~Third POV~

From the outside gates of the basement room of the Spider hideout in Vale City, one of the guards began to talk as they move towards the door, "Hey."

The other guard next to him responds confused, "Yeah?"

The other spider guard grunts and questions himself, "You ever wonder why we're here?"

That was when the other spider grunt responded in a very search life philosophical answer to his companion, "It's one of life's great mysteries, isn't it? Why are we here? I mean, are we the product of some cosmic coincidence, or is there really a God watching everything? You know, with a plan for us and stuff. I don't know, man, but it keeps me up at night."

Both stared at each other in silence before one of them broke the ice looking at his philosophical friend weirdly, "… What?! I mean why are we out here, in this Spider base?"

Getting himself embarrassed by this he tried to change the topic, "Oh. Uh... yeah."

"What was all that stuff about God?"

"Uh...hm? Nothing."

"You wanna talk about it?"

"No."

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

*Rattle*

Before they could continue talking about the life of God they have their selves armed holding their handguns before one of them shrugs with little concern as he replied, "Eh. It must be the other bitch the boss got – "

Soon enough they were knocked out cold as Jack materialized himself using <Petal Burst> as he soon came out as he rubs his hands and thought, 'That was easy. Something I learned when fighting most high-level people is that if they are unaware, they can be brought down by a sneak attack.'

Taking care of them while gaining EXP in the process Jack began to search through them as he found their Scrolls and used <Technopathy> to get the info needed about his location as his eyes widen a bit as he soon got himself into deep thinking.

Thinking to himself Jack soon thought something when he connected his mind with the Scroll info logs of the Spider Grunts as he finally found out what situation he was in, 'I see… so I'm actually somewhere in the abandoned cities near Vale City but close enough to Mt. Glenn destroyed settlements in the underground pathway city.'

Scrunching his face while Jack was being brought to their base they bag him to make sure to not let them know where the path is as he thought distastefully of the situation, 'Even if I sent my Locker Weapon to me it will still take some time to search at the right location. And judging from the info I got only grunts are here until Lady Beat arrives that is bad.'

Leaving with no time Jack began to use <Sneak> as he began to use his skill Fusion to begin fusing a new skill by checking the screen from above wasting the two for something more useful for him.

Felting a change within his soul as Jack immediately began to think to himself to see a new skill he gained wondering if it was the same as a certain orange-wearing ninja, 'Perfect. With these, I wonder if I get my own variation of the Shadow Clones like Naruto. Skill List. <Shadow Clone>.'

Next Jack sees what's going on the screen as he saw his new fused skill reading the details about it.

AP Cost: 500 AP per Clone.

Description: A Fusion of <Via Sun> and <Shadow> this skill the user to create one or more copies of themselves with equal skills and strength at the time. Unlike the previous skills used to fuse, shadow clones are physically real. They possess the same clothing, damage, and transformations as the user at the time of their creation.

Most tools and weaponry are copied when the shadow clones are created because they are visually identical and possess the same Aura as the user, shadow clones are indistinguishable from their original.

Shadow clones usually disperse once they are struck hard enough, but they are capable of enduring injuries for a time. When a clone's task is completed, it can disperse itself or be dispersed by its user. Once dispersed, the clone's experiences and remaining Aura are transferred back to the user restoring their AP in the process.

Jack's eyes widen at this new info provided as he grins happily as he thought to himself with a wicked grin on his face, 'It is the Shadow Clone Jutsu! Oh boy, I wish I have fused this sooner and this could be used, to grind my Skills for double the amount needed! <Shadow Clone>!'

Immediately using the Skill Jack's aura shined brightly as it soon parted creating 3 separate clones of himself looking identical to the next the original smirks happily at this, "Now that's one handsome guy. Enough being a narcist here you guys got the idea of what to do?"

*Shiii*

One of them began to take out an item from their <Deep Pockets> making Jack smile as one of his clones speak, "Yup. Use the paralysis potion on these chumps and jump the shit out of them Jojo Style OG?"

Jack nods his head happily but also expresses a sad smile on his face talking to himself, "Sigh… Shame I won't have the chance to Jojo jump them but have fun… I is that how I say it to you guys right?"

All of them shrug while Jack uses <Observe> on the paralysis potion seeing a blue screen detailing the item.

Description: This potion if made in contact with another person will immediately paralyze for the remainder of 1 Minute. In that minute they won't be able to move themselves leaving them to be defenseless.

They all nodded absentmindedly as they all used <Petal Burst> each holding their own Paralysis Potion immediately as the sounds of grunts of Spiders members soon fell down along with some ruckus caused by Jack.

Seeing the situation at hand he glances at his Status screen as he saw the numbers of his EXP bar raise up Jack concludes his own conclusion of the cause with his hand over his chin, "Hm. Guess I get EXP in real-time experience as my clones do the work clearing out the members of the Spiders."

While Jack's clones gather EXP for him as well as searches for what's happening he returned down to the room where Neo was carefully tied up from her wrist to her legs Jack frowns as he began to take a careful look at her.

Multiple ideas ran through his head on how to deal with Neo defenseless considering his options of just ending her for the EXP and suffering the consequences from Roman actively going for him if he ever knew.

Another was to use her as an ally in hopes of using Neo to fight against Lady Beat as a last resort if she came but didn't consider it as it was a last resort.

Jack considers his options placing his hands together and merely looking at Neo's unconscious body holding the Healing Potion (Low) on the floor.

The only thing left to do was Jack doing some light training to begin his daily objective as he let his clones do the work while keeping the real dangerous threat nearby close to him to react if need be.

Elsewhere inside a private Bullhead ride with the Spiders logo on it, Lady Beat began to check her Scroll with text messages.

She frowns at this seeing that the Scrolls summarize that the boy escaped and have started to capture them all in different places making her scowl at this.

Taking the time to breathe in and out she began to go inside the Bullhead with her items for their Vale shipment as she talked to the pilot, "Go. We are to leave immediately and leave behind the others."

The pilot Spider member glanced at Lady Beat with some confusion but paled seeing that Lady Beat threaten the poor pilot in her cold words, "Didn't I say we need to leave? Do… I… need… to… repeat… myself…?"

Feeling the fear of what her superiors would do for not listening the pilot did what she was told, "No madam! Will leave right away! Now on lift-off!"

*Brrrr*

Hearing the engines roar from the Bullhead the flying vehicle began to lift off Lady Beat shakes her head at this mumbling to herself, "Tch. The boy became a handful and no way I'm risking a chance to get caught and fight against the Veteran Huntress Glynda. Not worth the risk but I hope that brat of Roman gets placed in a jail cell… Hahaha!"

Laughing lightly to herself she returns inside the Bullhead waiting to return to the Mistral Kingdom.

~Neo POV~

Ugh…

Groaning a bit as I try to move again – why can't I move?

Recalling myself together again –

The boy!

My eyes widen in alarm as I try to regain my movements, I noticed I was tied up from my wrist and legs tied up as I glare at the boy as if he was meditating or something.

*Rustle*

As I tried to move, I noticed the cuffs that were on the boy Jack was what Roman said or Cinder bitch says to us to capture him but –

Wait for a second…

Actually, he does remind me of the time I first met him when he handed me over that ice cream a few weeks back and him again at the docks ruining Roman plans as well as getting scolded by the fire bitch.

Now the same guy I was supposed to target is now the one with the keys to helping me but – ouch!

Moving my body, I see that my former Headmistress tortured my body is still evident as shown before as I feel the aches and needs for my body to be resting it's been overused, and the painful feelings aren't helping.

Looking at the target I see he opened his eyes as he began to speak to me with a frown on his face, "Well looks like you finally woke up sleeping beauty. Been about 4 or 5 hours since you were knocked out. You certainly took your time with your wounds recovering."

Why the hell is he frowning?

It looks as if I wronged him or something.

Or he is simply admiring my beauty and I mean how I can blame him I'm cute and sexy.

I could use that to my advantage to free myself if need be but first I need to figure out what the hell is going on here.

Sighing his breath, he began to speak to me in a calm tone holding some kind of medicine with him, "Sigh… can you speak, or are you mute? Just nod to my questions and I'll give you the medicine the Spider Grunts had on them."

Frowning at this I have nothing to lose and his only a first-year brat at that.

And much less unbelievable those idiots of the spiders would leave me with medicine probably poison or euphoric drugs...

His easy pickings but what confuses me is how... wait…

I think I remembered Roman saying this guy had multiple semblances on his dock heist that went bust. So, his Semblance is a copy base with either a utilitarian, reaction or possibly intelligence-based type.

Judging from the way his treating me it looks like he was determining something but couldn't exactly move till now or his undeceive about something.

Looking at my wounds it looks like I'm starting to bleed out the first year looked surprised in his eyes but soon enough replaced it trying to remain calm.

Sighing at this he began to get closer to me holding the medicine in his hand and popping off the lead as he spoke to me, "Sigh… can't exactly have you die out on me by bleeding to death. Take a sip it will heal you out."

Holding the urge to roll my eyes at this his really this gullible?

Sigh...

Just take the drink Neo and when he gets close I'll jump him and force him to untie me to escape.

But no way I'm taking his medicine he got from the thugs here but he doesn't need to know that until I strike I just need him to be close.
