As the Negative Jack reacted violently towards Pyrrha holding onto the Dream Sword and Shield in her hands armed up as he stepped back in fear sensing the power it holds of the weapons.
The Grimm Nightmare in control manipulating Jack's mind saw the pure Aura it radiated as it found the sources it wanted to latch onto to completely root itself onto Jack's aura but couldn't as the amount…
The potential of his aura…
No matter how many thorns it releases the parasite Grimm couldn't latch onto something continuously grew more as it was left with manipulating the mind of Jack but couldn't be done much about it other than try to take over his mind.
Even then it failed with some success as it couldn't find the root core of his Aura as it always grew more and more in the dream as it decided to search for it till he found the source within a book.
The very same book that Team (J)NPR held as it tried to force out some secrets from Jack when he saw the book optioning to release more info for it to use.
And it got a lot and less than the Nightmare Grimm intended but now that it managed to break inside the book Negative Jack glares expressing its emotions of hate and worries at the weapons Pyrrha held in her hands.
"Now!"
*Swoosh*
They all rushed towards Negative Jack with Pyrrha in the lead as Grimm commanded Negative Jack to defend as Negative Jack swiped his arm creating a repulsive force using his <Telekinesis> skill.
*Woosh*
"Dodge!"
Feeling the incoming force they tried to avoid the repulsive force of <Telekinesis> as they moved away from the spot Negative Jack raised his arm up as the tendrils of thorns surrounding Negative Jack's body responded heading towards Nora's direction.
Ren seeing this was worried but it didn't last long as Nora readied her weapon at the thorns as her hammer changed into her grenade launcher mode as she yells out, "Hah! Try on someone else faker!"
*Bang*
*BOOM*
Launching out a grenade of Fire Dust inside her canister of the grenade made a fiery show as the thorns attacked was blocked and the shockwave created launched Nora higher to a point where she grabs onto the ledges of the building.
*Bang*
*Bang*
*Bang*
More gunfire of dust shells runs toward Jack's direction as he merely took the shoots that came from Ren as he kept his attention towards Pyrrha backing away from her weapons as Ren shouts at them, "This won't work! We need to get closer somehow for Pyrrha to deal a fatal blow to the Grimm controlling Jack."
*Thud*
Falling down creating a small crater of small spider-like webs form on the ground Nora frowns at this holding her hammer, "Easier said than done Ren. Negative Jack avoids Pyrrha like the plague as long as she got those relics in her hands."
"Right…"
Pyrrha agreed to this as Negative Jack took a safe distance away from the group trying to attack using his thorns at them but couldn't even so far get near where Pyrrha's situation is at so long as she wields the Dream Sword and Shield.
Seeing the stalemate Ren quickly thought of an idea as it was risky but worth a shot, "Alright I think I have an idea. But it would involve me or Nora as the bait attracting him."
"Not it!"
Quickly Nora said it before Ren could say it as he sighs in defeat but tells the two teammates what to do, "Wha – Sigh… very well. Nora when I run around make sure to boost Pyrrha at Negative Jack with the weapons to cut off the Grimm at a spot he won't expect. But I'm going to need a coin."
Pyrrha immediately handed Ren one of her coins as she and Nora gave them their wishes.
"Roger King Ren!"
"Be safe Ren!"
Like that the two flee as soon as they did…
*THUD*
Slamming straight down to the ground Ren thinks to himself as beads of sweat roll down his face, 'Sigh… the things I do for friends and Nora. I just have to keep him busy on me long enough.'
*Shiii*
Quickly vanishing Ren used his Semblance <Tranquility> to vanish in front of Negative Jack as it scoffs in a more noticeable monstrous tone with the thorns entering his body, "Really? This whole vanishing trick again Ren? You would think you would learn."
Ren's Semblance, <Tranquility>, masks negative emotions, which aids him in avoiding detection by Grimm. He can extend the effect of his Semblance to other people, as well as vehicles containing people.
It also works as a way of invisibility to others as they aren't able to sense him or feel him.
Unlikely to work as Negative Jack with his <Observe> skill managed to pick up on Ren's location as his eyes lock on his own as Ren began to run through the streets of San Francisco the image of the area they reside in.
*Woosh*
Growing thorn shape tendrils as Negative Jack began to take chance with the Nightmare Grimm helping him try to capture Ren as he moves away and scales the walls using his weapon Stormflower to create holes for him to throw himself and stick.
*Woosh*
Ren continues to swing and swing away from Negative Jack as he noticed a change of aura as his eyes were quickly alerted and moved right away from his original position.
*Swoosh*
Backflipping away from his spot and onto the ground floor he was almost ensnared by a noticeable royal blue aura trap that was there as his eyes glanced at Negative Jack rushing at him with the thorns supporting his speed.
Gulping at the sight Ren ran as fast as he could with his aura boosting him so long as he could, and he began to use the coin that he got thanks to Shion Semblance <Dream> as he tosses it to the side.
*Shiii*
As the coin shined where Ren threw the direction the coin began to inflate into a Ren double decoy it immediately took Negative Jack's attention giving Ren more running distance as he heard his decoy talk as he ran.
"You're not so tough!"

*SHING*
"Grr…"
*SCRCH*
Soon enough the decoy Ren was suddenly cut apart from the thorns that ruthlessly got cut up and Negative Jack <Telekinesis> ripped his decoy apart piece by piece that soon deflated into small aura particles confusing Negative Jack immediately what happened?
While Negative Jack paused trying to process what happened Ren sweated dropped seeing his decoy getting destroyed as he thought to himself, 'Well… even though that was a version of me meant to be a decoy… I'm glad I wasn't that guy.'
As he continued to run away Negative Jack managed to see where Ren was going as he did so used the coin, he got from Pyrrha and tossed it to the other side as it began to transform.
*Shiii*
As it did so in the front entrance of a building as he smirked, he saw Nora winding up and Pyrrha standing on top of the hammer as she used her <Polarity> to keep herself on the weapon.
"Get bACk HerE!!!"
Hearing the monstrous Negative Jack coming toward Ren merely glanced at him with a confident smirk, "That my friend is checkmate. Pyrrha! Nora! NOW!"
Ducking down as the door was now wide open making the Negative Jack and Grimm Nightmare both having eyes wide open to see Nora finished up winding up throwing Pyrrha in their direction, "Aye! Aye King Ren! Pyrrha! This is all on you! Take that Grimm down!"
*SWOOSH*
Swinging with all of Nora's might she threw Pyrrha holding the Dream weapons as she was launched at high speeds twirling the sword and spinning in two directions.
*Shing*
"SCREEE…!"
A cutting sound was made as the Grimm parasite Nightmare was forcibly cut off Negative Jack soon started to disappear as white light particles began to dissipate as he began to transform into their leader Jack again.
"Jack are you ok!"
Pyrrha began to hold on to him as he was knocked out.
"SCREEE….!!"
"MINE!!!!"
Hearing the raspy sound of Nightmare Grimm as it lost the best host it could it began to tackle its way to Jack again but…
*Thud*
A barrier soon appeared blocking the Grimm from getting anywhere closer to the two as the loud crashing sound as Pyrrha glanced at her shield with surprise, "The Shield Relic is blocking the Nightmare from getting close!"
Sounding surprised at this she merely began to defend her friend raising the Dream Sword and Shield in both her hands the Grimm growled in displeasure as the commotion from what's happening made Jack finally start to wake up, "Argh… can anyone tell me on the number – What the heck?"
Beginning to regain his senses again as he looks around the area and next a flood of memories of recent events happened that made him pale, "Oh… oh god what I'm –"
"No, it wasn't."
Before Jack could ask for forgiveness after remembering what happen it was Nora spoke calming him down along with Ren coming as she spoke as she glared at the floating Nightmare trying to enter, "Jack you weren't yourself and what you did… we know you weren't in control it was that Nightmare was taking control of you. Grr… they always take things and loved ones away from people."
Nora growling at the Nightmare below Ren came over and placed his hand over Jack's shoulder with a reassuring smile, "No worries friend. We know that your actions were out of your control. It was because of that Grimm affecting your mind that made you feel that way."
Cringing at the attempts he made to his teammate's life that they tried to save him made him feel worse as he try, to speak, "Even so what I did was unforgivable. Mind-controlled or not I tried to kill you. I can't exactly just forget what happened."
Before Jack could speak out more Pyrrha corrected him as she smiled at him and talked to him calming him down, "We know you can't just forget this and move on… but one day you will. There comes a time when we all do so. So just take this moment to learn you have allies to rely on. Your team to rely on."
Jack's eyes widen hearing Pyrrha's words and tears tremble out of his eyes but the smile on his face gave him a semblance of hope as he replied, "You… sniff… you… sniff… you guys are really something huh? I'm glad to have met you all and… and that you are part of my life."
They smiled at this as Team JNPR has become one like a team through the ordeal.
