48 Chapter 45: Last breath

Ryuko fell from the sky as she had her arm sliced off by Scarlet, the life fibers in her body didn't have time to reattach her arm. Wendy was now in Scarlet's eye sight as she came flying down towards the young dragon slayer.

"You're mine dragon slayer!" Scarlet yelled as she flew down with her arm reaching out to grab Wendy by the face.

Erza got up and threw herself towards the two, she knocked Wendy out of the way as she was grabbed by Scarlet instead. "Looks like you lost this..."

Scarlet grins as she licks her lips. "Did I?" Without any warning her jaw unhinged as she stuffed Erza's head into her Grimm maw, and started to gulp Titania down.

The Fairy Tail members stopped what they were down as they froze in fear at what they were seeing, Erza kicked her legs as her until there was nothing left of her. The sound of Scarlet slurping Erza down filled the air as she grins widely, she had consumed Titania as she cackled.

"ERZA!" Makarov and Natsu shouted.

"Oh yeah...that's better, now I have twice the fire in my belly now." Scarlet said as she licked her lips again. "What's wrong? You stopped fighting. Do you really want me to kill you all?"

Natsu burned with hate as his body was surrounded in flames. "You monster...." He gritted his teeth as he clinched his fist. "You'll pay for that! Fire dragon iron fist!" He threw a fire punch at Scarlet as he hit her square in the jaw.

Scarlet grins as she knees him in the chin and round house kicked Natsu. "What was that? A mercy attack? This is real magic!" She threw her arms in front of her and shot two spiral magic beams at Natsu.

"Iron dragon sword!" Gajeel said as his iron sword blocked the magic spiral's. "Damn, you're a cocky one aren't you?"

Wendy was trying to heal Ryuko, as her arm was only a few inches away from her. But she couldn't just get up and get it, her legs had been bruised badly to the point they were black and blue. The hard crash from falling from so high made sure of it.

"Wendy. Get my arm...I need to reattach it, before Scarlet has a second course meal." Ryuko said.

Wendy glanced at Ryuko's arm as she went over to grab it, she brought Ryuko's arm back over as she placed it down next to her. Sure enough, the life fibers started to glue themselves back together like nothing happened. "Wow, but how are you going to fight? Your legs are broken."

"I know, I think I might need to pop them back in place, but it's going to hurt like hell." Ryuko said as she winched and rubbed her legs. "Out of all the times to be hurt like this, it has to be now..."

"We'll get through this." Senketsu said. "Right now we have to worry about the Grimm and Scarlet, she's already had her fill twice. The mixture of our blood and Erza.. She must be stopped."

"Yeah I hear ya Senkets." Ryuko said looking down at him. "Hey Wendy, this may sound far fetched... But maybe you, Natsu and Gajeel should do a combination attack."

"You think so?" Wendy asked as she rubs her chin. "That might work, but look. Gajeel and Natsu are preoccupied with Scarlet already. I don't see a clear opening for me to get in, unless." She glances at Carla. "You can fly me behind and above Scarlet."

"Good thinking you two." Carla said as she grabs Wendy from behind and flies into the sky. "Whenever you're ready."

Wendy glared at Natsu and Gajeel with a smirk, both dragon slayers saw the smirk on her face. All three of them leaned back as their cheeks puffed up. "Fire dragon, Iron dragon, Sky dragon. ROAR!" All three of them blew out their attacks at Scarlet as Wendy hit Scarlet from behind with her sky dragon roar, while Natsu and Gajeel's hit Scarlet from the front.

"Booyah!" Wendy said. "Score one for the slayers."

Natsu sniffed the air as he glances up. "No way!"

Scarlet's eyes glowed as she glares down at them. "You're too slow!" Shadow arms reached up from the ground and grabbed the dragon slayers as Wendy yelped and screamed.

"Let us go!" Natsu barks. "Come here so I can kick your ass!"

Scarlet cackles as she glanced over to Makarov who had grew massive. "Ara ara, I have the perfect Grimm for you."

The Leviathan rose up out of the ocean depths as it roared loudly, it was closer than anything as it slowly walked towards Magnolia.

What remaining town's people were left were running as one tripped and yelled. "Run it's Godzilla!"

Another one came running by to help them up. "It looks like Godzilla, but it's not."

Makarov turned around as he spots the Leviathan approaching. "You've got some nerve messing with us!" He glanced back to see Scarlet was gone. "Where did she go?"

The Leviathan shot a beam from it's mouth towards Magnolia as it hit the town causing a explosion. The impact was so strong that it made a mushroom cloud rise up into the sky, Scarlet laughed as she floated over heard and grins. "How does it feel? Knowing that all of your time and effort has been for nothing? That your guardians have failed you? That everything you've built will be torn down before your very eyes?"

Gray and the other guild members were trying to fight off the Grimm, but more kept coming as three Ursa's slammed Gray, Juvia and Elfman down.

"But divide them, place doubt into their minds, and any trace of magic they once had will wash away." Scarlet said as she glances at Makarov. "Of course, they won't realize it at first. Like you, they'll cling to their fleeting hope, their aspirations. But this is merely the first move. So you send your guardians. Your wizard's and celestial wizard's. And when they fail and you turn to your smaller helpless form, know that you send them to the same pitiful demise. This is the beginning of the end. And I can't wait to watch you and this world burn to ash..."

The Leviathan shot another beam towards the Fairy Tail guild as Makarov blocked it as he growls. "You're becoming a pest, I have no choice but to use it.." He put his hands together as the middle started to glow. "Fairy law!"

Scarlet had a wide grin on her face as she laughs. "You think that will stop us?! Look around you old man, your precious guild is going to be wiped off the face of the Earth!" She threw her arm up into the air as she snaps her fingers, Nevermore's shirked as they came out from the clouds above. Swarming down towards Makarov and started clawing at him.

"Ahh, I can't let this go down! We are Fairy Tail, our emotions and feelings make us strong and who we are!" Makarov said.

"Then take your last breath, then will we see how strong you and your precious guild are!" Scarlet barks loudly.

"I've had enough!" Natsu roars. "You've crossed the line and made an enemy of Fairy Tail! You kill for joy, yet you don't consider how others feel about losing loved ones!" He struggled as he burned brighter. "Let me go so I can show you what I can do! Once I'm done with you, you're going to go home crying with your tail between your legs!"

Scarlet laughs again as she grins. "Fine then." She snapped her fingers again as Natsu was free from the shadow arms. "Come on then dragon slayer! Face me in mortal combat!"

Natsu stood up as he glares at Ryuko. "Are you with me on this one?"

Ryuko nods as she winched in pain holding back a scream as she pops her legs back into place. "Yeah, we're all fired up now!"
