up with you." Tohka said as she looked around. "We should split up to search the entire area, remember. Stay on your guard, we don't know where Demigra will pop out at."

"Yeah we hear ya." Natsu said clearly not listening. "HEY! SCARLET! IF YOU CAN HEAR ME, SAY SOMETHING!"

Tohka face palms as she sighs. "Correction, we'll split up... Natsu you just keep watch for any stragglers that may have followed us."

Natsu scoffed as a small flame of fire came out of his mouth. "Party pooper."

"Wendy, come on. You and me will find Scarlet." Tohka said as she looks at her. "The others should be arriving soon, hopefully."

Others, what others? Scarlet was really stumped now as she tried moving again but nothing. A shadow stretched out from the other side of the room as Alucard walked out, he glances down at the Grimm girl as he grins.

"Well I'll be damned. You've let yourself get numb." Alucard said. "Hmm, maybe this will help you get back on your feet." He poked his finger with a needle as some of his blood dripped from his finger and into Scarlet's mouth. "Eat up, I've got plenty of it."

Scarlet's eyes widen as she felt the vampire's blood trickling down her gullet as her eyes glowed, her body moving on it's own as she leaned backwards and stood up, her bones popping into place as her head snapped forward.

"That's better." Alucard said with a grin. "I'm sure you're wondering how we got here, simple really. Once we noticed those puppets show up, we took action and made sure they were dealt with." He walked over to the cage as he shot the lock off as the door opened. "Don't worry they aren't dead. We used their time rifts to get here, and right on time too it seems. If we hadn't, you would've been rotting away with these two."

"That explains it." Scarlet said as she looked at Ruby and Qrow

Ruby got out as she helps Qrow out. "Who are these people?"

"We're the back up." Alcuard said with a toothy grin

Scarlet kept her eyes on Ruby as she walked over to her. "Take Qrow down to Wendy, she can heal him with her healing magic, but first.. What do you mean by Demigra hiding something?"

Ruby hesitated as she had never seen Scarlet in this new form of hers before, the only reason how she knew it was her was from her voice, but the silver hair and the slightly different appearance she had was something new to the huntress as she had only seen Scarlet with her red hair and nothing more. "U-Uh well..."

"HE WHAT?!?!?" Scarlet was angered by what Ruby had told her. "If he lays one finger on Kurumi, I will kill him!"

Ruby was startled as she wasn't expecting this kind of out burst from her. "T-The thing is... We don't know where he's keeping her held up at..."

Scarlet growled as she had her fist clinched tightly, blood dripped from her hands as her nails had dug into her palms. "I will find him myself and save Nightmare."

Tohka had over heard this as she gripped the handle of her sword. "Damn it... I knew something was off."

"I could help you locate him." A voice spoke from above the group. "Hiya, the names Fu, I couldn't help be notice the rips and tears in and space. I have to say, I love what you've done to everything."

Scarlet glared at Fu as she grabbed his leg and pulled him down. "Spill it demon boy. Where is Demigra!"

"Well...." Fu said trailing off. "It's not in this world, or anywhere else you can easily access. It's like in between time, space and reality itself."

"Where Fu... Where?!" Scarlet was getting angry by the minute. "If you don't spill the info, I'll kill you as well."

Fu backed up a bit. "Whoa easy there cowgirl. It's the time rift itself, it's a massive open area full of giant time crystals that can be used to see which areas need to be corrupted or altered. Like I said I can take you there..."

"Then do it." Scarlet said as she growled.

Fu smirked as he cuts open a time rift portal. "Right this way."

Scarlet was about to go through as she smelt Natsu, she turned her head as she saw him glaring up at her from below.

"When you get back and finished kicking that demon God in his butt, lets fight again on different terms. And not just crazy hungry murder kay?" Natsu asked as he gave her a thumbs up as he smirked.

Scarlet scoffed as she had a small smirk on her face before jumping through the rift. Ruby stayed with Qrow as Wendy was using her healing magic on him. "....Please be careful.... I won't be able to heal you if you're out of reach Scarlet."
