*Thud*

Slowly opening the door after 20 minutes have passed Neo began to check the doors obediently entering the basement level floor as she soon saw Jack lying on the ground barely breathing.

Neo saw the signs of breaking out as he saw him break through the rope and the cuffs but seeing that the boy was down barely breathing with him motionlessly flinching clinging to life as she came forward.

Already being aware that his semblance was intelligence type because of how Lady Beat described it and witnessing him she saw no issues with her taking him down if he tried anything funny.

As she gets closer with a blank look on her face Neo's mind tried to fight back regaining control rather than listen to Lady Beat's words as she tries as she thinks to herself, 'You are fucking a bitch Beatrix! When I get out of this, I'll gut you like the whore and feed you to the real bitches on the streets stripped down to nothing but a slut hole for any bastards wanting to take you for a fucking ride! When I get my hands on you Spider fuckers! AHHH!!!!'

Trapped in her own mind as she recalls everything that has happened that lead her to this moment.

She was called by Roman to take care of the leak of info about killing Tukson as it was her job to do originally but someone managed to notify him before she had the chance to properly take care of the job.

She didn't think it was important at the time but still did as her friend Roman did because of the experience they have gone through as equals as well as the thrills of crimes she has committed with Roman.

The most fun she ever had… that is till she was caught.

She happened to be in Harmony Club trying to locate the person named Jack Nights that Cinder asked to collect info and if at all capture him as her Mistress wanted to be on interest in him as Neo didn't care at the time.

After all, what would she expect from someone she never met before?

Now the same person she found is going through the same treatment as her as inside her own mind growls at this, not for him but what's to come, 'I won't be a prisoner again. Not after I escaped my own name, my family, and that stupid Academy Girls School. I will be free…! Damn it…!'

Growling inside her own head trapped seeing everything the Spiders did Neo wanted more than to kill the Headmistress herself at the treatment of her body badly scared.

Despite her body not reacting to the pain, her own mind did as she felt all the torture tools used on her body leaving some lasting damage filled with bitter emotion of revenge if she ever gets freed, 'If I escape from here, I will be sure to kill that slut for trapping me!... if I escape… even Roman doesn't know….'

*Shiii*

While Neo sighs in defeat she was immediately surprised to be stuck inside a Royal Blue color trapping her in place as Jack woke up surprising her a bit, "Whew… way too close for comfort. Now then how about we do something about that collar."

Applying all of his skills to his strength as Neo was struggling to break free, he began to crack the collar around her neck…

*Creak*

*Thud*

Till finally, the collar broke under his strength as Neo finally lost consciousness as her body slumps down as if shutting down making him confused as he spoke to himself, "Well… that was unexpecting?"

~Jack POV~

Looking down at Neo with a confused expression on my face I see my chance to escape but… the last thing I need is for Roman to find me out I left her teammate to die.

Don't need a criminal mastermind after me or my team thank you very much.

That and I need any info they have of what's happening with Cinder gone from the picture.

Taking the chance to look at her I began to see the Grimm on the side as I sigh at this.

No way.

Nu-uh.

It's not worth it having to listen to this damn thing scream at me for 20 constant minutes it's like torturing myself with the scratching metal or glass sounds.

Not worth it.

Lifting my hand using my <Aura Ball> on the Grimm I launched it killing it instantly with my stacked skills.

*Pew*

Shaking my head, I began to take this chance to look at Neo to get the chance to get her semblance by copying it, and trust me it's very versatile how Neo used it in the show.

But the reason I couldn't get it is because of the damn conditions making it impossible to do in the <Image Training> because of a lack of time constraints.

Twitching at the requirements that I have to stay close to Neo of all people for the next 12 hours of my life would be really and I mean really hard to do considering her history and skills she has could kill me in seconds.

Minutes if I use my skills but that's beside the point.

Checking out the broken Suppressor cuffs I used my <Technopathy> skill to repair it as I used my Aura to inject into it as I see the machine parts begin to heal up thanks to my aura and repairing using the spare parts used to create it.

M-hmm….

This power is certainly OP with me having a tech-based skill and being very proficient as well inside the <Image Training> against those dream bots and Penny surviving a few times by LUCK but also gathering how to detain or disable her.

It was how I created Destiny Ward and Red Riot using my <Technopathy> to add the circuits needed while I injected the aura into my Scroll which was connected to the CCTS or known as the mouthful Cross Continental Transmit System.

The Cross Continental Transmit System (CCTS or simply CCT) is a communication technology in Remnant that allows instantaneous multimedia communication wirelessly over large distances.

Before the creation of the CCTS, radio technology was used for short-range communications within the boundaries of the Kingdoms. Communication between separate Kingdoms was difficult due to the constant threat of the Grimm, as messages had to be delivered through physical means, such as railroad couriers.

Numerous attempts to create a worldwide communication system were made. The creation of a network of space-based relay satellites was one such endeavor, but this effort ultimately failed, as it was found that Dust starts losing power as it begins to leave Remnant's atmosphere.

The Cross Continental Transmit System was first developed by the former Kingdom of Atlas and gifted to the rest of the world after the Great War to allow the Kingdoms to remain in communication.

The CCTS functions wirelessly, much like radio, but is capable of transmitting a far wider variety of media, including text, visuals, and audio. This evolved into an online web of information at mankind's fingertips.

The CCTS is reliant on four primary relay towers, with one located in each of the four Kingdoms. The first and largest of these towers was located in Atlas. Should any one of them be taken offline for maintenance – or fail for other reasons – the entire system also goes offline.

But that's not one of the weaknesses though…

At least not one they are aware of anyway.

They never encountered anyone with a Tech based semblance as I kept a record of it using my Scroll to connect to the CCTS but with my <Technopathy> allowing me to jack my own soul into the dataspace, it allows me to search for things more easily than others.

Kind of hard to explain it's like sending an avatar of sorts collecting the info needed for me to proceed to enter my head and depending on how high my INT Stat is making it easier for me to understand and process.

Hell, my brain can act like a supercomputer at times with me cheating in Classes since I have my head loaded with Beacon Academy facts.

Hehe.

Thank goodness for INT stats for classes.

Clicking the cuffs on Neo's wrist making sure to keep her around me for the next 12 hours keeping my Scroll on my person so that I could take calls.

What?

Taking the chance to depower Neo and tie her up I noticed some damage to her body slash marks and the sorts that seem to be recent as well as some lasting damage.

Hmm…

Taking a Healing Potion (Low) out from my <Deep Pockets> should be enough for her to heal up and recover all the damages done.

But before I used it on her I could use this as leverage to get a deal out of her or info but then again, I don't exactly know how one would go about this…

Sigh… for now I should probably go ahead and deal with the grunts while finding out more of what's going on here.

Not that it's not invaluable I wasted my time in Beacon to get some items similar to this instead of grinding for Stats since I gathered random item boxes with some healing, aura, poison, paralysis, or stamina-based potions.

Could use the grind time to take the trash out but observe the situation to see how to handle it all I need is to hack into one of their Scrolls for me to get all the info I would need.

Here's hoping that age of old troupe of Grunts being incompetent dopes works here in Remnant.
