Doing my regular workout again after resting again I have to get stronger.

Because with what happened with the Nightmare Grimm made me realize a few things as I heavily underestimated the Grimm.

I usually thought in the show they are expressed as mindless monsters oh I got a harsh reality check on that front.

And they made a real grave enemy one day that I promise.

Now my goal is to keep getting stronger and learn all that I can so that I won't fall for the same mistake I did today.

Never underestimate my foes.

I still have plenty of my stat points I have saved up and the fight from what my team described in the fight was definitely something I don't want to ever happen again to me.

I can't remain weak not forever anyway.

I need strength beyond what I can do.

And the skills I have polished are good but for what's to come I need to go beyond what I want.

Trying to finish up my Daily Quest so that I can get more stat points I decided to do more than the usual amount I could get from the Daily Quest doubling everything this time to see if I can get something useful.

As I was running around the halls or I guess jogging my way I happen to see Glynda as she saw me with a frown as she spoke, "Oh Jack. I didn't think you would be up and running in the halls I thought you would use this time to recover."

Stopping to catch my breath as I met Glynda I replied to her in a respectful manner, "Oh Professor Goodwitch. I was recovering and thought to do some light running to help keep my mind wandering after…"

I left the sentence unsaid as Glynda stops her frowns and sighs at me as she lightly scolded me for running, "Sigh. I suppose after everything that has happened you would need something to distract yourself. Very well then but please be wary of your fellow first years studying in class mister Nights."

Nodding to her in a respectful manner I replied, "Of course Professor Goodwitch."

Agreeing with her she began to move ahead as I ran past her continuing my exercise as I thought about what I should focus on next.

I know the Vytal Festival celebrations in Vale are right around the corner soon enough tomorrow then which means the events nearing the end of volume 1 are also coming to a close soon enough.

For my own future and my allies, I have to be stronger.

I guess I should start looking into getting some more Semblances or skills for me to copy down in the future that is worth copying and fusing in the near future.

For now, I should see what I can get by doubling my daily quest to see what I get.

After working out for a few minutes to nearly an hour I began to see the efforts of training as I see the daily quest screen.

And just as I expected there was a change in the rewards when I doubled everything.

Seeing the blue screen, I was right to assume I would get something different.

Even if I quadruple the amount I did it won't raise more than the 200 limits it allowed I tested it and it didn't change in the slightest.

Description: This is merely the first step to becoming strong in Remnant as you will need it to face unknown threats be prepared.

Narrowing my eyes in suspicion of the boxes I could get something useful from them but…

Only when I really need them would I truly consider getting them.

Right now the stat is much more convenient and important at this time.

If I were to choose the items boxes, I won't be sure it would be locked like with Solo Leveling even though Gaia gave it to me.

Or I could have missed my chance but regardless while I'm in need of strength growing my stats isn't the only means to get stronger.

There is power in knowledge as I don't want to get trapped like that again.

As for what I plan to place in my stats…

Currently, my STR raises my physical abilities including my muscles I'll place some points in that, and also for WIS as I need to get my AP recovery a bit up when I need it.

Possibly LUCK as well since I could've been lucky that my team saved me as well as other issues that might be involved in later trouble down the line.

I feel content with this for the time being as for what next, I think I should go to the library to see more knowledge about the Grimm.

I need to be prepared more in the future.

~Third POV~

Elsewhere in one of the Kingdoms of Remnant was a woman as she wears lipstick and violet eyeshadow. She wears a dark red, off-the-shoulders v-neck mini dress with yellow designs. There is a blue feather-like accessory on her right hip at the top of an open portion of her dress. The dress ends in an upside-down triangular tail in the back, ending just above the knees.

This woman is Cinder Fall as she is currently in the Vale Kingdom in a private apartment room with a seer showing a shadowy figure hidden inside the Seer Cinder kneels as she gives her report, "Sorry mistress… I have been spotted by one of Ozpin's dogs. They managed to figure me out when I heard the info broker of Headmaster of Vale is after me. I have no idea how this happened."

Hearing this the shadowy figure inside the Seer sneered at Cinder for the failure as she spoke to Cinder in a cold tone making Cinder's spine shiver, "So what I get is that you failed… you know how I dislike failure Cinder. Do you know at least how this occurred?"

Cinder for her part only shakes her head unsure how she got caught.

The shadowy figure glares at Cinder but then sighs as the figure replies to her servant in a cold tone, "Sigh… you are very fortunate I still need your service half-maiden. For now, you will get your revenge on the hound that caught you later. You have a side mission to do."

Hearing this Cinder smiled scared of disobeying her master controlling the Grimm in a shaky voice, "O-of course-s mistress-s. What can I do for you mistress-s… what do I do to redeem myself."

A cold smile soon appeared on the figure as she replied to Cinder her side objective as the Seer inside changed giving Cinder a new report, "The original plan in Vale is still good? But for this side mission, I want you to investigate the disappearance of Grimm with neon lights on their eyes. Someone is playing with something out of their control. Check Vale and Mistral of the news."

Listening to this Cinder's eyes widen in clear view as she saw the Grimm that the mystery figure wanted the Grimm shows neon color lights moving in packs orderly as if ordered by a higher being…

The shadowy figure soon revealed to be Salem ponders seeing through a glass containing the events that happened in the dream world making her smile at this, "For now boy I have bigger things to do than collect you. You may be, fortunate for now but when I'm done with this side quest I'll put my attention on you."

*Shooo*

Turning off the glass mirror containing one if not many dreamscape info in the room as Salem left her room.

Elsewhere around the world, Grimm are seem with figures that show a star-like creature on the sides or on the faces of the Grimm being controlled as evident on the neon lights in their eyes is shown dragging people nearby to the sea…
