~Jack POV~

After returning home to dinner with the Rose Family and explaining everything to Tai he was scared and angry with his girls fighting a Grimm unarmed and down on aura.

He scolded them while he thanked me again for helping his daughters.

I have to admit it was really nice so to speak hearing the praise.

But sometimes I wonder if I'm doing the right way not telling them my [The Gamer] ability but I shove that thought aside.

I will only tell people I can trust.

Blindly following good people knowing they are the protagonist is stupid because you don't what can or could change if they knew.

Resting on the bed as I have my thoughts collected, I don't know what the future has for me but I will do my very best to survive in this world and while I'm at it find out truly what to do here since being sent here I have to have a reason.

Whatever the case maybe I would need to find out and perhaps my first aim would be to find the Relic of Wisdom.

That would be as good as any place to start finding some answers.

Till I'm strong enough I won't do anything drastic and will use this time to train as much as I can for what's to come.

Ready or not I only have do.

Quest: The First Step

Description: Finally surviving a week in Remnant and joining the elites to protect all who are in need learning from the best of the best in Beacon Academy. Earn yourself the right to join these elites following the life of warriors in training!

Rewards: 5000 Lien, Skill Book: Sword Mastery, Healing Potion (Medium), and 300 Exp.

Failure: Possibly fail the test and canon are destroyed.

Seeing this blue screen pop up I couldn't help but frown at this knowing my time would really be up after this.

Welp no uses denying it now, it's time I face the music sooner or later.

For now, it was time to sleep before the time comes.

All I could really do for now is simply just hope for the best.

~Third POV~

In the Bullhead an airship used to transport and take passengers to their destination to their locations a bunch of students is waiting inside to get ready for their first day at Beacon with Jack glancing at everyone with amusement in his eyes and wonder.

In the Bullhead were two of the main protagonists in this world Ruby Rose, and her older sister Yang Xiao Long along with their new companion for the last week Jack Nights.

Ruby she wears a black long-sleeved blouse with a high collar and red trim on the sleeves, over which is a black waist cincher with red lacing up the front, and a matching skirt with red lining. She also wears a pair of thick black stockings and black combat boots with red laces, red trims around the top, and red soles.

Her outfit is topped by a red hooded cloak fastened to her shoulders by cross-shaped pins. Her emblem appears as a large silver buckle on her wide black belt, slung around her hips at an angle. Attached to her belt are a pocket and a row of bullets.

Yang Xiao Long wears a tan jacket that bears her midriff, with golden brown piping and short, puffy sleeves with black cuffs that feature two gold buttons. Underneath this, she wears a low-cut yellow crop top with her emblem on the left breast in black.

She also wears a brown belt covered by a pleated brown piece of material reaching from hip to hip around the back of her waist, with her emblem emblazoned on the right-most pleat in gold. Underneath this is a long, white, asymmetrical piece of material reaching to her knee on the right side, as well as a pair of black mini shorts.

She wears a pair of brown, knee-high boots and orange over-the-knee socks, with the right sock pushed down just below the knee. A gray bandanna is tied around her left knee. An orange infinity scarf and black fingerless gloves complete her outfit.

Jack wears a long black dark coat with his weapon Gauntlets mechas weapon that turns into a shield or fires off Fire Dust shells. Under the black coat his wearing a white leather shirt and pants as he views the sky with awe and excitement in his eyes.

Next to happen is when Ruby was being smothered by her older sister in joy, "Oh, I can't believe my baby sisters and our new friend Jack going to Beacon with me. This is the best day ever!"

To Ruby's discomfort and not wanting to be crushed she says, "Please stop."

Jack next to them chuckles at the sight while he raises his hand hiding his laughter, "Haha… No worries Ruby it's just your simple sibling loving. Although I did hear the case of things that Love Hurts."

Yang releases her hold on Ruby still filled with joy as she responds, "But I'm so proud of you! You and Jack both got to join!"

Ruby replies next with a slight frown as Jack does a little bow, "Really, sis, it was nothing."

Yang however disagrees and responds with a grin on her face replying to her, "What do you mean? It was incredible! Everyone at Beacon's going to think you're the bee's knees!"

Ruby responds with discomfort in her tone as she expresses a frown, "I don't want to be the bee's knees! I just want to be a normal girl with normal knees."

Yang talks to Ruby with clear confusion expressed as she speaks, "What's with you? Aren't you excited?"

Ruby says to Yang in a worried response to her older sister in a weak tone of her voice, "Of course I'm excited! I just-… I got moved ahead two years I don't want people to think I'm special or anything."

Yang goes over to her sis and helps her mood with words of encouragement, "But you are special!"

Taking the chance to say his piece as the two sisters listened as he smirked at Ruby making her feel some comfort not being alone, "I wouldn't worry about it, Ruby. You aren't alone in this endeavor as we both are in the same boat. Although I got here by chance by Oz. Man catching up is going to be a pain…"

Ruby groans but agrees with Jack while Yang puts her thumbs up to cheer her up.

Elsewhere in the same Bullhead ride was a girl that she wears a thigh-length strapless dress with a faint color gradation from white to pale blue at the hem. A small piece of black lace sits in the front of her neckline and the hem of the dress is scalloped and stitched to resemble snowflakes, with layers of white tulle under the skirt.

That girl is Weiss Schnee heiress to the Schnee Dust Company as she looks at her Scroll reviewing the info provided as she talks to herself, "After the entrance ceremony, students will be split into teams. It'll be crucial to get into the right team."

"-Outta the way!"

"Epp!"

Next was Weiss moving back away from a hyperactive girl as she approaches a boy.

The girl wears a collared black sleeveless vest, with a blue central front section with red accents, her vest has her emblem, on the back. Under the vest, she wears a white sleeveless t-shirt with a heart-shaped cutout above her breast line in the center accompanied by a pair of white detached sleeves on each arm, and a pair of light pink fingerless gloves. She sports a short pink skirt with a single white layer under it.

This girl is Nora Valkyrie as she talks to her childhood friend as she talked to him happily, "This is crazy Ren! The bus is actually flying!"

Ren wears a dark green, diagonally buttoned, long-sleeved tailcoat that is red on the inside, with black and gold trimming and pink cuffs. The trimming goes down the right side of his torso and forms a black collar. Along with this, he wears a black, long-sleeved shirt beneath the suit and light-tan pants with black shoes. He ties his hair back in a low ponytail.

He replied to his childhood friend with a deadpan expression on his face as he spoke to her calmly, "We've already been flying for 2 hours Nora, and I keep on telling you that it's an airship, not a bus."

Weiss feeling annoyed by this glance her eyes away from Ren and Nora as she talks to herself about the ordeal, "I've never been anywhere this noisy. Huh? That girl…"

As Weiss was talking to herself her eyes wandered to a redhead girl her eyes flashed with recognition but couldn't recall where she was from.

The unknown girl wore a brown over-bust corset with a vertical strip of lighter brown in the center. Additionally, she wore an elastic, black, A-line mini skirt and brown opera-length gloves on both arms. She wore a red ankle-length sash that wrapped around her skirt.

Weiss opens up her Scroll to find out soon enough through an ad on Pumpkin Pete's Marshmallow Flakes Weiss smiles at this as she spoke to herself, "Wait, isn't she… Pyrrha Nikos! The Mistral Undefeated Champion she would be perfect to partner up."

Jack in the meantime was looking at his new scroll he got with a frowning expression shown as he examines it before Yang called to him, "Yo Jack. Remnant to Jack ever since you got your Scroll from our Dad you seem to be out of it. You are doing ok here?"

"Huh?"

Opening his eyes towards Yang as he scratches the back of his head with a smile on his face as he spoke, "Oh… sorry I just wasn't expecting your dad to hand me a Scroll. I just thought it would be difficult to obtain one for I.D. purposes and such along with Lien used for it. I feel kind of bad him paying it for me is all…"

Ruby pats Jack on the back as she reencourages Jack's bad mood into a good one as she talked to him, "No worries Jack. Besides getting a Scroll while you were outside the Kingdom is pretty cheap actually. So, it wasn't any worries for my dad considering you helped him out with the farm, or… hehe… he really took a liking to your cooking."

Jack snorted at that but then quickly formed a smile at the thought of Ruby's idea before agreeing as he spoke, "Tch… well… I guess I shouldn't take it granted for the offer. Thanks, Ruby, for the cheers up."

She smirks at this but not before Yang suddenly says to the both of them holding their shoulders together as she spoke, "Good. Now it's time to make some friends, especially you little sis and Jack."

"Huh?"

Like that Yang dragged the both of them around as she glances around talking to herself as she looks around, "Let's see, who's themselves and looks bored?... Over there. Let's go!"

"H-Hey sis!"

"Whoa, their girl!"

As the two got dragged along with Yang finding a friend for the two anti-social people to find new friends for them.

After all it's Yang's job to do it as she recalls what her dad told her to help Ruby get some friends for her to depend on as Tai told her and help Jack for him being too reluctant or nervous to make some friends.

Once more Yang felt like the elder sibling to help the two kids out as it was a duty, she felt like she has always done the most.
